I hope Clay gets one last crack at it fr. That man still has the fire in him, more so than a lot of newcomers and current players. Feelin’ for him tbh.
Unfortunately it’s a lose lose situation for him. He’s not going to get on any decent team, and with that in mind, his stats are going to look awful because “play for the win not the stat” guys always look much worse on bad teams.
Sure he still has passion but the guy has been pretty bad for a long time now. Sometimes just gotta hang it up.

Bro stop Clau did not perform wel this year and the year before and this is going to be his path if he wants to play. Bottom 8 are going to offer him a contract. Also the league is getting bombed with rookies which play like well experienced players and their PACE is too much for player like clay Lamar and other ar players
As much as id love to see clay in the league, hes served his time and he now deserves to move on from the headaches of competing. Clay on the Flank and on the Desk would be soo refreshing.

On the topic of ravens, TJ deserves a spot in the league next year if ravens drop him. He was a very consistent solid SMG all year for the ravens, especially in respawn considering he has struggled the past few years in respawn

As a ravens fan loosing clay im mortified. But boston should get him if they are keeping snoopy. And should keep beans. Beans and clay will be so good imo beans getting clay gassed and clay also helping mold snoopy as has done with some other cracked rookies. Slasher isnt known for molding these rookies clayster is. Alongside a fast smg maybe a vivid i think the team works. I hope theres a story like this for clay. I honestly feel like with the right pieces this guy still has sundays in him.

Unfortunately he was wildly inconsistent all year. BUT were going into a treyarch title next and Clay is extremely talented on Treyarch titles. Id keep him for that reason alone.

At this point in his career Clay needs a slayer as his AR duo. Someone like Abuzah or Ghosty would match him well i think.

I feel for Clay. Guy won a chip in bo4 and got dropped, then won a chip in mw19 then got dropped, and seems to get a wild combo of really good or really bad luck. Never anything in between
One thing that was interesting about this year was that at different points -- Accuracy, Attach, and Clay all had really showout performances. Slasher was not around long enough to get that chance.
Attach on a sub could work with clay and Lamar as the A.Rs. The only issue is that attach hasn’t ran the prime sub since his EG roster in bo4
I fully believe that if Fortress control was removed from the MWII map pool Legion would have made champs. I feel like we've seen glimpses of Clays potential but he hasn't had a team he can flourish on.
Fnatic (Almxnd, Newbz, Skullface) and Twisted Minds (Aydan, zSmit, Knight) were actually very close to Team Falcons. Fnatic especialy were only 20 points off Team Falcons in the end despite Fnatic wiping relatively early in the last match.
Now hear me out. If FaZe flop at champs and EWC. Bring Clayster back with that trio and see if they can get over that sunday hump. If they can forgive Draz and his antics before this year then they can forgive Clay too. They dont need more slaying, just that extra edge and passion. Clay brings arguably the most passion out of anyone in COD
Clay is crazy at this game. People keep referencing scoreboard when talking about him but COD is waaaaaay more than k/d.

Hope Clay gets some desk and other cdl production opportunities. In some ways I kinda hope he doesn't compete again, for his sake. It will probably be a bottom tier team and more of the same, don't think it would be good for his mental. Something new for him to pour his passion into would be great to see

I said in my YT video that I think Clay mentioning that he needed to play more selfish was a jab to the players in the league who only play for stats and a spot in the league, compared to him playing to win and elevate his teammates and seeing where that got him.
If Seattle doesn’t keep Breszy. We should pick up Clay. I think Clay and Abuzah would be a great combo. With 04 and Huke. I hope we keep the SMG duo, but if the inconsistency continues. 04 and TJ/Nero wouldn’t be bad at all.

what i don t understand is when teams drop there player but doesn t have a better alternative. Like boston drop slasher but every other player out there is worst .... So it doesn t makes sense to me what all these teams are doing.
They’re hoping something works out. If you’re bottom 4 then it’s not like dropping someone and taking a chance will make you any worse. There are a lot of challengers players that could potentially improve the teams given the shot. You also can’t guess the chemistry new players can bring and who will have a breakout year next season. So there’s no real reason to run the same squad if you were on the bottom.

I doubt the EWC will ever be popular. Generally esports are boring to watch unless you are watching a game the you are good at personally even then it’s not very entertaining. The expectation that people are going to sit around and watch try hards compete in games they don’t even play is the exact type of thinking that makes esports continue to fail. The only way I see esports succeeding is if they either scale it way down or actively manage the entertainment aspect of the presentation past the gameplay whether that’s through gimmicks or having the players try to be entertaining.
