Got confused for a sec when you called Stardust Racers "the premiere coasters at Epic Universe" because I could have sworn it was Mack 😆😆
All these words and their multiple meanings
@@AirtimeThrillsI’m glad you put AlpenFury at #2. The **actual** premier coaster lol
In 5 years, the flash will be in your 2030 video
I have more faith in the flash than i do either of the cotaland coasters lmfao
There certainly have been a few like that. Primordial, gozimba, cota
Flash gonna be mid anyway.
And Circuit Breaker/Palindrome.
Hopefully the park is shut down or sold off by then. Truthfully, it hasn’t been good since 2006 or 2007.
2025 will be titled:
If insanity was a year.
9:00 Helios construction is well on the way they posted pictures on instagram not long ago, it'll have a regular lift hill and it'll be super compact with some crazy looking elements.
8:38 I really hope we see more of these. It can maybe be a good compromise for parks that want to add family stuff, but have a strong enthusiast presence as well...like KI even though they aren't getting one.
Great video! Falcons Flight definitely looks interesting! I really enjoyed watching this!
Can't wait for AlpenFury to open at my home park!
Good list, Chris. I’m so excited that my home park, Six Flags Over Georgia, is finally getting a launch coaster since they haven’t had one since Viper closed in 2001.
@@camikelly2356 I'm so disappointed that my home park, Six Flags over Georgia, is getting this as it's supposed "launch coaster". I consider this more of a flat ride than a coaster.
Can confirm that Turbulence is a fun and fairly intense ride. Glad to see Legoland Korea getting a clone of it!
It’s not an exact clone, it has a different layout 👀
There are actually a lot of decent rides on this list, if they actually manage to open. The one I have some chance of riding in the near future is Quantum Accelerator, not the most thrilling of the bunch, but it fills a hole in SFNE's lineup. Stardust Racers looks really good. Honestly, the new-to-me coaster I'm most excited about getting around to ride sometime is nominally a nearly century-old coaster, one of the few bright spots in the past year's US coaster news: Lake Compounce's re-done Wildcat. I heard they fixed it.
I have never done an alpine coaster. I only live 5 mins away from Massanutten VA, excited to try theirs. 2 hours from KD with a pass, so I'm definitely riding Rapterra. I didn't see the new family B&M invert for BGW on here tho
Yeah I left out anything considered a family coaster, that included Big Bad Wolf
@AirtimeThrills oh I missed that part. Once I saw alpines I was thinking all made the list
Now the question is how many of these will actually open in 2025 🤣🤣
2 will
Bold prediction - 17 coaster UA-camrs from North America make the trip to Saudi Arabia for Falcons Flight.
None of them manage to ride it.
Actually you could just make a buy or sell out of that.
that's a fun buy or sell
@AirtimeThrills I thought so too! But for the purposes of buy or sell, if you use it could you replace the number 17 with the word "multiple" or "several"?
@@toyoracer33 yup
Falcon's Flight is only a joke on us when it can run reliably for a couple years.
Nobody thought the original rendering was even realistic but they actually built the thing
@ they built tt2 and got 6 days out of it. That doesn’t count as a ride
@@sumguy8 So even though people rode it, it's not a ride?
@@AirtimeThrills I mean, it could still end up going the way of Ring Racer, especially given Saudi Arabia's reputation for giving up on megaprojects.
@@ThemeParkOgre If it doesn't work for more than a year not in my book.
9:50, so that's why they closed Steel Curtain, to make it 50 feet taller and keep the record!
Also KD's next coaster should be a Mack Hyper, preferably with a spinning back car so I don't have to go to Australia for that.
It’s so weird looking at the DK coaster as Both a coaster enthusiast and Nintendo fan. Like, the Nintendo fan in me is going nuts due to all the cool references and animatronics, but the enthusiast in me is more skeptical of its forces and whatnot
So it's finally here
The coaster for you
If you get in line
You can ride it too
The restraints will fasten
And secure your lap
As we take you through
This monkey rap!
Huh! DK! Donkey Kong!
Chunky Kong’s restraint wasn’t fastened
You say that the Family coaster at Mandoria will “go through buildings”…. I mean yeah it’s going to an indoor park. Mandoria is a really popular indoor family park in Poland. It’s definitely the most themed attraction in the country, and I’ve seen some people call it the best indoor theme park in europe. I’ve never been (because it’s more obscure than Energylandia and when I went to Poland I thought i could skip it) but I’ve heard great things from those who have visited that have changed my mind and made me regret my choice to skip the park, so and I’m glad that the park is getting a major investment with their new vekoma!
I meant go in buildings in the building, like a russian nesting doll
@@AirtimeThrills Yo dawg, I heard you like buildings....
Can’t believe there were technically two references to Adventureland! Turbulence and they also have one of the four roller ball models
We had to watch this twice to make sure, you missed The Big Bad Wolf: Wolf's Revenge. Obvious number 1 though!!!!
