This is beautiful. I'm going to try and create this for my daughter's school open day.
Also forgot to add, your video was the easiest to follow. You are a great teacher.
Thanks so much for making this video! I was looking for a tutorial like this as well years ago!
Thank you for this video. I didn't learn this growing up and now I can and also help the little ones..✊🏽✊🏽❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Mahalo! Great instructions! 🤗
I saw lots of videos of making palm hats but I am still amazed on how it was done and the result, super creative and very cute😍 palm tress really had a lot of usage in our everyday lives. You're a great teacher by the way, keep up👍👍
Aloha and Mahalo plenty, you're a good teacher, I've watched several other confusing videos where their instructions wasn't clear and poor camera angles which I lost intrest. I caught on really easy to your easy to understand instructions. Mahalo Piha
By far, it is the best tutorial for coconut hat making. Mahalo, Teal🤙
Agreed😊
i do love the way you film things and your hats are just great❤🌴terry
you look so relaxed on the beach ,as for the 2nd leaf through the hat that is how i learnt how to do it and they are comfortable i think it is about 11 years since i made the 1st one , but unlike you to swim after is not a good idea in queensland because of crocs that is our tropics but that was our holiday every year , sorry my name is terry i should have put that 1st good luck with your business fingers crossed as they say in australia .

Love it! I'm not sure why this popped up in my feed but I'm glad it did. I never payed attention when my mom and granny make coconut hats and now that they are gone, I wish I did . Your tutorial is clear and easy to follow. Thank you for sharing. Next time I travel back to the islands, I'll be showing off my new skill. 😂

Gracias sos la mejor maestra voy hacer mi sombrero
how was originally tied in my book it says with ties made of the the green bit in the centre of the frond is that right .
So Cool😎
I bought one of these in Cuba, just curious if there’s anything I can do to preserve it for as long as possible so I can maybe hang it up or just keep as a souvenir
Got to know about this hat from bretmen .i will surely make that
Can you do one with a covered top?
Awesome Mahalo now I know how
Do the leaves have to be a certain length in order to make the top part of the hat? iAre the leaves from a regular coconut tree? I made one but the leaf part of the tree wasnt long enough to make the top of the hat.
Killer work
Hola amiga ,,, una pregunta y no se reduce el tamaño cuando seca????
