Very impressive coffee maker, it’s beautiful and so versatile, greatly appreciate your detailed coffee maker reviews, superb video and sound quality. Just like being with you live in your coffee studio. Thank you ☕️😊 always fun to see Miss Fiona
hey, i know i'm late, but the reason why it's expensive, is probably because it's certified by the scaa, which guarantees the coffee maker meets certain criterias that allow for a cup of coffee to be considered of "gold standard". I myself, brew with a moccamaster in winter (and do cold brew in summer), and it make a big difference when you invest in quality beans and a higher end coffee grinder like a fellow ode gen 2 or a moccamaster km5. That gold standard is brew temperature followed by a strict timing. Water shouldn't be in contact with coffee for too long or else it will taste bitter, or for too little or else it will taste sour. The 200F temperature is crucial to a proper extraction, so the reading you got from outside the brew chamber isn't actually accurate, inside the brew chamber, there is a good chance that it's actually reaching closer to 200f. For me, a gadget like this is more than worth it because it allows me to take advantage of my higher end grinder and my third wave coffe beans (typically about 25 cad for 340G). I recommend you try finding a third wave roaster near you and try some higher end coffee, a coffee maker like that is gonna allow you to see a clear difference between "normal coffee" and the good stuff.
great video, thanks! I was really tempted to get this as a gift for family at first. I like how the water boils but then I started to think, how to clean. Glad you mentioned about the 90 cycle descale, must use filtered water, special baskets and the drip factor plus $300?! nope. The features aren't good enough for that price
I’ve had this coffee maker for over a year and I use on a daily basis, and it’s been the best coffee maker I’ve ever owned, I would say this product is for an enthusiast as well. The descaling cleaning process is effortless just add the filtered water and descaler product (optional), and it cleans out your entire system clearing out any gunk that makes your coffee taste funky that other machines will give you without this feature, and as far as special paper you don’t have to use OXO special papers, I’ve been using commercial filters of Amazon and they work just as well, it was like 20 bucks for 1000 papers, and the drip head feature is far superior to any cheap machine and the mocha master, the shower head on this machine covers the entire bed of coffee unlike others which gives you a consistent good tasting coffee every time.
I couldn't understand why he kept lifting the lid during the brew cycle? Let ot brew! It's like lifting a lid on a washing machine to see if it's spinning?
Im giving this one a shot. It's replacing a 2 MONTH old Ninja of the same style. I love the insulated carafe makers. But the Ninja is already non-functional!

@@K1NGDB Thanks for the info...good to know!
Great video
how long does the carafe keep the coffee at drinkable temp?
I would love to see a comparison between this and the 9 cup, or just curious which you prefer? Thanks!
9-cup is conical basket vs. 8 & 12 cups flat bottom basket machine...many prefer flavor characteristics of flat bottom filtering.
Any coffee makers that won't beep wen finished ? Thanks
Great video.
Beautiful dog❤
Oan: Imo, I don't think this coffee maker is worth $300.
The water reservoir is made out of glass, so, no plastic touching the water there, at least.

Watching the function of the maker and bloom of the coffee. Many people want to see that
