I will never get over my ex-husband! And I’m not sure I would want to actually. I think that would diminish the truth of the tremendous love and partnership we once shared and all the really wonderful years we had together before everything went wrong! Now saying that, I was forced to end that marriage after trying for 5 years past broken to find a way to work it out until it was a really toxic and unhealthy relationship so I would NEVER go back but the man he has become isn’t the same man I loved and shared sooo much with for so many years. However, I also think that despite never fully getting over him and always loving the man who made my life and my world a much better place and gave me some of the happiest days of my life that doesn’t mean that I don’t have the capacity to love someone else just as greatly! I don’t believe loving limits our capacity to love others! Rather, I believe, it increases the size of your heart so you have just as great an ability and space to hold another in that special, protected embrace of your soul! And maybe one day I will meet someone and have the opportunity to prove this theory! ☺️😆
