Two words Single Rider!! My wife and I had no problem separating for some of the rides which meNt saving hours and hours of queuing combining this with a solid fast pass strategy we barely lined up for any rides and got to experience every bit of the park!
@@PetiteDeRae at Disney Sea the Indiana Jones ride and Raging Rapids definitely still have Single Rider queues, got to go on both two or three times with minimal queuing, so dont waste your fast pass on these two rides if you wanted to do it solo!
We were at Disneysea last Thursday and it was CRAZY busy, to the point where it was kind of exhausting dealing with the crowds all day. I wouldn't recommend going Christmas week, but that was when we were in Tokyo! The most popular rides had 2+ hour waits and sold out of Fastpasses early so we only did one of the real "E ticket" rides (Indiana Jones, which was awesome). Still a fun day doing the smaller rides and just wandering around seeing the amazing theming. My top tips based on my experience: 1) Get there EARLY. The earliest shuttle bus from our hotel got there at like 10:30, we should have taken the train in the morning. 2) Get a Fastpass immediately for a must-see ride with a long line (use an online line estimator, which you can find in English) then go to another must-see ride with a shorter line (lines only get longer and Fastpasses can sell out before you have a chance to come back). 3) Bring snacks. You'll get hungry walking around and the lines can be long even for churros and popcorn.
how long before would you recommend to buy them? im planning for November 2020 with 2 little kids and 4 adults. I really like to plan everything ahead :) should i get them once i arrive in Tokyo?
@@missconi1982 You can, though the tickets sold at the Disney Store are for specific dates. So if are going to be in Shibuya prior to your Disney days, you're set.
Regarding the Priority Access passes; we were trapped on an attraction during a break down for about 10-15 mins before we were evacuated so they gave me and my husband one each. We finally used them a few months later during our last trip to TDS and the CM there did actually ask us where we got it from. So yes please be aware of this :)
Tokyo DisneySea is one of the most amazing places I've ever seen! Can't wait to be back there in less than one month! Great tips - the parks can get super busy which can be a bit of a bummer. But being prepared helps a lot! :)
My top tip for Disney Sea (my favourite park) is: Skip the mad bull run in the morning for the Toy Story fast passes - unless you don't mind being crushed and really want to get on this ride. Instead, I would totally get the fast passes for Tower of Terror (which is usually quieter) and then make a beeline to Journey to the Centre of the Earth and hop in the standby line (still pretty short in the morning). I did this last time and it meant I did two of the major rides (ToT and JttCotE) before 11am, freeing up my time for the rest of the rides and shows. I was able to go back later in the day to try my luck with the standby line and managed to get a shorter wait time (about 2 hours)
I went to Disneysea last week and I used the disney app. I was able to enjoy the rides and shows without lining up too much because of the fast pass. One of the best days of my life!
@@reshmaupreti it changed so much after four years, I’ve visited there again this year and the app makes your day easier. I went to disneysea last august while on holiday in Japan. Thank You Paolo, this video made our day at Disneyland Tokyo so much easier yesterday. The fast pass hack was the best. Favourite ride was Space mountain and now wish I went a fast pass on that ride first so might have had a chance to go again. We only had to wait in one line that was longer than 20-30mins, Big Thunder Mountain about an hour, because we didn't get there early enough before the fast pass sold out. The robotics and holograms at this park were amazing. Thank you again.

additional advice: If you are really really in a tight budget, you can make your own obento. you can go out of the park (unlike in Universal Studios Japan) you can eat in the car if you have. that's what we do. unlike in USJ, you have no choice but to eat inside, no foods bought outside are allowed. we also bought our ticket in the konbini, 7/11 specifically. Didn't actually check the operating times for the day and ended up coming to the park one hour early. When I went in March Indiana Jones ride was like 20 to 30 minutes with single pass but Raging Spirtis was like 2 hours mainly because the operators where not putting on single riders and leaving the spare seats empty. Also note both of these rides have very short queue before midday as everyone is doing the closer to entrance attractions.

