I love you, you are such a wonderful and amazing person, ever since I found out about your channel, I am able to get creative with foods to make for my older brother who has celiac disease. At first, in the early 2000s, there were not a lot of options, but now there are many available now. And I just LOVE your recipes, they are so simple and easy.
This is seriously my favorite cake! Before being GF, my favorite cake was white cake, whipped cream frosting, and strawberry filling. I think this is even better and it tastes so good! Thanks Kim!

Darn, I just baked some macaroons and don't have any more sweetened condensed milk. Guess I will have to wait till next week for this one. Although my doctor might disagree, fat is where it's at! I'm so glad you cook so well and share all your knowledge with the rest of us! Thank you 💕
It was definitely a hit, turned out great, every one loved it, but for me, next time I will scale back the milks just a tad, it was a bit too moist for my liking, but the taste was a home run.

Thank you! It would depend on the size of the disposable pan, so if it's a 9 by 13, it should be the same amount of time. If a little smaller, I would check at that time, but it may need to go longer by 5-10 minutes. If larger, it would take less time to bake, so I'd start checking about 10 minutes before the initial time frame. ☺
Does anyone know if you can freeze this cake? I have two of the cakes cooling down from the oven right now . I was wondering if I just made one up to eat tomorrow and freeze the other one for next week when we have company. But I was thinking, do I need to freeze just the cake? And then I can add the liquid after it thaws the day before our company comes? How does that sound to anyone? Has anyone tried this?
@@LetThemEatGlutenFreeCakeThat’s what I was afraid of so I froze just the cake, wrapped it up and surrounded it with ice packs. Put it into the fridge when we got to out destination and put the milks on it the next day. It was just fine.
I noticed that the gluten free flour blend you have listed here is with milk powder rather then protein powder. Is this substitution done purposefully since you're doing a cake here and the Now protein powder is better for yeast breads (or cinnamon rolls)? Or can it be done with either protein powder or milk powder?
No, they aren't interchangeable. The bread flour blend is just for breads and the all purpose blend (which is used in this recipe--with the milk powder) is used for pretty much everything else. 😍
@@LetThemEatGlutenFreeCake Another quick question for you, I have a bunch of stone ground white rice flour I've been meaning to use up and was wondering how different the end product is compared with the superfine. Still ok?
