Great vedio. I used to live in Brighton and hove between 1975 and 1980 while I was studying in Sussex. All has charged, however it brought back good old memories of Brighton. Thank for taking me down the memory lane ❤
Hi again @humayunkabir9279, it's our job to make you feel like you're back there again, albeit with so many changes. We do have a few more Brighton videos ready to go up, so hope they might do the same. Thanks for taking the time to say hello.
Well you're welcome BIAF, we plan to bring you many more of this special town, and hey it gives us a good excuse to keep revisiting. All the best to you mate.
@@WildPeonies26 Where are you based? we're in Leigh on sea when we're in the UK, so only a couple of hours away from Brighton. We'll def' be visiting more I think, we love it more each time. All the best to you.
Hello there, do drop by with your thoughts about Hove and Brighton. Do you, or did you once live there, do you like to visit, or is this an introduction to Brighton and Hove? We do enjoy hearing from you and will always take time to reply.
Thanks Yvonne & Mike ☺ I've never visited the south coast of England believe it or not & the architecture did seem quite different to "up North". One thing I noticed was it was very unusual not to see a single Indian restaurant along Western Road, as there was an abundance of Mediterranean / Middle Eastern eateries. I loved that you stopped to show Western Pavilion as that is such a unique building! I guess you're used to "calhau" beaches what with Madeira & all! I'll try & catch your Joyful Brighton video over the weekend. The fact that you'd hashtagged Bald & Bankrupt made me chuckle lol! 🤣 Enjoy the rest of the your weekend my friends 🤗
Hiya mate! ah so you've never visited the south coast of England, you'll have to get on down here and meet up sometime in ol blighty. Quite agree that the architecture is very different to "up North", especially with this being a regency town. Yes, strange not to have an Indian restaurant along Western Road, and more Mediterranean & Middle Eastern eateries. I think it was just that area, as there's plenty for sure in Brighton. I plan to do quite a few narrated walks through Brighton, as it's not so far from us in Leigh on sea. Ah yes, good old Bald & Bankrupt ... did you know he's a Brightonian? Looking forward to being back in lovely Madeira from Sunday and seeing our new pad there. Wish you could join us. We'll be dropping by to your channel later to see what's what.
@@LivingWalks Aww I'm so envious of you being back on the Pearl but mind those fires as I've heard they've become quite rampant what with stretching from Ribeira Brava to São Vicente sadly. I never thought where Bald was from to be honest, but he piqued my interest when he was in Bangladesh with Backpacker Ben & rode a train roof which was rather dangerous but fun! I guess I'll have to take early retirement & tour the south coast of Ol' Blighty!
@@RuePhoto Ah yes, our friends live in Ribeira Brava, I'm sure they'll be feeling very sad about the fires. Ah good old baldie, we saw the vid of him in Bangladesh with Backpacker Ben on the train roof, he does tickle us! We watched your latest in full last night btw... You naughty boy!! Enjoyed it all and really loved the drone shots, especially the evening one, pretty spectacular.
I've lived in Hove for over a year now ever since I moved from Malaysia to study here, wonderful and amazing place to live in, I am confident enough to call it my second home!
I used to visit friends in Brighton. It's just as pretty as I remembered it, except that I seem to recall it as being hilly and with narrower roads. Maybe that's in another part of the city?
You're right on all counts @emman.8655, the area around about can be quite hilly and there's lots of narrower roads and little lanes closer to central Brighton. You'll see we have a walk in those areas too, so that might bring back a memory or two. Thanks for dropping by.

Ah Joanne, you're a fortunate one indeed. I perfectly see how you feel that way. I always find it a hard place to leave.
Ah, a grand and perfectly eccentric city. I'd be pretty happy to call this place home. Thanks for reminding me how endearing it is!

Thanks for posting another lovely sunny walk. Brighton is always enjoyable.

Ah @@WildPeonies26 I think I remember you telling me you were in NZ now. When we're in the UK we're across the water from Kent in Leigh on sea.
Damn! I miss those places. I miss the sound of seagulls.
There's a haunting quality to their cries isn't there? You certainly know you're by the sea...
