Great video as always. Thanks for the detailed information. When I was there in Nov 2022, I bought Klook tickets, but had to print them and physically bring them to get in, and then scan them into the app AFTER I got through the turnstiles (as far as I knew/understood). Sounds like now you can add your Klook tickets before the day you enter, and just use the app to scan into the park and then immediately book your premier access, standby pass, etc. without any additional scanning. Is that correct?
October locked in - Vacation package and then 3 nights at Tokyo Disney hotel. Thank you for all your tips and videos! They’ve been a great help in booking and preparing.

As a fellow 外国人 it’s nice to see content about TDR that isn’t solely hyping up the Japan aspect. All the best!

My wife and I just visited TDLR this week and this video was published the night before our first day and was so helpful. We had an amazing time at the resort and can’t thank you enough for your help. A word of advice to everyone is that if you can afford the vacation package it’s well worth it. We were able to not worry about getting onto the rides we wanted, including unlimited access and rides to Fantasy Springs.
I enjoyed hearing about your suggested restaurants in both parks! I would love a solo video on what sit down restaurants you suggest/favorites! Or even your favorite quick service restaurants/ snacks stands in both parks!❤️

I just went this past February, i purchase tickets for Tuesday and Wednesday planning to avoid crowds, my god, it was super windy and cold, i arrive like 20 min before opening, and the amount of people trying to get in was just INSANE, you can barely walk inside, i can't imagine holidays and weekends, even like that, i just love the experience, beauty and the beast ride was the most crazy line i ever did in my life, 2.5 hours the first day, 3 hours the second one, but don't be afraid of crowds, you will enjoy the experience and its worth it, they organize everything pretty well, even with that amount of people making line to get food and all that was pretty smooth.
Thank you! We are visiting this late October to experience Halloween in Tokyo Disney!!! Because of you I was able to navigate and watch out how to book tickets and reservations! Much love. Hope to see you there!❤
😊This is a very cute and helpful video! We will be there from the UK in October and I can't wait. Thanks Chris these are great tips! Planning a trip for April, already have my flights and rooms booked. I hope to have you back on my podcast a month or so before then if you are free.

