Simply amazing! Love it! It's going into my repertoire right away just like so many of the tricks you have shared! I've been performing magic for over 25 years now and it never ceases to amaze me how absolutely incredible the simplest tricks provide the biggest reactions. "Thanks for sharing your incredible tricks and talents"
I tried it a different way. The telling them a number range feels like a force. Doing the cards behind your back seems odd. If you're good at talking and patter, this can work. However, I let them choose any number, then instead of putting the cards behind my back, I take out the bottom card and ask if it's theirs. They say no, I put it back on the bottom. I do the same with the top card so it looks natural and put it on the bottom, saying I'm making sure they know I didn't get a sneak peak or anything. Depends on your style of course. Great trick, will be performing this one for sure. Thank you
One thing that might be awkward is if they pick 1 or 52, so I'd still say a range, almost like an afterthought, like maybe between 5 and 50 or something or we don't want to be here all day. Maybe even like "there's 4 of us here and our age or the highest age is x, so pick a number between those" or even something to do with a number of things in the current setting so it makes them think they're picking a totally random number
What a clever effect and so simple. This will need some practice to get it right!!! Thanks for sharing and keep the tutorials coming, just like magic!! 🪄
Am I missing something? The audience has just revealed the position of their card. This is not self-working, it's just counting. Please tell me I am wrong. but thanks for the vid.
No way I thought it would work. But the trick works.

Hey, you count down to the position of their card to prove it's no longer there 👍
