If and its a huge if, the judge allows it to be entered into evidence. He certainly can (corruptly) rule to keep it out. Calling in Costello has a minimal risk but any unbiased jury would have heard more than enough already. But to have Costello included to gauruntee the appeal if Trump is convicted, you have to be willing to take the risk. Most lawyers wouldnt call him to the stand. But this isnt anything like anything ever to happen in this country.

I would do the same. The problem is that Trump is exactly the opposite of what bigoted leftists like Clinton claim. He is not a vengeful man, on the contrary. Admittedly, he can be resentful if he feels betrayed, unfairly treated, or criticized by someone in his private circle of friends, but never vindictive. That's not his way (not even with repulsive creatures like Clinton and Schiff). He makes fun of people, calls them names like "pencil neck" or "crooked Hillary" and perhaps even throws mud at them (as in the case of DeSantis during the campaign), but he doesn't want to seriously harm anyone.
Trump is a very funny, caring, warm-hearted and peace-loving person. And he has more understanding of human weaknesses in his little finger than Democrats in their whole hand.
