I was right there, in that room with the piano and on the parade square outside on the 21st of October 2022 as I am an air cadet, and I was there because I was training for the region band, it was an honor to be at RAF Northolt
Yes, I was in the RAAF for 20 years. When I first joined in 1972 the march past was this piece then a few years later it was changed, for the worst I fear.
@@someflipswhoguy I know I didn't care for it much. I play the RAF march on the theatre organ, would have preferred if we in the RAAF had kept the RAF march. The structure musically is better.
Brilliant! Through adversities we'll conquer. Blaze into the stars, A trail of glory We'll live on land and sea 'Til victory is won. Men in blue the skies are winging In each heart one thought is ringing. Fight for the right, God is our might, We shall be free. Per Ardua Ad Astra!
Is the RAF March past ever preformed with lyrics? The wiki show there’s lyrics but I never seen a lyrics version. Through adversities we'll conquer. Blaze into the stars, A trail of glory We'll live on land and sea 'Til victory is won. Men in blue the skies are winging In each heart one thought is ringing.
