    Just want to reiterate, I misspoke when I said Firewall coined the “FTK”. It certainly didn’t 🫠
    Also yes, Prank-Kids did top 16 YCS Chicago, however for a YCS winning deck, it fell off the face of the earth in terms of the competitive meta-game and still was a rogue pick either way. But props to another rogue warrior for making the deck work.
    Now enjoy the video :)

      maybe it coined the FTK only in Yu-Gi-Oh (pay no attention to the Exodia behind the curtain) and not in other games like MtG?

    Yacine Sahli’s trap cyber dragon deck was a huge
    moment in yu-gi-oh for me. It wasn’t the fact that the deck wasn’t popular at the time. But it was reinvented and played in such a different and inventive way but was still amazing, and it’s one of my favorite things to see. It will never be as big as this upset. But it is still very cool.

    • @superzenmodeman
      @superzenmodeman Рік тому +7

      YES, Cyber Dragon Trap is probably my favorite unexpected Yugioh moment. It was interesting because while most other Trap decks were threatened by Orcust using Zeroborus, Cyber Dragons had their Megafleet plays to mitigate it.

    • @BWSamurai69

      It was so cool. I made that deck shortly after and not only was it a suprising deck, but it was one of the most fun and simple decks to play as well. I’m forever sad about the new master rule lowkey nerfing that deck. My goal in yugioh is to make a deck like that one day

    Bit nitpicky, but I think you used the picture Top 8 from YCS Utrecht at 16:04 instead of the YCS Milan one. Granted using a picture from the event he got 2nd place with BA, doesn't really invalidate how good Dinh-Kha is at utilising under the radar strategies.

    Link-1 Miow-mu at
    1: At least make it limit, every deck deserve a consistent opening if they can.
    2: This will make the deck is more agrresive, because you can double board wipe with no worries.
    3: This will be dominant again.
    .
    Either limit or semi-limit, this will give a different impact to their play style. And I think it is still balance for the game.

    • @erbinha_1234
      @erbinha_1234 Рік тому

      Absolutely not, Meow-mu could be 4 and I would be surprised if Prank-kids were anything beyond Rogue. Simply because, what is the Prank-kids end-board? An one-sided board wipe and probably 2 or 3 hand-traps? If that was enough for a deck to be dominant Vanquish Soul would be tier 0. Sure, Meow-mu gives it a consistent 1 card combo, but that combo is both interruptable and low-impact, so it should go to 3

    1: great vid I rarely click this fast on vids
    2: I remember
    one other guy played prank kids but they got paired at top 64 and din kha bui won (obviously)
    - in the final Federico mecozzi said that his only lost was to (the other) prank kids, in Swiss, so he was kinda afraid
    3: I think din kha bui is sometimes kinda rude and very hungry for the win and might result is a bad playing experience during play, I think he is the seto Kaiba to the much nicer Paulie aronson (Yugi) .
    I’ve seen a lot A LOT of his matches in the last 8 years, he barely explains anything (not that u have to necessarily) but he uses little kinks at his advantage. I don’t love his attitude when competing its like he is not having fun sometimes.
    But…HE TOTALLY DESERVED IT AND HE IS THE BEST INNOVATOR OF THE GAME
    4: the vid is veeeery good, I would change the paper background when u show the cards its the only aesthetically “cheap” thing in the vid

    Not me tuning into a YGO video hearing Sky Meadow music from RoR2 LMAO. If I watch this whole video and an elite Parent doesn't spawn behind me and oneshot me, consider this video blessed

    Very high quality content which you don't see much on yugi content.

    Funny thing, me and my cousin who also plays Yu-Gi-Oh saw that prank kids will be the meta buster that year. No one ever bothered reading it and never saw how abusive the deck really is. I actually used it against my friends though we don't have locals at that time.

    Insane channel.
    Btw Alex Robertson is one of the best players in the world, he sees lines where normal players would crumble and be blind
