They literally need to bring back the open pool again for tournament instead of the city based teams, I remember being 18 and playing cod against other teams at mlg Dallas back in bo2 and trying to make it to the next day and it was so much fun also a lot of teams got recognition for knocking out higher teams as well
City based teams aren't bad there's just better ways to do it Keep the city teams and leave 4 spots open for open pool teams and make it a 16 team bracket Makes tournaments easier to understand too and makes them smoother

My lack of hype for champs and this season as a whole is because I’m just sick of the same stupid 12 teams with rebrands being the only changes, and I only watched the majors. We better get more that 12 teams next season or it’s gonna be the same story for me. I’ve only been holding on for 3 years after Optic abandoned me and every other fan in Chicago solely because I thought we would get a new replacement expansion team in the Windy City by now cause we get constantly shafted out of events.

I still think there is a strong possibility that Formal does indeed return the Optic roster. Besides being absolutely great content, its money well spent. He's already salaried and Optic can likely shed a 350k plus contract. Even if they backfill the Optic Halo spot, they are gonna save 6 figures. This current roster needs to make it to grand finals at a minimum to stick for next year. Hecz is likely paying around 1.5 mill for this roster.

Probably won’t enjoy it as much until they bring back the 32 team gauntlet format, was a lot better when they had like a playoffs to end the normal season with the pro teams, followed by champs as a separate thing where it was open bracket and loads of unknown teams and players could make it in and potentially make dark horse runs etc etc, a lot more fun and exciting to watch, than needs to make a return