From what we can find there is a holiday March 20 and spring break starts around March 25/26 - any recommendations on when to go to the parks? We are planning on doing 2 days in each park!
Not a first timer but still loving all the tips obvi! We’re doing a VP (unlimited selected rides) this time, didn’t do a VP on previous trip so really excited! ❤
Vacation Package with Miracosta for 1 night then 1 night at Disneyland Hotel and 4 nights at Ambassador for the end of December. That's why I'm here thank you for this video! 😊
Hi!! So excited to have found you and your page! My fella and I will be at the parks for the first time ever October 2025 and I typically get a new Loungefly bag every visit, especially when I go to a new park. Do they sell them at those parks?
We got a great flight deal and booked without doing more research about the dates… lo and behold, it’s during Golden Week 😭 any advice for surviving Golden Week is appreciated!! Especially with the new Fantasy Springs area!!
Hello! Going to DL Toyko and DisneySea in a couple of weeks. Would love a 1-day itinerary for both parks - highlighting attractions/shows/food and the best way to use premier and priority passes. We are an intense family and love a challenge/competition. Don't like to lolly-gag. We are not staying at any Disney hotels but staying in Toyko Bay.
I’m so addicted to your channel even before I had any plans to visit TDR lollll Question: for restaurant reservations that become available at 9 AM do we need to be in the park and scanned in before we can make those reservations as well? Or can we do it without being scanned into the park? 😅😅 I feel like I am taking courses at TDR college, and you are the professor. This is such a process!!
The biggest mistake I've made when I visited in January this year was not checking the ride closures 😅 So disappointed when I found out Beauty and the Beast was closed. Don't make the same mistake as I did. Very important!
Hi Chris, first of all I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your great content. We are huge fans of yours and look forward to every video. We are so excited about Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea 😍. We will be in Tokyo in November 2025 and would like to prepare ourselves as best as possible for our first trip to Disneyland and would like to use your guide for the two parks. Do you already know when you will release this for 2025? Thank you in advance. ✌
Note on using wise start to transfer money well in advance to it, its not quick to get more money on it during your trip if you dont add enough. It takes many business days. Otherwise a great international tool to have with you.
Ive just booked flights for August next year...im excited and also want to puke with stress 😂😅 Great tips! I just want to make sure we enjoy everything and not get disappointed
I have a Question: it is allowed that you can bring your little Backpacks within the ride vehicle (for example between your legs) or do you have to put your backpacks in a storage? Thank you again 😀
Thank ypu so much for all the infornation, we are planning a trip for next uear and this is very helpfully. Just one question about the food (i can't find the answer) if there is some fodd that has some ingredient and you don't want it, can you ask it without it? For example (a burguer that has mayonaise and you don't want it) Thank you so much
I went to Japan 2 weeks before the golden week in 2023 and it was GREAT, very few local tourists in USJ, tokyo disneyland / sea (because all local tourists was holding back and preparing for golden week). I would highly recommend to go during that time if you can, I bought fast passes for USJ and it was a waste during that time. Unfortunately no, it’s a family trip and while I advised to avoid all weekends it has not worked out like that. So I’m trying to alleviate my stress by getting some knowledge first. I’m going solo Sat 19th, so hoping I’ll have some success with single rider lines? And the passes, yes 👍
@@TaniaBlackmore not a lot of people use single rider line in japan, because they usually comes in groups. So yes, single rider line will save you a lot of time. But not every attraction has it (I don't think USJ even has single rider line, only in tokyo disneyland and disneysea)
can you make a video for those of us coming for star wars celebration and who are also planning on going to tokyo disneyland, how much money should we bring? what areas should we stay away from, what things should people who are visiting japan for the first time know.
Hey! I've been binge-watching your videos about Disney and USJ and have a question that's both specific and, I think, fairly common. We're traveling to Tokyo for the first time from Seattle (PST time zone), and my family-myself, my spouse, and our two daughters, ages 10 and 6-will be hitting Tokyo Disneyland on our second day and Tokyo DisneySea on the third. Given the jetlag, we expect the afternoons to be rough, and since we can't avoid starting our days early at the parks, I'm curious if you have any tips for managing it. We've been to Disneyland in California and Disney World in Florida last year for Disney's 100th anniversary, so we’ve covered most of the classic rides. For Tokyo, we’re mostly excited about experiencing some exclusive attractions like the night show, Beauty and the Beast, and a few rides at Fantasy Springs. We’re also happy to use Disney’s Priority Access if needed and are familiar with the app. As a Chinese American who can read Japanese (though can’t speak or listen well) and communicate in English, I'm wondering if there are any designated areas for napping within the parks. Alternatively, is it feasible to enter the park early (thanks to jetlag), head back to our hotel near Disney for an afternoon nap, and then return around 5 or 6 PM? Thanks so much for your help and suggestions!😃
Great video! If there's 2 of us, we each go on the disney app at the park and one of us obtains a pass for Frozen ride slot in Fantasy springs. Can both of us go? Meaning, is that time slot good for 2 people? Thanks!
Thanks for this! Very helpful! You mention it's best to add our credit card to our Tokyo Disney account on desktop, but I can't find anywhere to do this. Help!
hi thanks for your tips, your videos are awesome. we booked a 3-day vacation package at toy story hotel. Can I book a disney hotel one day earlier before our vacation package so we can have an early pass on day 1 of the vacation package? thanks so much :)
Random! But speaking of adorable merch, I’ve had my eye on the hamburger pass holder for years, haha! Yes I know now I’ll have to go to eBay now, but with everything on the app and on phones, is there any (practical) reason (other than adorable) to have a passholder anymore?
Coming back to brush up when I visit! If anyone sees this could you help me out? 1. For Fantasy Springs, if I buy premier access to one of the attractions, does that give me access to the entire Fantasy Springs for the day? Or will I have to leave the area after I ride? 2. My friend will be coming for her first time ever at a Disney Park. We unfortunately only have 1 day. Which park should we go for? She will have the opportunity to go to Disneyland and World back in the US in the future if that helps. THANKS!!!
Seeing @flyingthenest on the Kook ad was cute. A great Australian couple. Chris, can you use 2 devices? So if I have my son and my own ticket scanned in on my phone, can he also have them scanned in on his phone?
About how many rides can you get done in a day? I'm used to the US parks and im wondering whether the amount I can do in tokyo will be underwhelming (it seems more packed there)
November come quickly please🤞Going to be there for 5 days (possibly an evening sunday too??? if we travel ok from Kyoto so we can buy an after 3pm entry park ticket) and staying at tokyo bay maihama hotel. I can't wait, I'm researching so much. Last thing I have to look at is DAS pass stuff
What are the "cool down" rules / times for uses DPA, Prioroity, and Standby passes? I know in the US you can only use these types of services again after a certain time.
Do you think there’s any chance journey to the center of the earth will reopen on the 12? 🥺 we’re literally going to Disney sea two days before it opens back up I had no idea 😭 I would move my day but we got the fantasy springs hotel for the 11th 😔
Hey! I'm a first timer headed to the park tomorrow and this was a big help. Thank you!! **QUESTION**: I can't figure out where/how to add a credit card on the web browser version of my account. Does anyone know how to do it? Thanks in advance!
Hi! We are planning to buy the premier access spots for the parades but my party has some wheelchair users. Anyone sitting behind us may not be able to see over the wheelchairs. Is there a designated viewing area for wheelchairs where we can all sit together like in the US parks?
Thank you for the tips especially the different passes. About the luggage transfers, we will be moving from Hilton Tokyo Bay to Keio Plaza after our Disney visit, any idea how we can get our luggage transferred? Thank you!
Is the priority pass allowance different for rides and parades? For instance when I first arrive in the park I could book a priority pass for say poohs honey hunt and electric parade at the same time? Or do I have to wait?
Hi Chris! Is it possible to purchase 2 park tickets for the same day, so we can enter both parks that day? How would timing work for that? Would it still be possible to enter Fantasy Springs if we didn't enter DisneySea right at the beginning of the day? Thank you :)
43:56 "are you ok?" Me, desperately having written this all down while crying: y-yeah I think so 🥲 (no but jokes aside: it's fascinating because in some ways, the system does feel parallel enough to Walt Disney World, my home park, that I'm used to the hoops and making sure we get a good spot for restaurants, etc; but it's JUST different enough that I feel I have to learn things all over again lol, so I REALLY, really appreciate your videos!!!)

