- Hi guy and welcome back to my channel! I am so excited to finally bring you guys this video that I have been waiting to make for over half a hear now. WARNING it’s LONG! Loved the video.. but I am so amazed you could hold on to those unopened boxes of art supplies as long as you did... I would have been tearing into them the minute they landed on my porch !!!

At first I was waiting to make individual videos of them but then we has a lot happen in our family so they just kept piling on and it was only recently that I felt up to coming back here and I thought this would be a good way to so that and also to clear my room of so many boxes 🤣

Meeee too! I love getting supplies from AliExpress and most stuff takes like 3-6 weeks to get here (US) so hanging onto all the little things that trickle in before doing a haul is TORTURE 😂

I wanted to open the things that were from there so badly but I wanted to do it for a video and I just didn’t have the time or energy 😅 but yeah I totally understand the struggle of the wait and wanting to rip into them 🤣💖

When I saw TWO AND A HALF hours of art supply unboxing I can't believe it, I looove this kind of videos and never crossed with one as long as this. I enjoy every second, well except the part when you rip the packaging jaja

These are things you obviously did not need! When I order art supplies, I still count the days till it arrives and barely have my shoes off before I’m ripping into the box🤪😜🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Super fun haul! That soap is amazing, definitely worth it. Also the short handled flat Princeton brush is the BEST wash brush, it’s been a long time favourite in my collection. I can’t wait to see your upcoming videos. 💜🙌
Oh man I'd kill for an art haul like that!! Aaahaahahhaa I've been teaching myself for the last several years and can't come close to all those goodies!! But I'd never be able to wait to open a box if I got one....I'd be waiting at the door opening it before they even walked a way ;)🤣 so many of those are things on my 'one day wish list' to try so it'll be fun to see you try them out!!

I love doing this, forgetting what I've ordered - it's like I get the dopamine rush of shopping twice, both when I place the order and when I open the delivery 😂 I try not to let them sit very long though, so I can still reasonably contact the store if something's not right.
Just a little note: the ArtGraf tailor shape blocks are actually pressed pigment, not tinted graphite. The name confused things for people (almost everyone I've seen who's bought them thought they were buying tinted graphite).
I want so much Roman Szmal, but I'm holding off for when they release their collection in tubes. Whenever that happens though, I'll be in a ton of trouble 😂
I got divorced 11 years ago and don't have family or friends so I buy art goodies all year and wrap them up for christmas and then forget what I've bought so I get surprises lol

I agree some of the huge boxes just had one tiny item. I really love that Jackson’s uses almost all recyclable paper products to pack their stuff 💖
Try using the Paul Rubens metallic paints on black paper it really shines then.

That soap is great and love my Neptune brushes too. I’d like to see how u like their sketchbooks with watercolor and guache. I like that square one but haven’t tried theirs. Now I want all that graphite 😆 nice haul
WOW!!!! I loved all your brushes, the japanese watercolors, those gold graphite pencils are beautiful, and that huge set of pastel pencils. Wow, wow, wow!!!

I thought that it was kind of cool that they went through all that trouble to wrap them up so carefully for you. Those are very expensive brushes, believe me you could go broke very quickly if you paid full price for them. 👍🏼 Have you ever wondered what erasers are made of? Having the right erasers for different jobs is very important to get the job done right without ruining your art piece. I loved those ART BOOKS, I was hoping that you were going to show a bit more of them and you did, thank you, SO NICE. I really enjoyed you going through these things with us more than I thought I would.❤️👍🏼😉
There are quite a few things that you’ve shown here that I really wish that you could demonstrate for us, to show us how they work, your opinion on them and how they turned out for you etc. That Watercolor book was nice, I loved it. Hey seriously, that would be a great idea for a semi- demonstration video and boy, how fun would that be for you and us? Those small black tablets would make great art cards to hand out small samples of your work. 💡 I was really amazed at how many things that you showed us that I had no idea even existed. I loved how you explained how to actually use some of them. Thanks for doing that. All of this is making me want to go to your site to check out your art works. ; ) 😉👍🏼 How are you going to store those small water Color blocks? I’m really curious about that. I have dealt with chronic pain for most of my life and my art is what gives me the most pleasure. I have all of these art supplies that I need to use, the same way.
I am going to start doing things and as soon as possible and I’m going to start living my life using these art supplies instead of just buying them.
I want you to do the same thing. I will start sharing my art and I want you to start sharing yours with me. I’m 68 but we could become a support system for each other in so many ways. We will bring each other up, we will boost each other and we can teach each other what we know. We can try, it may get hard but we can try. I feel you, I HEAR YOU, I KNOW HOW IT FEELS. I KNOW…..and sometimes that can be everything. I will try really hard, we will never get overbearing with each other, we can just be there if you need an ear, I know how to listen. I'm a beginner but I've bought about 60 watercolor paints and it's overkill 😅 it's too much choices, I'm starting to think about limited palette of colors to really learn how to use them 😅😅😅

I agree with you! I get overwhelmed with a lot of things at once but love getting new art supplies. It’s hard to choose what to use when you have a lot to pick from. I wish I had more time to dedicate to my art making as well. There’s never enough time to try everything and every medium is so different and interesting and I want to explore them all! I think limited color palettes are wonderful and they can be super inspiring and help you find a theme and give you structure. Even monochromatic painting is a lot of fun and I am looking forward to make more of it. That 15 Minute Masterpieces watercolor book looks fun! Those colored pencils in the books were cool! I get roped into the pretty presentation, too! I was wondering why they had shrink-wrapped that one book?! Unnecessary packaging drives me a bit nuts.

