I almost cried when i heard this, it truly felt like i was playing the true sequel to Symphony of the Night. The Castlevania Spirit is strong with this one
One of the best tracks in the game for me. The violins convey a fantastic sense of scale, given you are ascending a giant tower. Almost as if you can feel the freezing winds that come with such perilous heights.
It is crazy that I have not ever played a Castlevania game before. I heard about this game from a friend and watched the trailer for Bloodstained Ritual Of the Night. When I heard part of this track, I had to buy it. I have no regrets. The gameplay felt rewarding for all the farming you can do. Hands down, the best soundtrack in the game is this track right here. Violins, piano, and a killer drumming track all melded into one.
@@scottshamblin6251 you're doing yourself a disservice not playing the DS castlevanias and SOTN if you enjoyed this one! Few years ago I bought all three of them for the DS I haven't touched in god knows how long, safe to say the games kept me playing for _quite a while,_ they are pretty timeless even for the DS, and SOTN for either PS1 or PSP is just as exhilarating, probably more so since you have more actions at your disposal (and all of the sprite work for all the games are very detailed and gorgeous!) Oh and if you love the music, you will definitely love the Castlevania music, you can even find the OSTs on youtube!

I literally finished playing the entire Ys franchise right before I tried out Bloodstained so this comparison caught me so off guard, and it's so true that this one has such huge Ys vibes (plus, Ys' soundtracks are some of my favourite vgm soundtracks ever)
I'm learning this piece in violin! I practice 15 minutes to 1 hour everyday! I'm a novice player but my sound it's getting amazingly good and close to the original! ♥ Love this masterpiece!

I think there's one track from a Cold Steel game called "To Be The Foundation of an Era" that also uses this trope (and also shares the same key too!), as do many others across Falcom's various games.

I mean it does have more of an adventurous yet classy and romanticized anime sound with some light classical influence, while Michiru's works utilize the classical sound a lot more. No wonder then, and yet I still needed to see the composer's name in order to realise this isn't her work. Also this 0:08 part of the main melody phrase sounds like Megaman 9.
A lot of tracks in this game feel that way. Compare any of them to something out of say, Lament of Innocence or Curse of Darkness (which of all the CV games these sound most similar to) and you'll notice that those games have heavier drums and/bass and even throw in the occasional guitar here and there. Here its just like you're waiting for some awesome high point in the song that just never comes.

Ryusuke Fujioka, the MVP in Bloodstained's music. All of his compositions are the best in the game, hands on.

Nope, she didn't compose this. This was Ryusuke Fujioka's work, and IMO he is the best composer in Bloodstained.
