Regular woodworking person- makes a clamp rack attached to a wall.
April- I can make it better, bigger AND mobile. And with attachments. That are removable.
You are definitely the queen when it comes to coming up with projects and utilizing every square inch of space so it doesn't get wasted! I love watching your videos as they are very inspiring!

We all can tell that you love doing what you do and that means you'll never work a day in your life! Alot of people aren't that lucky. I'm glad that you do all these videos, because you give me some great ideas and one day I'll have a garage workshop so I can do what I love. 🙂 Looking forward to seeing your next video.

I'm building one of those plywood dollies for myself. A sheet of 3/4" is about all I can handle anymore.
Imagine how many clamps you'll have when your 65 years old ! Plan to build another clamp rack some day. You've got a heck of a start on a quality collection of clamps and you can figure having at least the same amount when you get your metal fab shop going. This video was crammed full of great ideas and now I,m stomping on the like button , only because I don't have access to a love button.👍

April this was one of the best clamp racks I have seen! I have been looking at all of the different clamp racks on the net out there. And in my opinion this one is at the top. I will be building a smaller version of this. Thank you for all you do for our craft.

Love the rack! - For the Paper rolls, you can slot the dog ears from the top to the holes. Because you will always apply downward pressure when rolling out paper, the rod will never come out. To replace a roll, you then simply have to lift the rod up, replace the roll and away you go. Great job April.

If you want, check out another great shop helper I found and use to move sheet goods onto the table saw. It is named the "Leg Up" and clamps to the left side of the front edge of the table saw and allows a person all by themself to easily slide a full sheet of 4X8 material onto the saw for cutting. It would work seamlessly with the hercules dolly you use to move sheet goods around the shop.
I am not a small man and have hefted full sheets of material around my entire career but now, being in my late 60's I do love to have something that makes it a easier task and saves me wear and tear. You can find video's on UA-cam about the Leg Up and might find it worth checking out. Keep up the great content and I look forward to meeting you again.

Love this build. Way to think big picture and add accessories. I have all my clamps hanging on a wall, but as we all know, wall space is too valuable to waste on things that can go elsewhere. Plus, making multiple trips to and from your clamps is inefficient. I’m super inspired to make something very similar to this. Thanks for all the great ideas, April!

That’s a great hack on the Rockler clamps. I’ve seen other videos where long pieces of lumber were inserted into similar aluminum clamps to help stiffen them up. You could do something similar just at the newly cut end to prevent your notch from opening up over time and weight.

Last year, I attached a similar glue rack (nowhere as nice) with pipe clamps to my wood rack. I had a hinged 2x4 pop out about a foot below the hinge to push the lower section outward. The glue drips away, but it was more to prevent me from having to bend over due to a bad back. My suspended pipe clamps are all 5 feet long. I also use it for sawing large sheets of plywood. I couldn't afford anything as fancy as yours, so I have a hodgepodge of mismatched clamps. I love your system and dream of having a shop your size to play in. Nice build April!

I've had castored racks for most of my wood working career. My racks were screwed straight to the wall. But I like the portable clamp rack. I like yours better than the Infinity Clamp Rack. I have a gluing rack the holds the clamps in the rack while I drop the project boards into place and glue them up and clamp. I have to rebuild this item after 25 years of use. New shop soon. Like your work.

great video you do awesome work and ideas. for your craft paper and wax paper roll make it quick and easy to refill is just notch the supports so the bar just drops in and lifts out. you will always be pulling down on them so the rolls wont fall out. Save the wood from being torn up over time being unscrewed and screwed back in. Love the new shop too.