Those paint brushes 😂 I get the note. I bet they had ppl use knife or scissors to cut them and damaged the brushes. That plastic sleeve was to protect the big fluffy one.
And yeah those are really huge brushes. But the plus side is if you ever needed to buy one of those, they are like $10+ each! So good, if awkward haul

Magnificent haul! I'm especially interested in how you order from Amazon Japan. Is shipping expensive, and does it take a long time to deliver in the US? Japanese watercolors are the best. The Mozart paint is almost as good, if not as good, as the Kuretake. I use both a lot, LOVE them. Thank you for any response IF you have time. ( You'll be busy playing with all your goodies!)

So for Amazon Japan most things I have bought get sent via express mail and it takes less than a week to get to the US. You can find a lot of things there for less money even with the pricey shipping because they are cheaper to buy there and the Japanese Yen conversion rate is good against the US dollar right now. I recently got a new Kuretake set and hope to have a video on it soon :) Happy holidays to you!
the video is shaky its minimal but it definitely activates my motion sickness. Great video i really enjoy videos like this and this is really a huge haul.

@@AtomicJava it's shaky because camera is probably attached to your desk, it's shaking when you touch desk, maybe attach it to anything else like windowsill or

One good monthly artbox is the upcrate box,It's noch as expensive as others but very good and If you want to try a new medium every month,it's perfect🙂

Thanks for stopping by! At lot of it to be honest was that we had some bad health situations in the house with my daughter so ai wasn’t really feeling up to anything so I just kept saving them. At first it was hard but then I was so down I wasn’t even wanting to you know 😞

Ok, let's be honest. How much did you pay in total for everything.
Even if you didn't buy everything at once and it accumulated over a half year span, maybe still tell people that this actually had a big price tag on it 🤗.

It took a while to amass this stuff I think over half a year the stack sat and grew 😅
I tried to find your art in your channel to see the kind of art you’d do with these art supplies and it was very hard to find it.
When I finally did, my first thought was how everything you bought was overkill, since at this point cheap art supplies can be more economical for you and you won’t see much difference in your final product.
But if buying cool art supplies is your objective and it makes you happy, then I take back what I said and good for you! 🙂

While you can make the assumption of what “point” I’m in in my art, your view on this is, I am guessing, based on perhaps 3 videos I have posted here of my artwork. I am assuming that’s why you said it was hard to find it and that is by no means an indicator of what my skills are. If that is the case you are missing all of the information on the rest of my artwork not shown here, my art education and the years I have been making art and I wouldn’t dare make a comment like yours based on the little information you have. Also as art is super subjective and I have seen people literally swatch expensive art supplies on expensive paper, call it abstract art and sell it for a lot of money and those people also enjoy using expensive and having extensive art supply collections I am going to make the assumption, just as you did with your “assessment” of my skill level, that you are implying that only people who maje a certain type of art or have specific skills want to have nice pr copious amounts of art supplies. A small look at art haul videos on UA-cam will prove you wrong really fast. Thank you again for taking the time not only to watch this but other videos and for the comment, they all help my videos get seen!

jerrys has both blocks and pads i believe sketch books i have several, the stonehenge paper as i said is awesome paper both cold and hot press and inexpensive
Ohhh thanks for letting me know! I haven’t seen them on the big whole store but I will need to check the other Jerry’s thats a bit further away which is a traditional Jerry’s to see if they carry them!
@@AtomicJava i have those opaque gouache like paul reubena pastel pallette ong they are incredible , i bought irredescent medium from WN to make paint iridescent i found it when i was pricing iridescent colors which i love they say to add to water colors etc instead of water, i watched a video where the woman painted it on after mixing the paint with water and she thought they didn't perform well , doing it it the way WN says to use the medium haven't yet i'm trying to do 8000 things at one time so i will trying them aoon

I'm very interested interested in seeing your future video on your graphite review of your supply's as I bought one watersolutable pencil to try out .....altho what kind of sharpener do you have as I noticed you have alot of different pencil widths... pardon as I was also interested into the pencils that you said were like pental and were .07mm what are the individual colored pencils called emo/ eno???? Your pkding were very crunchy sounding lol... I also agree my jelly roll I was having problems with and switched over to Signo white pens kudos to be able to find the three different colors all together....lol so the good thing saw your whole video saw two different sharpeners but could you do small fast review on sharpeners you have like what you like and dont......🎨

