That is THE best placement of a charge I have witnessed here. I think you got the most effect with the least charge. Great work!! Really cleaned that one out!! Very good work. The entrance to a beaver lodge is usually pretty deep to make sure it stays below the freeze line on a bad winter. GREAT camera placement by the way. Super coverage. Super "at risk" coverage I might add. Thanks for all your superb work here. I appreciate it.
@@shadowfox8748 I agree with that. My motto was "If in doubt, use excessive amounts of explosives." My largest was 2800 LBs of TNT. Sent seawater, mud and rock 4-500 ft in the air. Did the job and the LCT got up onto the beach and low tide.
I commented the same thing on your last video. Thanks for showing the after drainage footage, I like to see the runs and lodges. Awesome footage and video!
That dam has been there a long time.Jay google Canadian solution to beaver plugging culverts.Could do the same thing at a dam with some planning and work. In an the case they want to keep the pond but limit the height of the water. Basically it is a culvert running through the dam then attaching a 90 in the pond going up to the desired high water mark.
I built something simaler useing 4" pipe with an elbow upstream on beaver damms we could not get to regularly. We called them Beaver baffles. Beavers hate the sound of running water. This helped keep the water at a manageble level to avoid future washouts and flooding.
Ya know it takes a while, but if you take the AN and put it in a blender and grind it to a powder it makes a very much bigger boom with the Al powder mixed in.
Again, what a great freaking video. So awesome to just see the magnitude of water that they had dammed up into that farmer's field. And thanks for the tour into the hut. You bring a little bit longer pole next time, you'll be able to go all the way to the center with that cam. Dude this kind of shit, plus all the amazing trapping footage, is why you're my favorite channel on UA-cam. KEEP IT UP DUDE!!!!!
Ammonium Nitrate (Anfo) works great for removing damms,Moves shit nice and slow Tends to put the sticks back in the bush where sticks belong. Lot cheaper than dynamite also.
That was totally awesome . Love your video's and nolage of trapping . Makes my day when I see you posted . Wondering if you have a video with yawt yawt coming out . Thanks for the entertainment . Stay safe and healthy my friend .
When I realized you were going to blow it up I was thinking, that's dangerous. Then I saw the explosion and thought that was really cool. You gotta do that again! That was a awesome video. Thanks
I have only played with tannerite a couple times and once a microwave fan about took me out of the system lol its fun but man is it expensive. That and the cost of ammo makes it hard to want to shoot. Its over so quick to pay so much haha
Curious - why did you open the bag after you mixed it all up? The bag was sealed(ish) and if the round was gonna penetrate the cooler - the bag would go too. Just asking
I wonder how it would work with a 20lb in the center followed by a 10lb on each side, would take quite a while for the critters to rebuild the whole thing.
I think a line of 2 leiter bottles about 10' from each other could take out the whole dam if you used blasting caps and git them to go off one after the other times .5 seconds apart. Less chance it gets rebuilt.
lol.... Quick, run under the Honey Locust tree, that's a great place to hide! Just ignore those 5" thorns that'll run through your foot in a heart beat...lol. I've had to deal with a few of those here on my place. Man, they are not fun to try to get rid of, that's for sure.
Curious, we are busy building dams to retain water on the property, reduce erosion, water stock and grow fish to catch. Here the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. You must have very different conditions??
Great video J 🤘....... quick question. Why is it illegal too mess with the den?? I'm not a trapper so was just curious why you said it was illegal at the beginning of the video. Also watching your videos has really helped me down here in Texas figure out where and why the beaver are in my ponds like I said I'm not a trapper we just shoot them but understanding what's actually going on under the water really makes it easier too set up and stalk. Really enjoy your content brother 🤘

I agree. If only they had more … because overkill is under appreciated
@@shadowfox8748 That comment is under appreciated.

Holy smokes that was the best one yet. Keep ‘em coming, they never get old!
Think ya got enough tanerrite there BUTCH!!!🇨🇦🤣
The best and quickest dam drain I have seen yet way to go guys keep them coming 👍👍👍. 🏴
I commented the same thing on your last video. Thanks for showing the after drainage footage, I like to see the runs and lodges. Awesome footage and video!
the reverse footage is so freaken cool
7:23 one of the best videos I have ever seen.
Great footage. I've used tannerite several times. I always make sure I'm at 100 yards away and still always get stuff past me.
Cool stuff J. Cool to see the inside of the beaver house. Never gets old seeing the dam getting blown up.
Awesome job brotha really crazy what that did to the dam! Did you see the UFO behind you at 11:31 ?

