Gotta say 1970s Vampires are the Best! They're not too sloppy, not too savage and have just the right amount of eroticism. Gargling blood and letting it gush all over yr mouth and chin won't get you anywhere. And please, enough of Vampires exploding from the stake and the sun. Dark Shadows, Hammer Movies, Frank Langella's Dracula and BBC's 1978 Count Dracula did it just right.

Dude. Seriously. I have been saying that forever. I thought vampires were supposed to be elegant, intelligent creatures.
Not hissing animals who can’t be bothered to wipe their chins.
Why would anyone want to be a vampire if all you’re doing is wandering around pulling chunks out of peoples necks