They come in a range of colors in .7mm lead and are wonderful to sketch with. If you get them let me know how you like them. I have several pencil sharpeners one of them is a tiny Muji sharpener the other one is a Kum glass one and I also have a Milan sharpener with an eraser on the other end I really like. They are all great.
Love the Trojiten pencils such pretty colours where did you order them from?
I got those from Ebay but you can order them on blick I believe and amazon has them as well :)
Wow that's a whole lot of art supplies, would love to get your opinion on all of them after you've used them or even a demo. Why not a video per item? :) Also seen that you've started evolve artist, how has your progress been for far?
Great video, really fun to watch, but can you please fix the shakiness of the camera it makes one very motion sick.
Patty- I am a big fan of Kuretake. I have all of their colors, unless they have released new colors outside of the Art Nouveau set. Thank you for explaining the differences between them and Western made paints. There is a difference. I tried to look up the Philadelphia Art Museum you mentioned, but I can't find it. What is the name of it?
I love them as well 💖 I believe the Art Nouveau set might be their latest release. Have you seen that huge collector’s wooden set that has all of them? It’s so pretty 🥹💖
@AtomicJava I have all of them, but I built it up a little at a time. I think the wooden box is exquisite.
@AtomicJava yes I have. That is awesome. I bought them a few sets at a time, and then I got the larger sets. After I was complete, they came out with the wooden set. I'm still a big fan.
When I tried to order from Amazon Japan they wanted private banking information. I'm not going to turn that over to anyone, especially someone I don't know and out of country, so I didn't order from there. Did you have to do that?

I am so sorry! It was one of my first videos and my set up was so bad 😭 I had this secretary desk that my phone holder was attached to so it would wobble and shake like crazy. I've been looking forever for a pencil earse that has a thread to pull ...I think you called it a Mitsubishi but I saw it has uni on it so???? I'm gonna look at st Louis art store right???? Have you you' ve done the earser test video yet? I use stadler erasers but noticed I'm heavy handed it works good on computer sketch paper I bought as I just love to practice and sketch things and I felt I could afford computer paper check as per at 500 sheets versus a single sketch book as I'm just in my second yr of learning I'm okay with doing things this way but my earser cant go from computer paper to watercolor and on my WC arches it digs into the paper but on strathmore paper it does okay for me so I'm wondering how the Mitsubishi earser works on different paper as my funds are limited I get frustrated when I cant get what I need than I ffg ind a video like yours and and as a artist you know that different paper and different pressure of hand strokes can affect your paper thank you for showing us your supply as I can see what I can purchase in future..I also like the aquaboard..could you do a video on that I'd pe interestedto see if they'd do okay in a bathroom after they been painted and sealed..okay I like the pencils that are in container that look like books very well done in pkging..as a horticulturist heres a easy way to maybe get rid of bugs on your plant try to find a lady bug and put it on your plant sometimes they will attack the bugs and eat them if you cant find the oil which is fine also but sometimes supply's are low plus your daughter might have fun together looking outside for a ladybug...plus I cant buy all these supplies and I'm gonna live vicariously thru your purchases.....mikelle by mom👩🎨🎨
Hi Marc! I haven’t done the eraser video yet I started working full time again (I am a teacher) and barely have time I apologize but I will try to make more videos including that one soon. For watercolor paper I recommend getting a kneaded eraser that you can use to sort of pat the parts you need to erase and it will pick it up instead of rubbing the paper with a traditional eraser that might make the paper lose its texture or pill. how were the Jacksons watercolor sketchbooks?
Hi Meka! I really wanted to like them but the paper is so bad :( the paper is thin and the texture is odd and if you try to lift a mistake or something it eats away the paper. I am probably just going to use for swatches which is what I have on there so far and like one illustration. I don’t recommend them at all.

That’s what I thought too! I see do many art supplies on sale on Ebay in lots that seem to be store rejects that were dumped.
What is Gouache? Is it a brand name for acrylic paints
Hi Sandy sorry it took me a while to reply my life is a busy mess atm! So gouache is a water based opaque and matte paint so basically its like an opaque watercolor in the sense that they are water based and can be used just like watercolor from a very thin wash to some very flat/matte thicker layers. There are many brands of gouache with some of it being artist quality and others what is called designers gouache. Winsor and Newton designer’s gouache is my favorite. There is also acrylic gouache which in reality is matte acrylic paint. This kind of gouache is water soluble but it won’t be reactivated once it dries like regular gouache will. I hope this helps 💖☺️

Those holbein gouache... I want them so badly but they are so expensive my godness 😢
I knowww 😞 Sometimes you can find them on Amazon Japan for a more reasonable price especially if the Japanese Yen is lower in value than the dollar so I recommend you check there because they are super pricey on US art stores :(
Why is the table so wiggly... Its making me naseous, i honestly wanted to finish the entire 2 and a half hour vid but I just couldnt. In any case the art supplies were wonderful, thanks for sharing the unboxing with us.
I do apologize I wish I had waited to film this until I had a more stable desk it was wiggly and it moved the camera a lot. Please stay tuned for my next ones as I now have a new studio and I am hoping to film less nauseating ones 😅 I feel terrible about the wiggle!