Actually a quick correction: Journey to the Center of the Earth is exclusive to Tokyo Disneysea, you probably were thinking of Journey into Imagination with Figment or possibly Test Track (As they both use the same ride system)
I have a tip for tourist to get cheaper tickets and safe. You can try to get tickets from sites like traveloka, i bought it there and it saves me around 300yen, you can get the ticket at the other exit of maihama station(not the disney exit). It is safe because the company that bought those tickets purchase "group tickets" which is actually cheaper. Also if you want to safe money but still eat disney foods, go to restaurants that sell burgers! it is not that expensive actually especially if you did not get the set menu! In DisneySea, foods in cape cod cook-off are not expensive (min. 500 yen i think) ! also you can eat while watching shows there !!!!! so it is a good deal. I hope those helps too!
5:33 I think you mean Disney World... Lol. I'd love to hear more about the Italian family-style restaurant. These tickets sound kind of cheap, at least cheaper than Florida's prices.
Love it! We just came back home to Hawaii from Tokyo and used all your videos to help us get around and for reference on what to do in each city we visited! So bummed though bc we saw on insta you were at Tokyo Disney like 2 days after we left and were in shibuya! Lol hope to run into you on our next trip! Thanks again for the helpful awesome vids!
Yayy for fast pass! But unfortunately I didnt get the toy story pass and its already long long queue since morning 😭. I was already tired from walking around disneyland the day before but still have fun at disney sea! And oooh how I love chocolate flavor popcorn ❤
I went in November 2017 and we were able to get on Indiana Jones and tower of terror multiple times. The wait time was super low. Also got to see the Christmas show and try all the Christmas food and drinks. Didn't even go to the restaurants lol I think we went on a Monday or Tuesday. We actually took the overnight bus from osaka directly there was super great!!!
This video got me thinking about enclaves of America in Japan. I know a lot Americans visit either because they had lived in Japan previously as part of the military service or presently know someone in the service. Could you do video about the Fussa area surrounding Yokota airbase? A lot of Americans stay around that area, with various food options that cater to a more American taste.
Hey Paolo! I've been watching your videos for a while now but I felt like I should leave a comment eventually :) I love your videos, not only are they super relaxing because of your excitement and friendly personality that really shines through, but also because they're really helpful. I've been to Tokyo a couple of times already but I didn't even know about half of the restaurants/izakaya/snack places or even the hacks for Tokyo Disney (Sea). I'll definitely print out your handy maps and visit all the recommended places to eat myself through the menu ;) Keep up the great videos! :)
Hi Paolo, I will be visiting Disney Sea this week with my 72 year old mother. Though she can walk long distances with no problems. The waiting usually makes her more tired. That being said, can I bring a small portable seat or stool inside Disney Sea? It fits inside my bag.
One frustrating tip, only certain foreign credit cards are accepted on the Japanese Disney web site to buy tickets. At least this is what I found. Tried my Visa, MC, and Amex to no avail. You have to have enroll your card with an additional level of security. To make matters worse, not all cards are enrollable. I even called customer service and they confirmed that most foreign credit cards are no longer accepted. So ended up buying tickets at the Shibuya Disney Store. Might actually be a better alternative since you get the actual ticket rather than a voucher which you have to turn in for a ticket.
The same thing happened to me! It was super frustrating. Also, their online ordering site doesn't work on mobile devices (and even if you brought your laptop on your trip, you need a printer for the tickets). We ended up just using the machine at Family Mart. It's all in Japanese but pretty easy to figure out, just look for the picture of Disneyland and look for the price that matches the ticket you want (i.e., the line labeled 7700 yen is the adult ticket). For some reason the guy at Family Mart didn't let us use our credit card there either, but we just paid cash. The tickets you get have a QR code so you can walk right up to the entry gates at the park.
Omg this video couldn’t have come out at a better time! I’m going to Tokyo by the end of this month and I’ve been watching a lot of your videos as a guide to plan my trip. Seriously, without your help, I wouldn’t even know where to start. So, thank you Paolo, from the bottom of my heart. 💗 (PS: I’m hoping I’ll bump into you in person when I’m there. Finger crossed.)

