I have the Razorock SLOC and it is becoming one of my favourites. Really easy to shave with, as you say, efficient but mild. Also very reasonably price.
A ceramic shaving scuttle, followed by a closeup of a lovely flower arrangement by Mrs. H; what a gorgeous opening shot! Kind Sir, I recently purchased the Razorock SLOC, and was utterly amazed by how smoothly it shaved, (it doesn't resemble other "mild" razors in my collection). This rather affordable razor shaves very similarly to my Edwin Jagger DE 89, but, with slightly more "blade feel". I'm growing more and more fond of the Razorock Self Lubricating Open Comb razor. It would be a good "daily driver", for those who shave on a daily basis.
Sounded like you were shaving outdoors Paul. Very nice to hear the birds singing in the background. Spring is here! Lisbon marked 30ºC today and everybody is due to stay at home... It's also Mothers Day in this country and most families can't go to visit their loved ones which is a sad reality these days... Hope you, Mrs H and Alys have a great week and hopefully things start to go better so you can go out & about, perhaps enjoy a meal in the woods. Missing those kinds of videos too ;)
Hi Paul- Great weekend shave; thank you! Lovely pastel flowers from Mrs H; thanks, as always! Enjoy Sunday dinner and have a great start to the week. Be safe and be well and best regards, as always! See you on Wednesday for the mid-week shave.
What are the odds? I literally just ordered this razor two days ago with the BarberPole handle. I also ordered Taylor of Old Bond St. *Sandlewood* , Ariana and Evans Barbiere Sophisticato , RazoRock XXX, a YAQI 24mm Badger Brush. The one with the baby blue and white handle. And a Gillette Adjustable T-Shirt . I’ve been traditional save them for a year and a half but I never went crazy with buying stuff (besides razors). I got most of my thing kindly PIF’ed to me. The most full Soap Tubs I had at a given time [ not including samples ] is about 7-10. Another reason is only until recently I’ve been shaving once a week. Now I’m getting Shaves done every day and a half or every 2-3 days tops. I might get a Red-tip SuperSpeed. My Flare Tip Shaves exceptionally well so I only suspect I’d enjoy the RedTip.
Gr8 shave again Paul 💈👍 Gavin loves that wool fat soap. Beautiful flowers as always 💐 Mrs H. Hope you enjoyed Lashento's we love those chicken thighs too 👍 Hope you're bothing having a gr8 start to the week and keeping safe & well 💈👍💐💈

Great shave Paul and flowers Mrs H. Glad to hear things are getting back to normal for you. It looks like I'll be going back to work May 11th as it stands now. Been of for 7 weeks. Best to you both!
Just order some Stirling shaving soap. Black cherry , barbers shop and mountain man. Also some Geo F trumpet Spanish leather soap. Can't wait to use them all.
Nicely done Paul💈💈 RazoRock makes two models of the SLOC, both very reasonable and usually out of stock😒, must be fine razors. I have the PAA version of it in SS, incredible razor, also usually out of stock🤔 You can tell when something is "worth it", it's always out of stock😊 MWF is great soap if you don't leach the lanolin out of it like I did🙄 I bloomed it while showering and ruined the puck, no more blooming soaps for me. Fantastic display of spring color today, Mrs H nails it again, thanks😎 Great video again, stay safe👍👍 Enjoy!

The SLOC works really well as a buffing razor, the head channels and holds lather so that your forward / backwards motions are riding on a thin film of lather, hence, Self Lubricating. I loved it before I bought PAA's Copper Ascension which also has that self lathering feature. Light touch, zero pressure, ride the cap! You'd get a shave so close your skin will squeak on the rinse down.
That’s an interesting razor Paul. My shave yesterday morning was: Rockwell 6C, plate 4, Dorco ST300 blade, Truefitt and Hill No.10 cream with my Simpsons Berkeley badger. Hope you have a relaxing Sunday mate. Baz.
Happy Sunday Paul! Thank you Mrs. H for the flowers, always makes my day cheerful when I see those beautiful colors. Self lubricating razor? Every razor can be called self lubricating once you have lather on the face, huh? I think you have inspired my soap for the shave today. I love how my face feels after I use MWF. Sometimes, it is a bit finicky in building a superb lather. Could be my heavy metal lace water, lol. Mitchell's slickness is always great and the scent I find very comforting. Lately, I have been using Astra SP blades. I find those blades give a great shave; close and comfortable. Longevity is a bit short when compared to the Gillette Rubie or Platinum Plus blades, yet a very good blade in all respects. Tomorrow there will be an easing of restrictions in Kansas. The Governor instituted a three phase opening of the state, so phase one is tomorrow. We are allowed out with some guidelines we must follow. I miss Mark's and Spencer's. I enjoy going to the cafe and having a cream tea. I must remember to go into the men's scent location and pick up some of that aftershave. Thank you for sharing your shave...a great way to start a Sunday. Stay safe and healthy, both you and the Mrs. Take care.
