Dude Spoilers!
@@ps2gamingforever364I think you may be on the wrong youtube channel
2 hours? This episode is so long i expected Aaron's Christmas Tree to be up by the end 🎄 😂
I still can't believe he took it down
@@ericbreen4340 he should just leave it up year long. 😂
How is it that Aaron has never seen The Goonies ?
"Gonnies Never Die "
Elizabeth Shue is 60 years old and still looks great! Here in Australia, "Adventures in Babysitting" was called "A Night on the Town".
My friend and I have had an ongoing dispute for years over Nightwing's original high-collar costume. He hates it, but I maintain it's absolutely boss. Only Nightwing and Elvis could pull it off.
The movie that I like where they have to save some institution was Blues Brothers. Great quotable lines.
“How often does the train go by? -Jake
So often you won't even notice it.-Elwood”
Always a treat to hear the sparrow sing
I used to love Carol Danvers with the way Claremont and Reed wrote her. They broke her after Reed's run, and I don't even recognize the character as the same person anymore. I love Aaron's idea to find a way to retcon/redeem her to return her to her true self instead of this imposter version that currently exists. Ms. Marvel (Carol) used to be my favorite Marvel female hero. Now, I can't stand any comic she's in. They've made her very unlikable. I own her original run, and the Reed run, and those are the books I read when I want to read a good Carol book. Kamala is a mess. She was a mess from the get-go, because her powers were lame, and she didn't have a heroic journey (still hasn't had one, to my knowledge). She could be redeemed, though. With the recent ret-con to change her to a mutant, they could give her new powers that are actually unique to her, and not lame, and explain it as a secondary mutation. This could coincide with giving her a unique hero name, and actually give her a story arc where we get to see *why* she chooses to be a hero, *what* drives her to put her life on the line for others, and *how* her views and convictions establish her as a role model to others. Thanks for the show, guys.
Carol is my Ms. Marvel forever, and always
@@maxmazzotti6651 Right there with you, brother. I'll accept "Warbird" or "Binary" as well, though.
I'm a toy collector and I had a great childhood.
The high end stuff is pretty amazing and detailed, but I go for the actual stuff that looks like actual toys when I was a kid.
A great interview! It brought back many memories of my childhood in the 70s. I had a Stretch Armstrong, the Monster Maker, many of the toys you talked about. I remember when Stretch was recalled and my dad told me why we were throwing my toy away. But before that, he cut Stretch open so I could see the 'toxic chemicals' inside him--the reason for the recall. Is that Trent Kaniuga art behind Aaron? Nice!! 👍
Wes, you haven’t even crossed the 50 yard line yet! To quote Lord Humongous “YOU PUPPY!!!”😂And to quote me “YOU LUCKY PUPPY!!!”.😂(I’m just talking about your age)😂😂
Aaron, I think the first G.I.JOE figure to come out with an animal
was Mutt and Junkyard. I could be wrong about that though. But I distinctly remember playing with my friend, and him playing with Mutt and Junkyard. And thinking they were so cool. Then about a year later buying Snake Eyes and Timber. Then it was his turn to feel green🤢 with envy. 😂😂😂
Ps. Where’s the Acolyte discussion. I thought a viewer paid you guys to watch that Dreck. 😂😂😂
I want a video of Aaron showing us his action figures, I’d actually be much more interested in that than comics.
That’s about a 6 hour video, I’m sure. 😂😂
I would love to work on Tim Drake storyline with his young Justice crew. I have designs and storylines ready to go for them. Tim Drake is one of my favorite characters.
Really appreciate the upload. Thanks.
I got another question! Any chance we'll be getting that Superboy-Prime was patient zero on comic pros treating fans like garbage?
Lol! Let it go man. He will never, ever address this. He either doesn't know, or he does know but he doesn't show it, or he just plain doesn't give a damn. Regardless, you should just move on. This will never get any attention like it should.
@@incubustimelord5947 I'll stop asking only when the video is done or Wes himself asks me to stop posting it.
@@johnnycage112 Okay. Fine. Waste your effort, energy and time. That's on you bruh. 🤷♂️
@@incubustimelord5947 Any time wasted doing what you enjoy isn't wasted! Wes could do it.
Damon Lindelof also wrote Ultimate Wolverine vs Hulk.
This is the kind of content I was hoping to see more of. The character I would like to make work is War Machine. After reading the run from the 90s, I think there's great potential for villain creation, since the 90s run has him tackle dirty jobs Iron Man wouldn't be caught dead handling, I also think James Rhodes being tied to the government gives him potential to seek out corruption from within in a Jack Ryan kind of way.
