Hey new to this channel. I'm so glad YT recommended you guys. I'm a new fan. I combed through all your cover videos. I very much like Gigi's cover of the oldies but goodies songs and since I'm an old guy anyway. Can you cover ---- Moon River (Audrey Hepburn)?
Still listening in 2024? ❤
mahina 2024!

Great cover! I'm glad I found your channel and love all the 80s cover songs.
Mareng gigi, bakit naman parang ang dali nung kinanta mo? Nung kinanta ko hiningal na ko e 😅
I just wanted to share my opinion and experience discovering Gigi vibes Band unexpectedly on UA-cam’s short reels up to watching for hours till now as I speak about this. Iam just so amazed and so much in awe of The GIGI Vibes Band! But ofcourse the undeniably, so much talent and very unique and different vocal range and styles, but all master class in its own superior level and very gorgeous Gigi De Lana! I am just hooked on to listening to the whole band all day and will never get tired! And the other amazing thing is all your covers are not just covers! You guys actually somehow makes the song lot more interesting to listen to as they already are or and yet better than the original! And to solidify my genuine comment, I have owned my UA-cam account for about 20 years now and not ones have I had the feeling on commenting on any of the millions and millions of videos I’ve watched in here! This is my very first comment on anything in here! And not because I want to but I just had to! You all are very very talented musicians! And I mean that with all of my sincere heart.
I don’t care who claims to be as your biggest fan…. But I know iam your biggest fan!! Thank you the Gigi Vibes Band for this amazing experience and journey you guys took me into! 🙏🙏🙏
Your new and biggest fan, BIM 🇨🇦
It makes my day better whenever I listen to “Better Days” sung by Gigi. My hat-off to Gigi and her team members for making this awesome video. I hope they can create more contents like this one so fans can expect more ”Better Days“ to come.

After watching this performance about 35 times, I have changed my opinion. I said she was quite possibly the finest talent ever from the Philippines. She is without a doubt one of the most talented singers that I have ever heard and definitely the most talented EVER from the Philippines. The quality and the range of her vocals is nothing short of phenomenal! Wish you all the best!
You might be interested to hear her cover of Through the Fire/Piano in the Dark.
@MARISSA FE HERRADURA I've watched every video she has posted to UA-cam. It's one thing to be so beautiful, but to have that much talent too? She's phenomenal!
Nag iisa, walang katulad,sa ngayon si gigi na yata ang pinakamagaling ,,yong boses nya nag iisa
She even beats the Philippines best singer like Regine Velasquez, Lea Salonga, foreign best Withney Houston, Celine Dion, Madonna, Britney Spears, Cristina Aguellera, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Olivia Newton John, Rhianna
Those adlibs are sick ❤
Silver gray hair neatly combed in place.
There were four generations of love on her face.
She was so wise, no surprise passed her eyes,
She'd seen it all.
I was a child, oh, about three or four.
All day I'd ask questions.
At night I'd ask more.
But whenever; she never, would ever, turn me away.
I'd say how can I be sure what is right or wrong ?
And why does what I want always take so long ?
Please tell me where does God live
And why won't He talk to me ?
I'd say, Grandma what is love ?
Will I ever find out ?
Why are we so poor, what is life about ?
I want to know the answers before I fall off to sleep.
She sort of smiled as she tucked me in.
Then she pulled up that old rockin' chair once again.
But tonight she was slightly, remarkably
Different somehow
Slowly she rocked, lookin' half asleep.
Grandma yawned as she stretched.
Then she started to speak.
What she told me, would mold me, and hold me
Together inside.
She said all the things you ask
You will know someday.
But you have got to live in a patient way.
God put us here by fate
And by fate that means better days.
She said, child we are all moons in the dark of night.
Ain't no morning gonna come 'til the time is right.
Can't get to better days lest you make it through the night.
You gotta make it through the night, yes you do.
You can't get to no better days
Unless you make it through the night.
Oh, you will see those better days
But you gotta be patient.
(Be patient) oh baby, be patient.
Later that year, at the turn of spring,
Heaven sent angels down and gave Grandma her wings.
Now, she's flying, and sliding, and gliding
In better days
And although I'm all grown up
I still get confused.
I stumble through the dark
Getting bumped and bruised.
When night gets in my way
I could still hear my Grandma say
I can hear her say,
I can hear her say.
You can't get to no better days
Unless you make it through the night baby.
(Be patient) Oh, you will see those better days
But you gotta be patient.
Child, do you hear me, yeah.
You can't get to no better days
Unless you make it, you got to make it
You got to make it
You got to make it through the night
Oh Grandma, oh Grandma
Do you see me now, lady
Oh oh oh oh oh
She used to sit me on her knee
She used to comb my hair
She used to tell me stories
My Grandma took me everywhere
She pronounced every words perfectly. Those who do music covers take note of this.
And she did it without having to open her mouth much.
And english isn’t even her first language

What a vocal and techniques in spade!!! She really showing off her skills here. Simply amazing!
This song the lyrics is about Lola, hence not very romantic to some however in the 80s it’s like the benchmark for aspiring singers. The moment you can deliver this song as your own it’s magical. Your version if vocal gymnastic a perfect 10 and you “stick” the landing, truly you are a remarkable singer. Di ka pa pinapanganak alam an alam mo na how to score the perfect 10. I love you so much
Wow her enunciation of the words is so clear. Ganda pa ng boses. Not the usual birit voice. May "angas" yung voice.

