Good for you not riding the White Line. So many people before you taking this risk and posting it make it seem doable by regular people, when it isn’t.
Thanks for not riding white line. It gives me an ounce of dignity. Whenever people hear I've ridden in Sedona they immediately ask "have you ridden the white line?" I usually respond with I'm not trying to die and hangover is close enough for me.
White line is the easiest line of the bunch. It just looks intimidating. The hardest part for me was all the hecklers below on the jeep tour saying “OMG He’s Crazy, He’s going to die”. Next time I wearing ear pods. 😂
That climb has some really exposed spots that are technical too. I almost went off a cliff just from losing my balance for a split second on the climb and my front tire was tracking towards a rock. When I adjusted, my tire was heading right off the edge. i immediately hopped off and grabbed the bike before it went over the edge. since then my balance has been worked on immensely. For sedona, I would say obviously train XC miles, but also make sure to do a ton of balance work and upper body strengthening, like pushups. pushups on a swiss ball takes care of both. Anyway, it was too hard for me back then, hopefully by the festival in March I will be able to ride most of hiline. I havent even looked at the others yet! I think I dod hodwash for a 1/4 mile but thats it.
As a local, who’s ridden all those trails except the white line, yes, you always need more water than you think you do. Don’t worry about the water weight, you’ll drink it. Also, a good tip is to wear a bell on your bike to notify tourist on the trail so they know you’re coming. Great video love to see the local trails from another perspective.
Just got back myself, love these trails (not the White Line)! Next time you feature Sedona it'd be cool to see Thunder Mountain trail. I haven't seen it in many videos, probably because the exposure is way less, but the tech is similarly high to the other more famous hard trails imo.
Great video as always bois. Sedona is definitely on the destination list for me, hopefully our north-east tech skills help. As for the white line....I don't blame ya one bit lmao. The risk to reward ratio is wild.
Good times in Sedona. Much better than Snowdona in the spring. It was hard to fully make out, but that snake appeared to be a Mojave Green Rattlesnake. If so, it is only the most poisionous rattlesnake in the world and make it the most hazardous thing you encountered in Sedona.
4:30 I drove a taxi in Vegas one summer. Picked up these Canadian guys heading to the airport. This was their first time in Vegas, and a desert, and they said they had a great time, and they love drinking Budweiser. But, there one buddy wasn’t feeling to good, and he was a little loopy. I asked has he drunk any water? They said no, we just been drinking Bud. I go he needs some water, you can’t just drink beer of alcohol to stay hydrated. On the way to the airport, we stop by a CVS and get him some h2o. Within minutes he feeling better! I explained that booze dehydrates you in the desert, so you can drink 2 or 3 or 4 beers, but drink a water in between!!! Got them to the airport ok, and they couldn’t thank me enough for helping them out, and lesson learned So They Can Party Harder Next Time!

You guys haven't heard of the "Portal"? You should try. It is way worst than the 3 trails combined.

Two water bottles? For the desert? You boys are def from up north. 😁👍

I’ve ridden those trails before and got bit by a rattlesnake it wasn’t that bad just got back on my bike and went on my way
My cousin rode this and got his a$$ chaffed.
The chamois did not try its best.
@@ShaneStrasser 😂😂😂😂
Our condolences. 😔
no problem for the BC boys. you made it look so tame.
All you need to conquer those gnarly climbs is a little pedal assist. You’ll feel like a champion.
🔥🔥🔥
you hit the white line, you see the white light…

Yo!
when the water bottle trend backfires🤪😁
