Crosscut Sled for Table Saw - MICROJIG dovetail clamps

- Todays build is two crosscut sleds for the table saw. The first one is for 90 degree cuts and the second is for 45 degree bevels specifically for making boxes. Both sleds use the Microjig matchfit clamp system and have Kreg T track and flip stops. I decided to use hardwood runners instead of aluminum to see how they hold up. I think the hardwood is more readily available than the aluminum sometimes.

very nice video!!! Thanks for the great idea to use the saw kerf to line up the fence to make it straight
Thanks. It’s as square as the tool I use to check square. 👍👍
@@CunninghamWoodWork I need to get me some of those woodpecker squairs I have the mini one but need bigger ones
Great video Chris! Love all the features 👌🏼👌🏼
Thanks. It’s all about safety and accuracy.
Very nice set of sleds!! 🙌🏼
Thanks Frank. Definitely a must for the new table saw.
@@CunninghamWoodWork for sure!!
Nice job on the sleds buddy! I hate to admit it, but after all of these years woodworking I still haven't built a proper sled 😂 Maybe I'll get around to it someday.
Thanks Mike. If I had not done the video I could’ve made these in an afternoon. They are so helpful and safe for smaller parts too.
Looks great, Chris! Nice work!
Watching now!
Now all I need is a manly table saw.
Yes. Yes you do. 😁👍
I put a dado in the bottom of my sled to accept the hardwood runner. Glued and screwed with forstner counterbores in the runner.
I’ve seen that done since making this sled. Probably add to the next one 👍👍
why so much dust when you cutting, your dust collection not running?
It had a clog at the beginning of the video. I fixed it. 👍👍
Do it yourself, visit the Stodoys website and find out how.
I googled stodoboys and my Mac crashed.
