The thing with the tight parking spots is you can't be 100% sure that when other person will come back to their car he won't scratch your car. He can just open his door and it won't be even your fault, your car was just too close. The same thing is about him leaving his spot. You don't know his skills. So keep that in mind every time you're parking
It's like having snow tires... your car might be safer to drive in the snow, but the guy behind you doesn't have snow tires and slides into your car... can't win...
