Great video! Looking at creating something like it for the car and at home in the UK. With the freak weather we sometimes see and things like Covid it’s not just being out in the wild where you can get caught out.
TP and a towel, a garden trowel would be a lighter alternative to the spade, a bandana or something that would work well as a sweat rag. The walkie talkie needs to receive FM radio broadcasts as that may have actual information on places where help and aid stations have been set up. More food, ie., tuna and crackers for those ten minute stops, you know the ones you should be taking every hour, to get a hot drink inside you, and if you’re in a group check on everyone and how they’re fairing up. Make any adjustments to your kit, orientate yourself, and have a good think about the order of march, ie., the slower out of shape infirm or young should be your pace setters. Those larger water containers would only be of any use if you are planning to do a longer trail break of 24 hours or more. Get yourself a Gral per pack, get the larger one, saves time and energy at a water source. Redundancy is just that, weight that can be better used for necessities. Good luck and hope you never learn from your mistakes the hard way.
Always take a winter survival never come home bag on a hiker trailer with hot tent … you never know if you can come home in SHTF … maybe your times in nature can be weeks moths years … 🍀🍀🍀🌎🔥🔥🔥🔥✌️😉✌️🍀🍀🍀🔥
I'm sure you know what you're doing. So you must have some reason for not having a good full fang fixed blade knife. Maybe you could share with us why? A multi tool can do a lot of things pretty good, but if will never take the place of a fixed blade knife.
Where are your execration tools And extended light source solar Never put your sawer in a water proof bag should be in a mesh bag so it will dry out Boiling water then cooling then filtering is 💯 safest and best way to
have you ever looked at the ingredients of Ready Hour "foods"? They literally use coffee creamer instead of dried milk. You might as well be stockpiling Twinkies and expecting to actually have energy to make it through the situation. UGH! I mean there are so many options out there that are more nutritionally sound. if you're planning for an emergency event! Nutrition is essential, and eating garbage food is the way to not make it.
There is only one thing wrong with this. The backpack is too nice and fancy. You're advertising you've got everything anyone would want with all those compartments.Your pack should look ragged and dark and a little dirty. It should look like nothing you would want to steal or touch. Your fancy pack will make you a big target .
How you're backpack looks doesn't really matter, nobody is going to be carrying a backpack full of dirty diapers and empty McDonald's wrappers. Anyone with any kind of backpack obviously has something worth carrying, get a really good pack that will hold up and last. A cheap junkie pack will fall apart and you won't be carrying anything, nobody is going to be scoping out brands in a crisis get a grip. 🤦 During these last two devastating hurricanes, how many videos have you seen of people warning what backpack you wear? None because it doesn't matter, survival is the only thing that people are thinking about. 🤷
@JoannaMuse And since everyone knows this, it wont stop you from becoming a target. Every bag will looked at as a resource by those with nothing, or those wanting more.
@@alphaomegasurvivalsupply6548 Agreed. it more important to have a bag that will carry what need, and do so with out breaking your back in the process. Might as well stay home if you are only able to make it a few miles down the road before the pain of walking with the pack on makes you stop.
I pack the original cables whenever possible. Use aftermarket ones in the house.
fireproof bag for important documents, high visibility vest, fire blankets, cooling hat, cooling scarfs, disinfectant wipes, misting fans.

Absolutely, it's important to consider the most likely emergencies for our specific area and tailor our supplies accordingly

Good catch, but my reasoning is that a quality knife should already be on you as an everyday carry item
This looks like a quiet place game

Instead of a stove and freeze dried meals where you have to waste water, just carry a couple of emergency rations and let the wife carry the shovel 👍
Agreed. Save your water. Add hydration packets in your flavor. You Will quickly dehydrate. 3:01

Got mine at a goodwill. It's high end and broken in. Doesn't scream tacti-cool or loaded with food.
