    I asked my gynecologist if I could be estrogen dominant. She got mad at me for asking. She said she’s never heard if it then asked me where I learned this. She is no longer my gynecologist.

      So you fired her? Good for you! It's almost funny that she got mad at you because she's a gynecologist: she works with women's reproductive health every day. Of course estrogen will be involved! It needs to be in balance with progesterone, or major problems start to develop. Good for you; seek out informed, compassionate doctors!

      I feel you might find a couple in private practice. Most Drs feel they don't work for you because they don't usually get a check directly from you. They get it from social entities like Medicaid or whatever so they wrongly think you're getting things for free. Alot of them seem to forget what they learned in medical school because all they do is prescribe the drugs the pharmaceutical salesmen taught them about during dinner. Sometimes they are saturated with appointments and want to get each appointment as quickly as possible so this also helps them forget anything they might know about nutrition or vitamins and minerals and it's easier to just prescribe pain medication anything that can numb you until next time. If you talk about something you have been learning health wise they think you are teaching them and they may seem lofty at times. On a side note my pediatrician is actually quite good and helpful and where I live I think they are not as saturated with appointments.

    • @NanetteCallison
      @NanetteCallison 3 роки тому +8

      Not hidden per se but most docs don’t understand the impact of diet on our bodies. Their education is next to nothing on nutrition in their Med degree studies. I do however feel Dr Berg has left so much out in this discussion. I have been taking bio identical hormones for years. We need it for breast cancer provention, heart protection and so much more. Think about it, rates of heart disease and cancer in women skyrocket after menopause when our estrogen plummets. Bio identical hormone replacement hasn’t received the study it should as with so many women’s health issues. However the studies that have been peer reviewed and published show that balancing hormones before and after menopause can have tremendous positive effect.

    Dr Berg, if we are female, we have estrogen. Estrogen is a factor in heart protection, cancer prevention and much more. I understand that non bio identical hormones are bad for us but we need this hormone in bio identical form. Your video makes it sound like all estrogen is bad and it isn’t. Very confusing for viewers. Also I expected to hear what to eat for Ovary ‘type’ and got nothing. Incomplete discussion is pointless.

    • @NanetteCallison
      @NanetteCallison 3 роки тому

      @@SoleilMagica however women in pre thru post menopause are quite low in estrogen and yet he says it is the source of our fat. While estrogen is the reason we get baby making curves, it continues to provide health benefits. The sharp decline in estrogen due to menopause contributes to heart disease and cancer. We are woefully deficient in estrogen as we age and yet we gain more fat than ever. What is Dr Berg’s reasoning for that?

    • @NanetteCallison
      @NanetteCallison 3 роки тому

      @@DandyParrott I disagree. Estrogen declining as we age is inevitable. Why then do we gain even more weight after our estrogen levels decline in thus manner. His reasoning is faulty. If he is correct then when our estrogen declines with menopause we should lose weight naturally.

    Wow! I thought I was doing a good thing back when I switched to soy milk. I was lactose intolerant for a while, so I went to soy milk. And back then I was a size 12. It didn't take much for me to lose weight. So to soy I went and guess what? I started gaining weight and my menopause started and I could not lose weight. Started walking 2 miles a day and gained weight! Crazy! So now at the end of menopause and still trying to get this weight off me now a 14/16. So ladies please heed Dr. Bergs warning about soy. Work out now, so that you can maintain your size.

    Weird cuz this “ovary “ body type looks like the ideal body type .. weight gain in hips and thighs is really what is the most protective against metabolic disorders and heart disease. Also hot flashes and night sweats are normal /typical side effects during menopause , as your body adjusts to the normal reduction in estrogen ..

    One of Dr. Berg's best videos hands down. My whole life I've been plagued by estrogen dominance. I know the root causes: childhood vaccines, a poor diet growing up, not being raised to be physically active, and whatever chemicals my mom put into her body that she passed on to me. I always imagine the better version of myself - how much stronger both mentally and physically I could have been had this not happened. The one good thing I can say is I am very well proportioned and have a feminine face. However, I have to work ten times harder than everyone else to stay lean. Now post mold exposure and post back injury, my entire day revolves around my health routine, and it's incredibly draining. I'm honestly terrified of menopause despite my strict lifestyle. Also, fun fact: don't rescue an unneutered male cat if you are estrogen dominant. I did my research after wondering why I was so sick and swollen, and sure enough he doubled my estrodiol levels. Wasn't going to keep him anyway, but I will never have one again.

I have always struggled with migraines literally since I was a child and it’s difficult for me to take birth control because of my migraines and I was 30 years old when a Dr actually told me all those symptoms are because I had to much estrogen... it’s also a fact like Dr. Berg said people with high estrogen that have early periods in their life have difficulty conceiving or may not conceive as easy as some people I definitely fall in that category.
