Do you wait 24 hours Beforenwearing/washing. They NEED TO SIT DOR 24 hours. Almost all of them.

Hi there, I answered your question and never hit the reply button, lol. I truly apologize , so if it is a vinyl or paper that is my first time using I do let the images sit overnight once pressed on to the shirts. I use the HTVRont paper a lot so if I am some what familiar with how that paper works. So if I need shirts done last minute, I will press the images onto the shirt and put them right on my kids. However, the shirts I made in this video once the designs were pressed on to the shirts I did let both shirts sit overnight and threw them right into the wash the very next day. I was curious to see how the designs would hold up and in my honest opinion HTVRONT paper held up pretty good and still has till this day held up pretty good with some slight fading but way better than the Siser DTV. Always wash your shirts inside out in cold water and allow them to hang / air dry thats how I do it to keep the design lasting a little longer but remember not all products will give you the same results. Keep in mind when it is your first time using any Iron on paper or vinyl I would let them sit overnight but if you are curious to see how the designs hold up and you don't want to wait a whole 24 hrs than just press the design on an old shirt or fabric let the design sit for about 15 to 30 min and than throw it right into the wash and that should give you an idea of how the product will hold up. Sorry for the long answer, I hope this helps.🥰

Thank you so much for your content I’m new to the crafting world and your videos are so informative. Do you only use the htvront dark transfer paper? Even on light colors?

@@buddahkahn6911 That makes sense ...🥰 I really like how the fabric paper looks but if any juice or any drink with color touches the fabric paper it will stain so putting the clear vinyl over it Is a great idea. I am going to try it as soon as I get some time. Thank you for the advice it is greatly appreciated🥰

Can you please share the brand name of the clear matte vinyl you use? A link to the same product will be very helpful. Thank you. 🙂

The siser easycolor dtv will stain, too. Ask me how I know 🤦‍♀️ i love the htvront dark transfer paper. Inexpensive and works great

lol... as expensive as DTV is you would think it would be a bit better. I noticed that the DTV fades quicker than the HTVRont dark transfer paper. I prefer the HTVRont dark transfer paper myself. Thanks so much for your comment and thank you for following and watching our videos🥰

I would be careful with water contact when you first press the image.🥰🥰

Did you use sublimation ink? Try DTF on a canvas tote...I did it, but had some issues...I had to improvise...oh and try the sublimation spray on cotton

@@majkustoms7009they ALL NEED TO SIT FOR 24 hours before they can be washed or have water contact. It can bleed but it will also cause lifting of the vinyl sometimes.

@@SimplybeingRHTVRont does make SUBLIMATE-able HTV for applying to 100% cotton- if your wanting the colors to be permanent for as long as the vinyl remains adhered to the shirt. People really like it. Side note HTVRont also makes sublimation sticker paper too!!
