Ugh. My doctor who’s female put me on fluoxetine (aka Prozac). While it did alleviate my anxiety and depression, it also CLOBBERED any sexual desire. It also altered the way I look at women. While I still find them beautiful, I don’t seem to have any corresponding desire. In fact, it’s almost just the opposite. It’s like I’m looking at them how a doctor would, as just a female body, but no lustful feelings. I told my female doctor about this phenomenon, and she just said getting more exercise would help. Right now, I’m under so much stress I can’t really afford to quit the Prozac. But once I can stabilize things for myself, I wanna take a decent vacation and see if I can get off this crap.