I was listening to Aaron describe Champagne and Bullets and thought “wow, someone made a movie just like Geteven,” and then I did a Google search…
Captain America was not shot by Crossbones....he was shot by Sharon Carter who was psychologically conditions by Dr Faustus to shoot Captain America and kill him. And yes Bucky is the only person who should step in for Steve and would the shield. WTF20.
Wes u my dude bro but asron sparrow is my guy!!!! Dude be spot on wit his takes lol
So no budgie smugglers for Wes in the water park. The local ladies miss out on red blooded American goodness.
Loved the story where Kamala Khan were fighting Super-Skrull, I think her character could be interesting as a side-kick for Mister Terrific. She was also interesting in The Exiles, I think her powers from that series could be used in interesting ways. Jim Zub wrote her like an actual really interesting likeble character in his version of Champions (only time I enjoyed Champions).
Id tell Aaron he needs to play Fallout but im sure id get tons of angry letters when orders for custom figures get delayed a few weeks
Also Pride of Baghdad was Brian K Vaughn
My favorite DC Comics toyline is Super Powers and my favorite Marvel Comics toyline is Secret Wars. I miss those old action figures from the 1980s. I loved the animated television series connected to the Super Powers Collection called Super Powers: Galactic Guardians. It was the last of the old school DC cartoons after Challenge Of The Super-Friends. The only other T.V. program that had matched it at that time was Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends. That animated television series was the only Marvel cartoon that gave Super Powers some real competition.
And in the comics, DC had Crisis On Infinite Earths and Marvel had Secret Wars, and Secret Wars II. I was a kid at that time and man, between those epic comic book stories in the '80s, and those awesome toys, and those cool Saturday Morning cartoon shows, it was such a time be alive!
Aaron, im gonna make a diorama actionfigure scene using that classic disco knightwing...lol. Great Video Wes!
I'd buy that Captain Marvel comic, sounds so good to me and makes sense. Entertaining Geek out, some good laughs, enjoy that holiday.
I'd love to written Carol Danvers if I could deconstruct it a little and have it be a space adventure, inspired by her run on Uncanny X-Men. I really liked her in that book, she was cool as Binary, I would also love the artist from her run on Ultimates, both are the only times I've actually enjoyed her character. I also love her with an original Superhero title instead of stelling from her dead ex-boyfriend. I think she could definitely be exciting as a character.
My dream character to try and make work is Garth aka Tempest.
I'd also like to give Simon Baz a try.
Back when Toys R Us and Kaybee Toy store were open you could buy the Marvel Universe action figures for about $6 to $8 each. Last time I worked the comic shop the Marvel Legends were 24.99 each.....WTF20.
A Wednesday action figure would be interesting.... HEH HEH HEH BUENO
Every time you everybody talks about GI goes. All I can think about is my dad giving me gi Joe's when out with a kid and it was like a big a** Barbie doll man, if I still had those. They'd be expensive as hell.
Mark Bagley on Nightwing/Nightcrawler. He can do all the action sequences you'd need. WTF20.
Awesome work guys
the AVP beat em up by capcom was a classic! tis blasphemy for Aaron to say it doesn't play well!
Has Aaron ever consider 3D printing? I’m sure he could make some pretty sweet looking figures.
Hi Wes, the first Darth Bane book was adapted into a mini series called “Jedi Vs Sith” by dark horse in 2001. Pretty hard to find a physical copy and not as great as the books but still a solid series.
Thanks 👊
I have to say despite all the 80's cartoons I watched and early 90's cartoon shows...I never bought really any action figures as kid. No Transformers. No GI Joe. A tiny bit of classic Star Wars. And definitely none of the other toys from other shows you can name off here. I never had an allowance, it was more just doing stuff with family as kid and if I went to toy store maybe I could get something if I wanted. And despite always looking at tons of toys in the toy aisles rarely did I ever ask for anything. I guess whatever I had was good enough, or playing outside and just watching the shows mattered most. And trust me I spent plenty hours in front of the tv after school and during school vacation watching cartoons. Looking back on it now not sure what it meant....cause apparently I may be the only kid of that era who wasn't drawn in by the cartoons to be obsessed with buying the toys. Which is why I think all the laws surrounding kids tv shows are bullshit. I'll end it there cause I think I've said enough. WTF20.
Well DC completely wasted David Finch when he jumped over as an artist. So why surprised they wasted Fabok? Yeah that Star Wars game was cool, I had a small core of gamers who played it in the store. But with all the competition out there in games, it all fell apart in the end. Faded out. WTF20.
the 2nd capcom dnd game was better than the first one.
yikes, dad speedo.
