    Nowadays most mistry avoid stone masonary because it is time consuming for them,,but house is constructed not for single generation,,so for passing on the ownership to future generations,, foundation must be built by stones

    Stones increase the dead loads of the building so with stone you can't go for high floors

    • @letsdiscussitoversometea8479
      @letsdiscussitoversometea8479 Рік тому

      Presumably, stone would work well for projects such as creating load bearing walls for basements, however??
      I can DEFINITELY understand stone typically being unsuitable for high level buildings where the lower part of the buildings' structure becomes compromised by the sheer weight of the structure, weighing down on the relatively fragile building...
      But for a region whereby no load is having to be supported - perhaps with the exception of either by _more_ rock under the earth, and/or clay, rock seems as though it would be a good choice - perhaps that's how underground structures are supposed to be constructed?
      Any thoughts?
