- ENG: Despite another near frostless winter the light silt soil on this field came down well. We find a Fendt 724 Vario Black Beauty preparing a seedbed for onions. In front is a Keulmac levelling harrow and on the back a 7m wide VSS Agro seedbed combination. It is working in the Dutch Flevopolders.

Prachtige Fendt.
Great work.Tractor looks in a bit of hurry😀😀
Excellent 👌 👌👌👌💪💪💪💪👏👏👏
Nice 5/5
wheel size ?
Back 900mm front 710
Only a GPS is missing, so he would have to turn back and forth on the head land but make a wider turn
lepaul26 This tractor has RTK-GPS as you can see on the in cab shot. He is turning on the concrete path so there is no headland compaction.
Agrifoto ah ok, didn't see that :-)
But turning that way (backward, forward, ...) looses more time no ?
With GPS i would leave 1 "path" so i could just keep driving forward
lepaul26 Yes you do loose more time. This field was being drilled with onions and they were taking it slowly so the ground wouldn't dry out to much. Time is not really an issue. He could leave an extra path but not really needed for speed and when the GPS cuts out you can't continue. He only had to do a little bit anyway.
Agrifoto Ah yes, true !
In April no or almost no rain and now a lot of wind ... Then this is a better way of working !
@@lepaul26 april is too late for planting unions..