luar biasa versi nya Gigi De Lana , TOP!! versi aslinya ngebosenin (GIgi's version is the best ) Sorry D Reeves
This young lady has the most clear diction of this song !
I thought it was a romantic song, ngayon ko lang nagets yung message ng song. It's a story telling song bout her grandma, and gigi gave justice to this song 💜
me too. i know the song but not the meaning of it. thanks to gigi!
Gigi did an amazing cover for this song but I’m legit confused on why I see so many comments saying they didn’t know what the original song was about until Gigi sang it. Really? Maybe you weren’t trying to understand the song when Diana Reeves sang it? I’ve always understood the meaning of the song. Shes speaking very clear English.
Same same.. nung binabasa ko yung sub lyrics chaka ko lang nalaman kung saan pertain ang song na ito 😅

Regretting that i've been sleeping on gigi.
I always see them in suggestions and i kept on ignoring them.
Diction, enunciation, pronunciation.. perfect.. the future is bright for Gigi..
I have heard this song like a million times before sung by different artists but hearing GIGI's version this is the first time I got to understand the lyrics so well. I didn't know that this song has a lot to say it's beautiful, meaningful, and full of wisdom. "LIVE IN A PATIENT WAY, GOD PUT US HERE BY FATE, AND THE FATE THAT MEANS BETTER DAYS". What a beautiful lyrics God bless all grandmas &grandpas out there specially to my grandma&grandpa in heaven 🙏🙏🙏 I think this is my favorite song now ❤❤❤
same ganda ng delivery nya dito super perfect i love this song now

I believe shes the top vocalist in the Philippines (the land of great singers) right now. And thats saying a lot.
One of the best in world forsure.
Here we go again: another Gigi Vibes cover that is better than the original. Gigi gives an absolute master class in singing with all her different textures and tones, perfect diction, story-telling, and emotion. Certainly, Better Days to any who experience this video. :)
Dianne Reeves is of my favorite contemporary Jazz singers and when I came up on this video of Gigi and her band covering covering one of my favorite songs of hers I was at first skeptical. I gotta say that this woman is more than your average cookie cutter pop stars that may be good but don't stick out from the pack of great singers from the Philippines. This woman and her band nailed it! She needs to go Global! All her other videos I went through of hers are all top notch. Such a versatile voice. Female vocalist have to be at the skill level (in thier own way) of Chaka Khan, Vesta Williams, Ella Fitzgerald,... that have that special presence to impress me and this woman has that , "blow me away" presence. Very few modern day female singers do it for me with their sleepy chipmunk voices trying to over do more soul than they have. Gigi has so much skills that she needs not have to over-soul the listeners to death like a runner up in American Idol. She sings on her own terms and kicks ass!!! And her back up band plays perfect too! Simply an awesome singer with raw talent and no gimicks! 👍
GIGI! IF YOU'RE OUT THERE.... YOU NEED TO DO A COVER OF CHAKA KHAN'S, "AIN'T NOBODY!!!"🎵🎵🎵🎵
Gigi you got a great identifying style that is extremely commercially marketable ! You need a good publicist agent/manager and attorney! The most important factor of all is a clear strong relationship with your Heavenly Father! Without him to guide and protect you…. the industry can destroy you. You got a awesome sound with great musicians! I wish you were here in Miami your crew would blowout this town!
Philippines best singer at least the way I see it

omg, better than original.
Silver gray hair neatly combed in place.
There were four generations of love on her face.
She was so wise, no surprise passed her eyes,
She'd seen it all.
I was a child, oh, about three or four.
All day I'd ask questions.
At night I'd ask more.
But whenever; she never, would ever, turn me away.
I'd say how can I be sure what is right or wrong ?
And why does what I want always take so long ?
Please tell me where does God live
And why won't He talk to me ?
I'd say, Grandma what is love ?
Will I ever find out ?
Why are we so poor, what is life about ?
I want to know the answers before I fall off to sleep.
She sort of smiled as she tucked me in.
Then she pulled up that old rockin' chair once again.
But tonight she was slightly, remarkably
Different somehow
Slowly she rocked, lookin' half asleep.
Grandma yawned as she stretched.
Then she started to speak.
What she told me, would mold me, and hold me
Together inside.
She said all the things you ask
You will know someday.
But you have got to live in a patient way.
God put us here by fate
And by fate that means better days.
She said, child we are all moons in the dark of night.
Ain't no morning gonna come 'til the time is right.
Can't get to better days lest you make it through the night.
You gotta make it through the night, yes you do.
You can't get to no better days
Unless you make it through the night.
Oh, you will see those better days
But you gotta be patient.
(Be patient) oh baby, be patient.
Later that year, at the turn of spring,
Heaven sent angels down and gave Grandma her wings.
Now, she's flying, and sliding, and gliding
In better days
And although I'm all grown up
I still get confused.
I stumble through the dark
Getting bumped and bruised.
When night gets in my way
I could still hear my Grandma say
I can hear her say,
I can hear her say.
You can't get to no better days
Unless you make it through the night baby.
(Be patient) Oh, you will see those better days
But you gotta be patient.
Child, do you hear me, yeah.
You can't get to no better days
Unless you make it, you got to make it
You got to make it
You got to make it through the night
Oh Grandma, oh Grandma
Do you see me now, lady
Oh oh oh oh oh
She used to sit me on her knee
She used to comb my hair
She used to tell me stories
My Grandma took me everywhere
