Uhhhhhh YEAH, he committed all right... committed to NOTHING! Here one day, gone the next. Trick was gnarly as af, but who cares? Whiney, annoying, and forgettable... As sick as the make is, I'd be embarrassed to have this edit posted publically... Made him look like a real bitch!!
Awesome ending!! Lands the switch heel, screams with joy and then takes a happy photo with the security/maintenance guy. Piece of skateboarding history right here!!
Auby a really cool guy. I remember living back in Dallas, Tx, and he showed up to one of the skatepark and I asked him how to nollie heel noseslide. He told me my only problem was that I was focusing too much on the noseslide and that I had to treat it like a one-two step. Since that day, I know how to do them.
I highly doubt that he landed it that 'last try' that the groundskeeper said he could have. It was edited to look that way. Super rad trick, nonetheless. But just as much storytelling and editing went into creating this clip as did the skating.
Michael R. Dude you’re legit responding to all of these hahaha. You have to be so dumb to think a skate team set this whole shabang up. Like seriously you’re “fake verse real” censor is all whacked up if you think this was faked
@B B Lol "regular people"? Talk about exposing your judgemental bias. If someone's authentic expression doesn't fit your rigid idea of "meaning" or "right direction" you instantly dismiss their worth as a person and become hyper-judgemental, essentially dehumanizing them. You're so caught up in all these bullshit labels and conditioning that you fail to see the possibility that if you were cloned and raised in a different upbringing then you might be the one skateboarding. If you had a deep understanding of this truth it would be impossible for you to make such ignorant judgments because you would be aware of the whole process but clearly you're not at that point yet - so you'll continue to make ridiculous claims that things you don't like have "no meaning" because you find comfort in simple models that explain reality instead of admitting that you really don't know shit. Fact is you typed all this shit out for an emotional reason, you don't have any "meaning" or "right direction" either. Admit you're a flawed animal engaging in irrational behaviour and stop fucking deluding yourself into thinking you're making some sort of wise point. Nobody is going to have a sudden nervous system transformation that turns them from a rebellious skateboarder to a fucking Doctor just because you told them to, so don't act under the delusion that your words will have that effect.
