    Honestly, I'm here to learn Korean so that when BTS members have finished their enlistment, I am able to understand them when they speak during weverse lives or concerts without subtitles. Sending all the members love and support. Thanks for all the hard work and love you have put into this world. Their existence gives me true happiness. I have learned so much about Korean culture and I think the Korean language is beautiful.

    Good for a refresh to see what I could remember after not studying Korean for awhile.
    Although there were some typos/mistakes in 110 - the hangul read 'library' instead of chair and 121 - read 'map' instead of street. For 162 the English pronunciation of Aircon (it should be basically same as Korean) and 164 - said 'Window' instead of 'salt'

      If you are writing the words as you hear them the first listen through (like I did), pay attention for times when the audio and text do not match. When 의자 is the vocabulary, the correct English text and Korean pronunciation are given, but the Korean text is for another word (don't remember offhand but last syllable was 관)

    Some constructive criticism from things that I noticed:
    For the word "tooth" the video uses the word "치아". However, from what I understand, "이" is more common. (I also read somewhere that "치아" is more used for like dentists and stuff.) In addition, it might be beneficial to note somewhere that there are different words referring to if you are talking about human teeth or animal teeth and that "이" is referring to human teeth.
    One other thing is that the video says "older brother" is "형" and "older sister" is "누나". This is correct if you are a male talking about your older brother and sister, but there is no note of that, so I can see people who are just starting out becoming confused. It might be good to note in the description or something that 형 and 누나 are what a MALE calls his older brother and older sister. For a FEMALE, she would call her older brother "오빠" and her older sister "언니".

    • @TheKoreanTutorial
      @TheKoreanTutorial  10 місяців тому

      Thanks for your comment! You got the point, yes, 이 is more common word for human teeth. I will add it in the description.
      I've made a new video including 500 words, and I've added description for 형,누나,언니,오빠.
      Since this was one of the my first few videos, there are quite a few mistakes, apologies to everyone watching 😔 But I promise that I will keep in mind every comment and advice from you guys, and apply it to my new videos. Thank you ☺️
