    When I practiced some waves last night I overheated my resin.
    I was getting some awesome cells to LOL so now I have to sand it down and put another coat on it. I hate it when that happens.
    These are pretty and I need to get some of those molds. 👍🤩
    Yes the pro marine will set up really fast and that’s exactly what happened to me yesterday.

    Im watching your video now. I have learned something thats a game changer making these.... Use elmers glue and mix it with your sand instead of resin! It looks ALOT BETTER!!!! I did a turtle yesterday. I didnt wait for the glue to dry . But this morning the sand looked like the beach. it wasnt wet looking from the resin! Im not very computer literate but Im going to try sending you a pic!

    Do you have to have the heat gun to make the waves? Is there any other way to make waves

    • @DorisAtDFDesigns
      @DorisAtDFDesigns  8 днів тому +1

      It is heat that makes the waves ripple. The resin has to be pushed by hit air. Hope this helps.

      If you fill the mold with water and measure that, you will know how much resin to use. I do that and write the ounce number on the back so I remember how much the mold holds.
