Wild Beasts are an indie rock band from Kendal, England. They released their first single, "Brave Bulging Buoyant Clairvoyants", in 2006. They have released three albums: Limbo, Panto in 2008, Two Dancers in 2009 and Smother in 2011.

These boys are now what Coldplay and Attic Fire were always trying to get to, but never quite got to that place. What a fantastic and original band these boys and girls are!
"Attic Fire" ... I hope you don't mean "The Arcade Fire".

Jesus I said this 7 years ago. To clarify. I rated their earlier stuff better than I did Arcade Fire. But since 7 years have past and WB new stuff has been disappointing. I retract this statement. We cool?
I love them , there vocals and lyrics are stunning
Jesus, what a band. Such a perfect amalgamation of talent, originality and plain old catchiness. Shame they didn't get the notoriety they deserved.. I guess music this good was only meant for the minority.

I played a gig with these guys at Esquires in Bedford back in 2008, I was blown away how good they were even back then, playing to barely anyone. Glad to see they've got the appreciation they deserve in the present moment.

wild beasts look amazing (never seen them live) but it's going to be difficult to beat watching palma violets in a tiny hundred people or so venue which ended up being voted one of the best small venues in the country
