As much as i love, and enjoy the Salt harvest, it always remains a mystery to me why people who get angry when they lose think that calling the person who just beat them a terrible player or that the strategy was bad, as if that is somehow going to steal the satisfaction from the winner. You call it a bad strategy, yet it was good enough to beat you soundly, or you call them a bad player, but they outplayed you, which just means you yourself would be an even worse player. The next one is when players call the winner a Hacker, like, if the winner did hack to win, he probably doesn't care if you call him a hacker, and if he isn't a hacker... then why would they care if you call them a hacker? Its so weird.
Exactly my same thoughts. It boggles me when it happens to me, but way more in thermy's vids. I would think players at high MMR like in these vids would be more aware or have a deeper perspective of things. but nope, SALT. they're just angry and lashing out lmao
Most of the time people who say stuff like that dont care what the other person thinks, its beign said to release anger/stress/other emotions. They're mad and are releasing it in a direct way. Useful? Healthy? Is the guy you're insulting/hurting abuse at even listening? doesnt matter to them.
It's not really that complex if you think about it. If a worse player beat you then that will be way more of a frustrating loss. If a worse player beats you and think they're better than you because of it then it will not just be frustrating, but infuriating instead. Anyone can lose to a worse player, we have good and bad days. So the point is to try and keep some dignity by reminding them they had a good day while you had a bad one. In a perfect game, you'd win every time. Luck is a factor in games, worse players can win without being better than their opponent. And with the hacker comment, that's just to make sure they won't take any enjoyment out of the win. Some people hack because they like to pretend they won legit and feel good about winning, so you call them out as a hacker to make sure they remember the fact that their victory is hollow. So it's not about calling a hacker a hacker to make them sad about hacking, it's just about to make sure they know they can't gloat about their win. I don't do any of this personally, i never get angry at my opponent even if they cheat. The goal is to always play your best and if you lost against a worse player, that means you dropped the ball hard. And against cheaters, if you're going to lose anyways then it gives you the chance to practice some other things like macro or grenade placements if you're playing an fps.

Its strange that in real wars doing the unexpected strategy is extremely important and surprising the enemy is an know effective often winning strategy, yet in SC2 doing this causes opponents to have temper tantrums and to call you noob. The reality is that in war there is an element of luck that can seem like your playing paper scissors rock.
I'd love to see your skill apppied to AOE2, which I'm sure you've been asked a lot. If you get bored of what you are playing, AOE2 is a legit competition scene that is growing.

I always wonder how people that lose. Become toxic and then says. "Your build sucks. It was such a free win" That is just dumb to say when you lose to it. Then you can say that everytime you lose, if I had just did this or this to your build it would have been a free win for me. The fact is you did not, and you lost. hard, So if anything the only one having a free win, is the one you lost to. Be salty, act like a child. be toxic. be dumb. But saying its a bad build and would have been a free win when you lose. Dont do that. With that. A lot of respect for the Zerg you battled. He gives you really good matches. Super fun. And seems to give it a go.
I kinda feel for that last guy. I totally get being frustrated with cheese like that. He was doing what he needed to do, according to the textbook, and just got out-micro'd. To be fair, you do bring pro-level micro down to not-quite-pro level players which is a lot of your win-loss rates on these challenges, so again, I'll give the guy a pass. The second game was fire though! Huge shoutout to that guy for putting up a heroic fight against the unexpected!

Some ppl just don't know how to appreciate a good eseehc.
I was worried Marc may be a little under the weather, so I played this video at 0.25 speed for closer examination. OMG I think he’s had a stroke! He sounds terrible!!!
just when first rules screen popped up, colours of the drones and hatch changed from red to blue, how and why? :D
ZvZ is the best matchup. it's such a crazy matchup that can go either way any second
damn the viper/infester play
first I thought this was a pig salt mines!
I do like some salty cheese
True story, bro
That 2nd ZvZ was a banger! Ultras>Mutas
I subscribed for you channel because you are very cool
Its strange that in real wars doing the unexpected strategy is extremely important and surprising the enemy is an know effective often winning strategy, yet in SC2 doing this causes opponents to have temper tantrums and to call you noob.
The reality is that in war there is an element of luck that can seem like your playing paper scissors rock.
Yea with 12 pool you can cancel the egg because with that build you end up waiting before the overlord pops
Every day Ultras come out is a good day! 👏👏
in 12 pool it indeed doesn't make any difference, you will still bank 3 larva before you make a pool
do a spine drop put a drone in a dropalord and use the overlord's creep to build it and move it into the scv line.
Love your stuff!
I realize i never even grasped the core of this game
Can we get a ultralisk queen drop vs zerg?
absolutely superb
I'd love to see your skill apppied to AOE2, which I'm sure you've been asked a lot. If you get bored of what you are playing, AOE2 is a legit competition scene that is growing.
true story bro 😂
I am almost sure Marc, you trow this over yourself if i didnt knew better. Your play is incredible good.
Ga vooral zo door man, ik geniet van je filmpjes!
Huge shoutout to that guy for putting up a heroic fight against the unexpected!
another banger!! ❤🔥
good stuff
A wash is tie, you mean to say a wipe
“True story bro”
> true story bro
SAVAGE
Came looking for copper but I found salt. Nice.
Secretly a zerg main
I would watch proxy hatch to spine crawler siege all day
I think CRUX was meaning he felt like a rtard for losing to that.
Really enjoyed the third game :-]
I have a question. When that panels pops up in the beginning saying ‘Cheese’ and then a list of rules. Is that just an overlay for uThermal only and he’s the only one that sees it? Or is it a rule that is set for both players and they both see it?
It's just an overlay for the viewers here. The other player has no idea what the "challenge" is.
@@BigFx thanks so much! That makes a lot of sense
ultra rush such a good game :D
When are we going to see Spore Crawler rush to GM?
Just need a proper TvP build that makes it somewhat reliable.
I think he sometimes forgets how much better he is than GMs lol. I’m diamond and I don’t stream myself stomping on golds with a cheese
Must know how muta fell to the para bomb in game 2
Opponent (me) is bad at micro and couldn't find the affected units 😂
2:00 FOR GODDAMS SAKE MAN, STOP THE INCESSANT TALKING FOR A GODDAMN ONE SECOND MAN, THERE IS ENEMY APPROACHING YOUR BASE, MAN.
