No like literally this show has had so many characters who I despised at first and somehow they make me really love them. Like it takes some talented people to make that happen.
This series had a ton of characters that are annoyin as hell at first and the random fan service shots are just disgusting but it gets really good later on so I hope she does not mind it that much.
@0mthing801 lol I wouldn't even say the fan service is "disgusting". I've seen shows that have women gush out of their clothing with unwarranted quality animation. Fairy tail has odd angles and shots that leave little to the imagination, but at least it's not zoomed in with full jiggle animation

Right ? If i can give my personal list of some of the character that i despise at first and fall in love after :

1)Jellal obviously , probably in my top 3 favourite character of the series , i will love too see more screentime of him and some cool fight (for me unfortunately he get the Mira threatment , cool as f but with very few/short fight )
2)Gajeel , i think him , Wendy and Lucy are probably the best character development of the show , Gajeel start with being a very asshole and became a badass man with a soft side that he didn't scare of show others especially with Levy ❤.
3) Laxus , i think him was my most hated character for the first 50 episodes , i find him very cringe , now he his another of my favourites , and at least the give him cool fights .
4) Minerva , she is the character that i hated most from the GMG and Tartarus , after the backstory i finally understand why she is the way she is , and now at least i find her cool (not my favourite but i like her) .
5)Ultear , i think everyone would hate Ultear just from the fact that she use Jellal (which ruined Erza childhood even more) , she try to manipulate Lyon from releasing Deliora , she try to manipulate EVEN Gray , and she try to "release" Zeref , but again when she reveal her backstory i definitely feels something , and i think that i would do the same in her situation (i would probably try everything from reviving my mother) , and finally in the GMG she save literally the world at the cost of her life (at least most of her life 😂).
Other mentioned of character that at first hate and now like are : Irene , Hades/Precht , Meldy , Sting .
Obviously there are character that i continue to hate like Brain , Jiemma , Acnologia (i would love to see some good backstory from him , like Zeref my GOAT but no) .
And obviously there are character that i loved from the start like the main cast , most of Fairy Tail , Mavis (Fairy Tail Zero beautiful backstory) Zeref (probably one if not the "villain" which i can understand more of why he does what he does) .
Zamber: He wanted to kill half the people in the guild.
Laxus used Fairy Law, a spell that annihilates everyone the caster views as an enemy, yet it didn't harm a single person. For all his posturing he never really wanted to kill anyone.
So Zamber, if not Laxus, then who would you want to be the fourth master if Makarov can't remain in the position?
God Slayer Magic is actually a thing and not just a title. It's similar to Dragon Slayer Magic, but meant to use against gods. They are similar because their are tied to their respective element, but while one can feed on the element of the other, the opposite doesn't happen on a normal basis... unless one does what Natsu did, something that is extremely dangerous due to be life threatening. So... yeah, one of the Seven Kin was apparently defeated... but Zancrow was not even the most dangerous of the bunch... even if he is the most deranged and cockiest.
i guarantee Zancrow lacking in training to make himself stronger since he`s too arrogant and overconfidence to become one of the strongest..that`s his mistake
@@eizy1010true. God Slayers are literally stronger than Dragon Slayers but the difference was how to utilise it's powers to fullest. Even a Dragon Slayer can't defeat God Slayer due to power and attribute difference because God Slayers was created to defeat Gods since their movesets are based from the Gods in the mythology.

The Arc ends with episode 122. So you got a little over 3 more months of this arc. After that… everything changes. The happy 😊 and the sad 😢.

The first time we see a slayer that isn't a dragon slayer.
And it ain't gonna be the last time either.
In the future episodes, you will know that there will be another God Slayers to be introduced.
I didn't realize this was a double reaction til the second episode started, i was pleasently surprised.
Also, random fact: my mom liked Laxus cuz she thought he was hot. Literally, the only reason she didn't hate him at any point despite all that happened... is that he's hot. I dont think i ever saw my mom having an anime crush, but Fairy Tail handed a few ones, and i'm not even surprised, i could make a FT crush list.
God Slayer magic is in the name, used to defeat gods. Admittedly, Gods in FT are not really well defined with clear parameters and don’t feature in a huge role unlike the dragons (with like 2 or 3 exceptions in the whole series).
The upcoming battles/matches are some of the best in the series, so I can’t wait!

The fight between Natsu and the “godslayer” was pretty badass like the fact Natsu was able to eat his flames was so cool. When it comes to Capricorn if I remember correctly there is a specific reason why dealing with capricorn would be tough on Lucy. It’s been awhile since I’ve watched the show and that element I kinda forgot about but I don’t wanna say if it is the reason cause it’s either true or I’m remembering it wrong.
I'm pretty sure the designs of the small fry Grimoire Goons are used as the standard enemy wizard models in the video game
God slayer magic WAS created to defeat gods. However since it's considered lost magic it's quite rare.

Hey have you thought about keeping it at two episodes a video then sometimes doing three. There are so many fairy tail episodes you might want to consider it if your able to do it.
I actually tried too awhile back. I had a 'like goal' on one of my fairy tail videos. Sadly, not enough people seemed to be interested in me doing more fairy tail. I do enjoy doing them, but the most I can promise is a ''double reaction' once a month, since not enough people seem to enjoy me watching fairy tail :(

There's gratuitous fan service, which is fine and fun when things are silly and the stakes are low, and then there's intrusive fan service, which is focusing on how callipygian Lis and Mira are when a bad guy is about to actually try to hurt them and we're meant to be taking it seriously. This is one of my favorite Fairy Tail arcs, but it's really where they started going back and forth over the gratuitous/intrusive line.
Me on Zamber: He was the successor after all. If you didn't know who invented the 👆 sign and the meaning behind it, it was Laxus who invented it and the message that signals the coming of him when the guild is in trouble. I'm not spoiling anything. I understand that you still hate Laxus but you will change your mind after 13 episodes.

I understand Natsu´s Dub voice actor wants to make it sound badass but sometimes it´s one of those moves that needs subtitles to understand what Natsu said

Personally, I think "God-slayer" is just a self-granted title. It's likely a kind of magic that vaguely resembles dragon-slayer magic, so the dude just picked something that sounded cool. 👀
You know, you should watch "Black Clover" next! It anime about boy who haven't a magic power in a world of magic, but given a rare grimoire that grant hime with anti-magic.
wizards are still a human,so they can empty their magic mana and became empty vessel to expose themselves into other magic attributes...I`s high risky approach but what Natsu did there are smart and yet dangerous.
about Master hades`s bakstory,it will revealed in distant future ......
about capricorn,his story are interesting.