Great placement of the charge. Would love to see you guys bring kayaks and float downstream after blowing the dam
We have talked about it
Running that in reverse was way cool. Also, that basket of rice inside the mound.
Again, what a great freaking video. So awesome to just see the magnitude of water that they had dammed up into that farmer's field.

fantastic great to watch keep up the good work we do not have that problem here where I live in Scotland
If you paid me 100 bucks, I’d make a hole twice as big, with a rake and by hand, in under an hour.
Real nice...you thought you lost the cams ended up w some great slo-mo's...
these videos never get old!

Greetings from the BIG SKY. I think you got the most effect with the least charge. Great work!!
Look at 12:43 and see the UFO over his shoulder
First off holy smokes. 95k subscribers. Where the hell have I been? I remember 2,000. Happy for ya man. Putting the time in. Awesome video!

Watch the shot at quarter speed and you can literally watch the shockwave hit J
When I realized you were going to blow it up I was thinking, that's dangerous. Then I saw the explosion and thought that was really cool. You gotta do that again! That was a awesome video. Thanks
I’ve got a few videos up on here! I appreciate you watching
Kind of reminds me of when the dance blew out in Gladwin Michigan
"the hut is taller than Clay." For reference, Clay is 4' 10".
That is the best place to get shoot boom. Best bang for your buck. 😊
Danger close every time 😂 RIP GoPro
Great video! If you are ever worried about it getting wet. It would probably be more water proof if you put the bag in to.
Shit that’s a good idea lol
if a beaver would have came out of the hut i would have died😂
Whin a week the beavers will have the damn reepaired.
I have only played with tannerite a couple times and once a microwave fan about took me out of the system lol its fun but man is it expensive. That and the cost of ammo makes it hard to want to shoot. Its over so quick to pay so much haha
We use to get packs of Ammonium Nitrate with refinded diesel for that very reason. It was a free gubment program down hea in Mississippi.
That was awesome!! "You got it OH shit" 🤣🤣🤣
How cool! Ka-BOOM!!!
Hmmm, beavers ... Masters at building earthen dams!! 😁👍. Good job, guys.
That was AWESOME !!!
Are some of the beaver problem you are having from the big lake above you that the dam failed on a few years back ?
that was great!!! trapper j will soon be big boom J
If you would of used a long tube it would of been wider of a path.
Curious - why did you open the bag after you mixed it all up? The bag was sealed(ish) and if the round was gonna penetrate the cooler - the bag would go too. Just asking
Wow they damned that place up legit! Get to trappin!!
Bless our show me state laws. Nice boom
For sure 1 of your best dam busts to date... Great job mate that was super cool.....
I just found some new heroes! My father in law has a beaver pond challenge some years at his camp in da UP.
Great video.
Absolutely awesome guys! 😂💪👊💥
I feel like you could not have placed that in a better spot. Hell Yea!
I wonder how it would work with a 20lb in the center followed by a 10lb on each side, would take quite a while for the critters to rebuild the whole thing.
I agree J, best one yet👍

Cool video. Stay safe out there
Excellent guys!!
Daaaaaaaamn
Hey, I was just wondering what size of trap do you use in your box sets for bobcats
220
That was awesome!!
That was easily the best one yet!!!😂😂😂😂
I got two 50 pounders that was cool lol
Damn! That’s a lot of water!👍🏻😎🇺🇸
I only have one thing to say. Hell fuckin yeah!
That was the first time I've ever seen that but it was amazing!
Keep doing it that way, soon enough you'll end up with something hard or heavy landing on you.
Way cheaper buying the ammonium nitrate and aluminum powder separately
You should bring a tarp to keep the debris off you.
What would be the fun in that
You're down stream neighbors must love you.
WOW!! Best yet!!
Beautiful work!
Sunday night drop.. Nice!
the beavers are angry because you destroyed there dam
Actually they are 💀
TJ that was the BOMB!!! Best one so far!!! Damn that was big!!!!! Love when you blow those up!!! Those beavers are hard on the fields..
617 Squadron would be proud.

lol.... Quick, run under the Honey Locust tree, that's a great place to hide! Just ignore those 5" thorns that'll run through your foot in a heart beat...lol. I've had to deal with a few of those here on my place. Man, they are not fun to try to get rid of, that's for sure.
Just freaking awesome
Great placement
A 3 inch pvc pipe put in with a post auger and capped way more power deeper hole too
Thats why we watch 👍👍👍
Curious, we are busy building dams to retain water on the property, reduce erosion, water stock and grow fish to catch. Here the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. You must have very different conditions??
