    Looking really forward to this, I am going to be purchasing a 2010 Polaris Dragon soon and it currently has a 163 track on it. Here in west central Minnesota 163's are not needed so I am going to be cutting down the tunnel to fit a 136 track. I am hoping that Power Modz will give me some tips I haven't thought of yet. Thanks Lewis!!!!!! Now bring on the video see we can see! LOL!!!

    Always wondered how come you guys are never working with 4 stroke yamahas?i know you have in the past but compared to 2 strokes ? Would love to see how you take a challenge to lighten up and get more piwer from say a yamaha apex.

    You don’t need pipe wrap, all it does is keep moisture against the pipe when it’s not running and rots your pipe. Once they’re hot, they’re up to temp. The pipe wrap doesn’t add any power.

    PowerModz I was riding earlier today and my carburetors throttle port unscrewed and I started bugging a lot I got home to fix it but unfortenintly its still bogging and I made sure that the piston was in the right way. Anything I could do to fix this problem? Sorry btw I don't know a lot about the engine Wish I could tell you the exact name.

    What are the jet sizes for the 860? Just wondering because we can’t get one to run just right

      Brayden Mulder
      I ran 460 mains in my 860
      And that was with single pipe
      480 when I switched to twins
      Some guys run up to 490-510
      Start higher and check your plugs

    i know you hate all the comments saying dont do it but i think you shouldve waited till you made the trip out west, i live in northern BC and the snow conditions are pretty great right now. i do agree that a 163 is overkill for powerlines but ur gonna regret it once u get up to these hills

    your shortening it and this is supposed to be one of the snowiest years in Ontario!

    • @PowerModzOfficial
      @PowerModzOfficial  7 років тому +2

      they say that every year - but this year if I shorten it there will really be a lot of snow = so im going to shorten it so we get snow!

    • @grimthenoble
      @grimthenoble 7 років тому

      Why not just shorten track and not mess with the tunnel? That way you don't have to lengthen it when you get to much snow and complain that it doesn't get enough bite! Haha just sayin

    • @roudyroy1
      @roudyroy1 7 років тому

      I like that logic, like throwing the tarp on the boat to get a sunny day! I do agree with you choice to shorten it though. you can handle 90% of the terrain in Ontario with a 136 and some momentum.

      grimthenoble he would likely tweak/damages the tunnel doing wheelies if he just shortened the track.

    Just love how because mountain sleds get all the press these days that the rest of the %96 of the country feels that they just gotta have a mountain sled, till they realise that anything more then a 144 is completely useless for any other type of terrain. Sound about right?

    I will never understand why people put energy drink stickers all over their sled. I whipe my ass with quilted northern toilet paper, i don't cover my sled with ass whipe stickers.

    looks like an interesting project aha, first time iv heard of someone shortening a sled. come check out my channel too!

  • @coleswangin7715
    @coleswangin7715 7 років тому

    Why would you buy a 174 inch sled and shorten it instead of buying a shorter sled

    • @nathanfleming6483
      @nathanfleming6483 6 років тому

      Cole Swangin it’s a race sled extended to a 163 now he’s shortening it to a 146.
