I like the footage you chose.😊 I still think "Bioware, We Need More Dwarf Content" would be a good alternate title. 😂
DAI (especially Descent) always made me legit wonder if dwarves are spirits trapped in bits of stone. They fact that they don't dream always felt odd to me, the whole dreaming -Fade connection. Why only dwarves got cut off when the Veil crashed down is just weird.

Yay, im not alone in thinking the magic of the stone/lyrium is completely separate from fade magic which is why dwarves cant dream/cast fade magic. My theory is templars have been using "stone magic" this whole time and what Valta became is essentially a super potent templar(hope they get called shapers) that can connect to lyrium magic naturally(no drug addiction). Edit: i get this crazy theory all from the "reinforcing reality" dialogue

i think the fact theyve been so close-vested about the dwarves implies many abiding mysteries are fragile to that information. The dwarves refer to the Stone as "she," which ties in with Elgar'Nan's origin story (Thedas as his mother), and I currently favor the idea that when Solas raised the Veil, he cut dwarves off from the Titans, which subsequently went dormant.

That was my thought, too! It just makes sense. It's another one of the big consequences of the Veil in my mind, and something else for him to regret.

I don' think lyrium is the blood of titans. Rather I think enough lyrium formed in one place creates a titan and becomes incorporated into it. This is because we see lyrium form in small quantities in various places. Basically, lyrium doesn't come from titans, but rather titans come from lyrium. I also think a large collection of souls is also needed. This is probably how titans form, through dwarven souls going into the titan's lyrium hive mind. But who knows what BioWare is going to do now? They don't seem to regard the lore or established facts anymore.

I hope they let us go into the Deep Roads again, I loved all the stuff there in Inquisition.

On Lyrium: I think spiritual magic (the green Fade stuff mages pull through themselves) is 'potential', an idea, a dream, a vision you can play with as if you are drawing something. But for it to affect the real world, you need to make it real, will it into existence. So where Templars use Lyrium to make reality more real, Mages can use it to more easily and on larger scale affect reality. Like they overlay their vision over reality and then make it the same. Dwarves can thus not cast magic, as they are genetically tied to reality and not the spiritual world. Enchantments are then a spell indeed that described what needs to change to reality when activated. A blade suddenly on fire because the enchantment rune described it as such, makes it a new reality. Shapes a new reality.

Oh man, all this stuff is so fascinating. Why do dwarves in every fantasy realm always gotta be so interesting!!! Ngl, I totally want to see the harvester enemies show up again since you mention them even though they're literally so creepy and gross to me hahaha. Also: What if Sandal is the Maker? (crack theory for fun :D)
