Just cleaned mine out... a awful smell started to linger smelt around and my nose led me to the fridge and I looked back there and I was petrified and what I saw growing back there 😳 the overwhelming stench and what seemed to be eyes looking at me confirmed my fears... so me and that fridge had a battle for the century ⚔️🛡 but in the end i came out victorious!!⚔️ the legends will be told of this fate filled day and glory 😤⚔️ for centuries to come... I just hope no one has to trek through what horrors o had to endure..
but yes I know no one will ever see this comment..... but one day just maybe this will be in the UA-cam recommended for a few unlucky travelers 🧳 or just possibly people that will endure the same horrors, but with that I will end my journey and wish you luck with yours! Safe travels my friends🛡⚔️

Thank you for this video!!! Someone spilled milk inside and it soured over time and thanks to your video I had the confidence to clean the evaporator pan by myself and take care of this horrible odor that was emanating. Thank you again😘😘😘
Same here...I thought it was a dead rat somewhere till we located the smell emanating from behind the fridge from the drip tray...Some milk had spilled 5-6days back...which was rotting... Yucky 😢😮

My old fridge has a pan to pull out from the front, but not so simple, it's not the issue. I'll unplug it, pull the cover off the back cover and check for another source. Hopefully it will be something obvious for me to solve.

How does the fan assembly come out with out breaking the plastic frame or drip pan?
I have a dead animal smell when I open the door to the fridge and the freezer after cleaning the heck out of it. This would smell even when the doors are closed right?

Do most fridges have an evaporator pan and also a drain pan or are those one in the same thing?
Usually Refrigerators have one of each... drain pan and evaporator pan
I have a Frigidaire Gallery 3 door 2018 model. We had a power outage when we were on vacation and came home to a fridge full of rotten food. I cleaned everything with bleach, then vinegar and then even tried baking soda water and then wiped everything with vanilla extract but we still have a horrible smell in the bottom freezer area.

@@VampirelaPR Oh that sucks. I had an hvac guy to come flush and clean it and there was a leak that he repaired. Then I unplugged it for a day or two then plugged it back up. It took a few weeks for the smell to go away though but it did. It kept me from buying a new fridge. Oh and buy some air sanitizer spray instead of air freshener. It works. Good luck!

What a lousy patent….what was wrong a a nice pull-out drip tray??? Too easy, I guess. The geniuses who design this stuff should be made to clean it out daily for a year …
