    Stems are the individual tracks that combine to make up a multitrack mix. Using Stem Splitter, you can split an audio region such as a band recording into separate stems and use the individual stems in your projects. You can extract stems for vocals, bass, drums, and other instrumental parts.
    Stem Splitter is available on iPads with Apple silicon.

    Thank you very much for this tutorial, Leo. I have tested it in comparison to Akai MPC Stems, absolutely equivalent with minor compromises. Koala Stem separation cannot keep up here.

    I'd love to see you process a more complex audio file. How does the AI handle an orchestra for example? Maybe try a film score piece. Let's see this AI pushed to its limits. There are many other programs that can do basic rhythm section stem separation, but can Logic beat them?

    Thanks Leo, very interesting look at the new functions of Logic Pro. It’s not something that I can afford but it’s nice to dream!

    Does LogicPro have native support for 32bit float?

      Logic Pro supports bit depths of 16, 24, and 32 bits and sample rates of 44.1, 48, 88.2, and 96 kHz.

    Thanks Leo! Do you know if stem splitter also works on older iPads without the M1 (or better) chips?

    • @soundformore
      @soundformore  27 днів тому +2

      It needs M chips unfortunately, no options … and in my view it is wrong it should still work even if slow, otherwise it is just a push for selling more iPads instead of looking after the music community…
