Absolutely sick..what a divine work this track, these lyrics, the energy in the sad thoughts and especially the poetic way of presenting the truth to your inner bastard is so intense....I don't feel it just because that's exactly what everyone does I already had it, but I'm just living through it...the track gave me food for thought in my confusion caused by love...I have to take the first step. Despite countless losses and now a lot of missed moments again....I love these. I came across them for the first time today and will now treat myself to everything these geniuses have designed...love to everyone who lives good music.
Other than this video on UA-cam I am having a hell of a time finding this song. I hope it stays up here for along time. One of my favorite songs of all time n
Love's strange, bee sting, what a fool I've been. Serpentine, lives unwind, trees sing, flowers cry. A fronter town, carpet brown, picking gold, raining down. This time I do it now but I'll fast forward to a better spot now. I can go back later I remember the place but it's not so easy to erase a pretty face. Erase a pretty face. A pretty face. Hand on mind all this time unraveling this ball of twine. Butterfly back, climb thru paths, not too slow, not too fast. Perfect place, pretty face, nice place for a rattlesnake. Perfect place, out of face, a good day to make a mistake. Each time and I do it now - fast forward to a better spot. Go back later I remember the place but it's not so easy to erase a pretty face.
I was asked some time ago by someone who had listened all the stuff that was made by MORPINE, if I knew anything what sound like them. Usually you can find something, some similarities, but in this case it was so difficult, I could not say I know anyone who would play the way they did, who would be able to express so much emotion as they did.
I too love morphine and my project AnE on label faded lamentable is very much influenced by morphine. Especially the track "you took me in". It's on my space if anyone fancy's a listen. Cheers. RIP Mark.
Memories.....Illegal drugs, black lights, music turned up so you could feel it vibrate through your whole body and my woman..Sex that you NEVER FORGET...Memories
@detecveca Its on 'The Sandbox', which is the first time I'd heard it as well, despite being a Morphine fan since 92.. no idea if it was ever published prior.
If you do find a band this original, ground breaking, and innovative and non commercial sounding let me know.....I am always looking for something "off the wall" and unique. But there is only ONE Morphine.....
@themordamoja Les Claypool has stated in DvD extras Sandman's influence on him and his musical stylings is how i know of this! Not sure Nicky's connection to their scene though.
@detecveca i don't know when exactly it was recorded but i have it on "The best of 1992-1995" so it has to be in that period. yes, it's a great stoned up song..
@themordamoja If you haven't already..... Check out "A.K.A.C.O.D.". Morphine's band mates with female singer, Monique Ortiz. Pretty much all her stuff is "low rock". And of coarse Twinmen :)) Good Journey
i dont know it but it is only released in their Best of album as a bonus track. Morphine is one of my favorite bands and i think this is their best song ever. Very curious as to why it was not released at the time of its recording. But to me it sounds like it belongs to "The Night" recording sessions.

So dark and beautiful. Totally mesmerizing.
New favorite band I have absolutely blown up my favorites list with their music sad shame I found them to late to see them
What a song... The mood is really intense.
In my opinion the most morphine-like morphine song
Ambrosia ❤

Always thought it was love springs, bees sting.... Makes more sense.
What a painful groove. Bitterly magnificent.
Dana is dead saxy on this one. One of my all time favorite Morphine songs.
Actually Dana is alive it's the Sandman that is dead unless something has changed
This song has serious tempo, tone n mood! Love that roll lads..
Lovely track and Billy Conway is brilliant as mentioned. One of the drummers that plays for the sake of the song everytime, and he does it wonderfully
one of morphine's best. This definitely explains why they labeled themselves as "low-rock". Never fly too close to the sun.
The most beautiful...
My new favorite song...
Yeah, man. Morphine.
Yeah. man
Oh, yeah
Morphine by name, morphine by nature. You feel as if you have taken some when you listen to them it's so relaxing :)
every time i come to listen to this beautiful piece, i see this comment; and your first sentence gives me a blue smile.
Love. Absolutely, pure and amazing love.

Try some of the songs by A.K.A.C.O.D. Monique Ortiz on bass and vocals with Dana Colley from Morphine on sax.
Mind-blowing.... Absolutely addictive...Love it..
Thank you. I found it and now I can't stop listening to it.
too beautiful.. made me to listen it ceaselessly
Feels like moving forward.
this video introduced me to this band...thank you!

Simply beautiful
Billy Conway is so great on this track!
It's still happening. It never stops.
The most beautiful rock song.
such a beautiful song
Its a previously unreleased track that only came out on that 'best of' album.
"good day to make a mistake, oh....!" Whoa, man! ...been there.
Yessir.
Indeed. Un fukking it as we speak.
Wonderful.
Just awesome...
Ça déchire

This leftover could be the single of the best band of the moment...wait a minute...theres no new bands anymore!
Thank Klaus Dickscwab for that.
Ha?@@philyeary8809
@beelzebozos same here... excellent song! It has that southern sound aroma that I like. Anyway, new band for study!
If you do find a band this original, ground breaking, and innovative and non commercial sounding let me know.....I am always looking for something "off the wall" and unique. But there is only ONE Morphine.....
In actuality, it’s Jerome on drums. This was during The Night recordings.
Perfect

Tough finding a souce to download this track. Might have to purchase cd.
AWESOME !
This smells like cigarettes and that wet puddle on the mattress after a long risky night.

Love

Good Journey
Thanks for hipping us to new projects. Have twinemen cds but didnt know they went on afterward. Bless you .
Does anyone know where I can purchase this record?
Not On iTunes
Morphine are the reference. But there are still some pretty nice bands that deliver in the same style, like Colour Haze or Hypnos 69.
Could you tell me when this was recorded? I thought I have everything they ever made, and then I came across this song, and I love it.

Cool!
Melt music
omg what a crazy idea. buy the thing. the guys could use your money, seriously.
@themordamoja Les Claypool's Flying Frog Brigade does stuff occassional to this and Nicky Skopelitis' album Ekstasis: watch?v=NP-0KrRSbwc
@JEFFBURKE100 To the one who voted thumbs down, please stand up... Lay off the Hater-Aid
+1)
hypnos69 i guess but thats a stretch
stalkeru imaš top komentar hahah
so fucking suave
Actually I think Nicky might sound more like Frog Brigade than Morphine... they do have a lot of bass, but more of a Claypool sound than Sandman's
good song.