Thanks!
Can you purchase additional priority access passes to rides to add on to the vacation package ?
Thanks for this! Very helpful! You mention it's best to add our credit card to our Tokyo Disney account on desktop, but I can't find anywhere to do this. Help!
How is the weather there? A lot of scary typhoons and earthquakes going on. Im so scared to go there anytime soon in case the megaquake happens.
hi
thanks for your tips, your videos are awesome.
we booked a 3-day vacation package at toy story hotel.
Chris your guidebook is a must! Do you think people can get into FS if they queue at 7:30? No more 3:30am lining up?
Vacation packages are so great for international guests
We love you!!! Popcorn Buckets!
Так сейчас же изменился vackation package. И с 1 апреля судя по всему зона Fantasy springs будет работать по общим правилам
THANKS!!!
1. You can stay as long as you like
2. DisneySea
Excellent video!
Seeing @flyingthenest on the Kook ad was cute. A great Australian couple. Chris, can you use 2 devices? So if I have my son and my own ticket scanned in on my phone, can he also have them scanned in on his phone?
Will be there 1 week
Lol Chris I went to Disneysea these two days and followed your tips, but the gate literally opened on time at 9 and I couldn’t get the frozen pass😅
Please let us know of upcoming changes in 2025 and 2026 so we can plan ahead. What rides are usually closed or how holidays are there
Do you think there’s any chance journey to the center of the earth will reopen on the 12? 🥺 we’re literally going to Disney sea two days before it opens back up I had no idea 😭 I would move my day but we got the fantasy springs hotel for the 11th 😔
24:35 whoever edited the video had "don't arrive late" as the video passed the White Rabbit statue 😂
Thank you!
Thank you for watching! I’m not sure so it’s best to ask the hotel directly.
Hi Chris, did you get that lost boys hat from Tokyo Disneyland?
Do you need to book standby/premier passes for all of the rides? Or is it just for the popular ones?
It's only select rides. The TDR website shows which ones or you can download the app and look there too. www.tokyodisneyresort.jp/en/tdr/app.html
Unrelated to Tokyo Disney, but do you know if you can use a Suica/Passmo card at Universal Japan?
Is the priority pass allowance different for rides and parades? For instance when I first arrive in the park I could book a priority pass for say poohs honey hunt and electric parade at the same time? Or do I have to wait?
Hello, Chris. Is there a size requirement for double stroller used in both parks?
Is Disney Japan the best (or one of the best) for someone who has never visited a Disney resort in their life?
Hi Chris! Is it possible to purchase 2 park tickets for the same day, so we can enter both parks that day? How would timing work for that? Would it still be possible to enter Fantasy Springs if we didn't enter DisneySea right at the beginning of the day? Thank you :)
going in 3 weeks!!!😊
Have fun!
When do you need to be online to book the restaurants from the USA?
43:56 "are you ok?"
Me, desperately having written this all down while crying: y-yeah I think so 🥲
(no but jokes aside: it's fascinating because in some ways, the system does feel parallel enough to Walt Disney World, my home park, that I'm used to the hoops and making sure we get a good spot for restaurants, etc; but it's JUST different enough that I feel I have to learn things all over again lol, so I REALLY, really appreciate your videos!!!)
