Exactly! I also think we cannot be judging people on how tools work for them! I will be trying 2 planners for the first time this year, this is because the smaller daily planner is not enough space for my studies, but it is enough to be carried around and for any other thing I need in my day. Our needs are our needs in the end of the day, and we should do what works the best for us! No shame on that

I separated school and personal as well. It stresses me out so much to have school stuff in my comfort planner and when I see some people putting their exam dates into their personal journal I‘m really confused cause I could never do that😢😅

Some would maybe think I don't need a planner at all since I no longer work and don't have much of a set schedule. But I love it! I love pens; I love stickers and decor; I love paper and notebooks and all things hobonichi, and I love videos from like-minded people. I want to work on my handwriting so it looks nice like Helen's. All that to say I have plans for all of my hobos!

I love your pocket planner style, it inspired me to switch from the Cousin to a A6 Stalogy. I have been using the Cousin for 1 1/2 years and as much as I love it I just don't fill up any of the pages same with my B6, they are just to big for my not much going on life. When you first introduced the pocket planner I was like "yup that's it" so thankyou for sharing.
In the start of my planning life I felt I could put all I need in ONE planner. And this year I realized I needed the planners to be separate to serve me best. And 5 happens to be my number as well and I’m very satisfied with the arrangement.💖

Love this surprise video! I think its completely normal to have multiple planners, because even for me, I feel the need to compartmentalize tasks so they don't feel overwhelming. I love your lineup!!! I finalized on 6. However one of them is going to be for travel only. Hobonichi Cousin as my catch all, A6 for health, wellness and creativity, Stirling Ink's common planner for financials, Weeks for meal planning, TN passport for EDC most info will be duplicated into the cousin or vice versa and the TN standard for travel only. 2023 is going to be a year full of wanderlust. :). I do have a Passport for the dog's information, but I don't count that one. I think it's just an amazing system to keep everyone separate. 3 Belgian Malinois and 1 German Shepherd is a lot to keep up with.

She had the Maaya Sakamoto one but decided to go with a different design. I don’t know what I’ll use it for because I already had my line-up for next year but I’ll figure something out.
hey! i loved your planners, especially the language one, just a quick tip: we normally say responder los correos or emails (instead of using correos electrónicos) and we don't use the "a" you wrote before because that would imply that you are responding to them as if you were responding to a person (in english you wouldn't say answer to the emails, you just would say answer the emails.) amazing content!

Oh finally! I was so excited about this video! I can so understand when you said you are feeling 'less yourself' this year. Come on, 'forcing' yourself to write smth in ur journal daily is tough 😅I would defn say dun try to push to 'daily tracking anything' as you said... On the other hand I'm trying to learn a dialect next yr too. Getting a notebook for the vocab and practises. Also I think it's good to write down the lyrics for songs in the language 🤣

At the beginning, I was thinking that 5 planners is a lot to keep track of... then I realized I'm pretty much in the same boat, though it is going to be 2 main planners. :P I really like your idea of a language book. Though I'll probably just have a section in my edc and common planner (more as a notebook). Using daily scripture reading and maybe adding songs from various dramas. Maybe practice writing on Procreate? Thank you for posting your planner system, and thank you for inspiring me to keep planning! While our styles are different, watching your videos help remind me to keep a planner near by, and to try to write more. Now for us to prep, and keep using all our planners for 2023!

For 2023, I want to try to copy/write more and see if I can improve my handwriting, and maybe remember the characters better. Thanks for the idea, maybe I should copy the passage in one of my planners too. It would be a good way to practice my handwriting.

I have never tried something like this, and it still baffles me like why people do this. I just stumbled upon these videos and one thing which is true is that they are really fun to watch. My handwriting is good, so I like watching other people maintaining their work and being tidy and all. But I have a question. After completing one planner, what happens to that? I mean where do you keep it? You won't throw away right? But what if anyone sees it? Since they are personal, and I won't like anyone else to see them. So? What to do? How to manage this? Do tell me!

I decided last year to have 2 separate planners, one work, one personal. Work was very stressful and I needed that separation for my mental health.

hey! i loved your planners, especially the language one, just a quick tip: we normally say responder los correos or emails (instead of using correos electrónicos) and we don't use the "a" you wrote before because that would imply that you are responding to them as if you were responding to a person (in english you wouldn't say answer to the emails, you just would say answer the emails.) amazing content!

I just had an idea, thanks to you. I need to start a dedicated planner to fix up (finally) our Hurricane Harvey home, which will start in June! Oh finally! I was so excited about this video! I can so understand when you said you are feeling 'less yourself' this year. Come on, 'forcing' yourself to write smth in ur journal daily is tough 😅I would defn say dun try to push to 'daily tracking anything' as you said... On the other hand I'm trying to learn a dialect next yr too. Getting a notebook for the vocab and practises. Also I think it's good to write down the lyrics for songs in the language 🤣

At the beginning, I was thinking that 5 planners is a lot to keep track of... then I realized I'm pretty much in the same boat, though it is going to be 2 main planners. :P I really like your idea of a language book. Though I'll probably just have a section in my edc and common planner (more as a notebook). Using daily scripture reading and maybe adding songs from various dramas. Maybe practice writing on Procreate? Thank you for posting your planner system, and thank you for inspiring me to keep planning! While our styles are different, watching your videos help remind me to keep a planner near by, and to try to write more. Now for us to prep, and keep using all our planners for 2023!
I do daily Scripture writing and I like discovering new verses and passages.
@@charlenejo2490 I've been reading passages in English and Chinese, and it is interesting how the topic lines up sometimes! For 2023, I want to try to copy/write more and see if I can improve my handwriting, and maybe remember the characters better.

Personally I like to keep track daily of my steps and sleep since apps already does that for me. But water is very rough for me everyday because I forget to update when I drink🥹

I have never tried something like this, and it still baffles me like why people do this. I just stumbled upon these videos and one thing which is true is that they are really fun to watch. My handwriting is good, so I like watching other people maintaining their work and being tidy and all. But I have a question. After completing one planner, what happens to that? I mean where do you keep it? You won't throw away right? But what if anyone sees it? Since they are personal, and I won't like anyone else to see them. So? What to do? How to manage this? Do tell me!