Thanks for watching Helen Sin!
I think they have that French restaurant at Disneyland in Florida, the escargot was delicious!
this hurt my brain as much as logic back in college. much appreciated
Subscribed!!! Super helpful video!!
yo pao! you forgot the single rider hack. saves you a lot in the wait time. i think the indiana jones and the temple ride are both can be accessed easily with a single rider lane :)
Going to Japan with my boyfriend in two weeks time! It’s our first trip together. I’m binge watching your videos to plan for our trip!
I do enjoy your blogs. New subscriber here. More powers
Thanks for this great video! Just one tiny correction - Journey to the Center of The Earth is unique to Tokyo and does not exist in WDW.
Yeah it's based on the track from Test Track in Epcot, but the story and theme are completely different in Tokyo.
R.D. Dragon isn’t it much shorter than Test Track? It felt like a really short ride.
1:40 Feb - March is not the busiest time because it's still very cold plus school holiday starts mid-March. Feb - March is only for uni student :) I like your videos! - Hachan from Japan
Hachan Reacts - 英語ブログ Vlogs may i know which months is the least crowded? which season is the best? ☺️ thank you in advance
@@widadzain742 I would say from Tuesday to Thursday in June and February :)

Thanks for watching Cyandie!
Wife & I love your videos! As long as you put Maiko in more videos of her saying "Itadakimasu" we'll keep watching!
Thanks Paolo, my prayers have been answered. Merry xmas
Thanks for watching Tam CW! Merry Christmas!
Another tip: Use the Single Riders line to cut in front of everybody!
When went, we did 3 days from Tuesday through Thursday, busy but not crazy.
5:33 I think you mean Disney World... Lol. I'd love to hear more about the Italian family-style restaurant. These tickets sound kind of cheap, at least cheaper than Florida's prices.
I went there last October and it was freaking fun Disney Sea love Japan!!!!💖
Thanks for watching Michele Higa!
Know this video will be helpful before I watch it because I went to disneysea last time I visited and planning to visit disney next year I go.

Wow, seeing this I just realised how "empty" Disneyland Paris is.
Tokyo Disneyland is the worst Disneyland ever it doesnt have any spin rides exept for dumbo
@@abandoned3317 they are more on attractions than rides
You are awesome! New subscriber here. Thanks for sharing all of your tips!
Best time to ride is during night electric parade since everyone will likely watching the show.
You’re an awesome 😎 UA-cam channel.
Love your videos Paolo!! We’re coming to Japan in a couple of months and can’t wait! We’ll be well prepared thanks to your channel 😊
Have an awesome trip
Yayy for fast pass! But unfortunately I didnt get the toy story pass and its already long long queue since morning 😭. I was already tired from walking around disneyland the day before but still have fun at disney sea! And oooh how I love chocolate flavor popcorn ❤

Thanks for watching Tranquil GlitterzPink09!
Thanks for the vid man!
Thanks for watching Uhhh Yea!
I just got back from Tokyo 3 weeks ago. This video would’ve been so helpful a month ago 😭
Now you'll have an excuse to go again and apply these new-found insider tips ;)
Huge help! Thanks, Paolo!
Hi! Your vídeos are gerar, Thank you! Are the fast pass steal available?
Journey into the center of the earth is only found in Tokyo. But there are rides like test track and cars which use the same ride system as that.
Is there an updated Disney video?
Please can you do an updated one when beauty and the beast and baymax opens? New subscriber 😊 thanks for your videos!
Was there last week, rainy day but wait time for tower of terror, Sinbad etc was less than 5 minutes.
Awesome ! Was waiting for a video on this from you. Can’t wait to go next May :) thanks !
Thanks for watching jasmine vlogs!
We went in August really busy. Great vid😎👍
Thanks tamiya frog!
Thank you so much for this video!!! Will be going Next year
Have an awesome trip Claudia Reyes!
Hi Paolo, I will be visiting Disney Sea this week with my 72 year old mother. Though she can walk long distances with no problems. The waiting usually makes her more tired. That being said, can I bring a small portable seat or stool inside Disney Sea? It fits inside my bag.
Damn! I didn't realize Paolo uploaded this video. Could've saved me few weeks ago when I went DisneySea.
Seems like this is way outdated too! Can u make an updated video pleaseee!! Love ur videos!! And Wolfie is the cutest kiddo everrrrr
That does sound frustrating. Good tip.
I will be going there June next year and I’m so excited 😆 and nowadays i keep watching your videos to plan my trip to Japan :D
Thanks for watching bbbomp!
ya a tokyo amusement park video; thanks so much
I wish I had known these when I went to Tokyo Disney Sea
Omg this video couldn’t have come out at a better time! I’m going to Tokyo by the end of this month and I’ve been watching a lot of your videos as a guide to plan my trip. Seriously, without your help, I wouldn’t even know where to start. So, thank you Paolo, from the bottom of my heart. 💗 (PS: I’m hoping I’ll bump into you in person when I’m there. Finger crossed.)
