I’m trying so hard not to cry at DOE Trident’s kickdowns. Listening to it was very joyful. I’m grateful some DOEs are still in serviced on 151 while the rest are in different operators outside London. Magnificent beauty!

One of these DOEs or even this one needs to be preserved in the future because they are too good with so much potential to go for scrap. What's your favourite batch of euro 4 ZF E400 tridents that u have been on so far? But as always, nice video my g 💪🏾💪🏾👍🏾👍🏾 👊🏾👊🏾
Thanks man, yeah someone will defo preserve one of them! My favourite batch are the SN58 that First Essex have in Basildon, they’re 6-Speed and you can easily get downshifts with them! 🤩
@@Frozzles They aren't planning to phase them out anytime soon are they? I'm gonna be near Basildon in September (if all goes to plan) and I do want to spot them at least once
Yeah I think the differences lie between the fact it's a not the same bodywork as the Enviro 400, and it might just be different soundproofing/heat protection equipment under the rear seats.
@Frozzles Ah, that makes sense actually. I've driven quite a few Enviro400 bodied examples and they do sound quite "polite" in comparison. Sutton looked after the very well indeed!

Im almost certain this is DOE48. Its the one used in commercial rail fleet a lot and does rail commonly. It was out when i did my last Lewisham shift.