Haha thats a family coaster, i was only looking at thrill or extreme level on rcdb
@@AirtimeThrillsI was going to post the same. I think it's worth an honorable mention and may offer thrills as well. But I understand.
@@AirtimeThrills imo it’s pretty cool B&M is making family coasters now, but the massive track is kinda weird. I think if BGW went with a New gen Vekoma “Hang but don’t bang anymore,” It would feel a lot more like the old Wolf.
1:44 I have ridden turbulence and I can say that it is smooth intense but very short
Seeing Kingda Ka getting dethroned really hurts. Never thought anything like Falcons flight would ever get built…
Yeah, I would've never thought it would get surpassed let alone permanently close. I've been obsessed since I was 7.
Ka not even making it to Falcon's Flight opens definitely hurts
Really sucks that Great adventure didn’t officially announce it until after it close.
Ik like Ka was a passion project for Six Flags and actually had substance unlike falcons flight which is just a government funded project and it’s likely that Six Flags Quiddiya will shut down in a couple of years due to low attendance since legit nobody is traveling to a country that has one the worst human rights records but whatever goes in Ka’s spot needs to be big not in height but when it comes to the actual layout like give us the best launch coaster in North America but if we get a premier launch coaster it’s over for great adventure
None of us expected this to get built. A lot of us don't think it's ever going to work. Not for very long anyway. The wind and sand are going to be insurmountable in my opinion.
I am very excited about falcons flight coming to six flags btw love the vids.
That slew of German names said so gracefully deserves a UA-cam award. Bra-vo.
That took me way too long to record
AlpenFury looks INSANE! Although I don’t have plans of visiting that park soon, I think I would list it as #1. Of course, it totally makes sense to list Falcon’s Flight as #1 but I think AlpenFury will be funner. And I fully agree that Stardust Racers might end up too tame so we’ll see!
I am very excited for Kings Dominion!
There will also be a mountain coaster opening in West Virginia next year (Brush Creek Falls)
I'm still in disbelief that falcons flight has actually made it this far. I remember seeing the first concepts and thinking there was literally no possible way that anything like it could exist
2025 might be one of the best years for coasters in history
If Fire Runner is too sluggish, they could always take some cars off of each train. Heck, if they wanted to, they could remove 4 from each train and make 3, 8 car trains! Just some programming adjustments of course.
Buy or Sell: Of the top 5 of the coasters you have listed, at least 2 will be open for less than a month (or fail to open) this coming season.
This will be an interesting one
I think Alpenfurry is a tad high. I’d put Stardust over it at least. Regardless, 2025 is going to be a top 5 ever year for coasters, even if only 75% if these actually open
biggest shock of this video was hearing Airtime Thrills correctly pronounce 'Ninjago'
Long before time had a name…
Have they ever made a swing launch that goes back and forth two or three times? On a similar topic have they ever tried letting you go through a course twice? It seems like with all of the buckling and checking your restraints they could get a lot of bang for the buck by just sending you through twice. My guess is that this would make visitors Tire of the Coasters more quickly and so they might get less repeat customers at their parks.
I think going multiple times back and forth when I swing launch would be really fun
Pretty sure that ice Breaker at sea World Orlando does a swing launch with w backwards and 2 forwards
@@Stockphoto_pirate It has 4 launches. 2 forwards and 2 backwards.
So many new coasters in 2025 and I bet one of those tilts gets delayed to 2026. So glad this is my new hobby and I really hope in 2025 and 2026 I can ride some new coasters looking at you Mattel park Kansas City.
Love the detailed info and analysis!! Question. When will Airtime Thrills be visiting Six Flags Qiddiya??
I cannot imagine a scenario where i get there, but it's not impossible
Why not? @@AirtimeThrills
@@Noura-n8s just cant picture myself getting over there
@@AirtimeThrills ok then don't come. If u come we will welcome you like we welcomed 27 million foreign tourists came to saudi arabia in 2023, If u don't so that's your call. I'm very excited for falcon flight i can't wait to go there.
I wasn't expecting Stardust racers to be that high. We held off going back to Orlando this year to wait for EU next year so have been following the progress like a hawk and even though I think it looks great I hadn't really heard anyone hyping it up at all so assumed the more hardcore coaster community weren't too excited for it.
Yeah im still skeptical about how extreme itll be, but hard to imagine it wont be great
@ i guess given where it is it can’t be too intense, it certainly looks a fun layout though
Is it confirmed that the Southport coaster is coming next year?
I dont know if they confirmed it but RCDB does have it slated for 2025
I’m hoping falcons flight does open, but I also still have my doubts
I'm not. Gonna be a technical nightmare
I don't like how Spitfire is taking the tallest inversion record in the cheapest way possible.
The current record holder...well, that's a lawn ornament that i did get to ride.
2:49 and on Desmo Race and skydragster as well, but these spike coasters are maintenance nightmares
3:54 There is a POV video of this coaster at Universal Studios Japan
Hey Chris,
You forgot about Storm in the UAE as that is also an Intamin Vertical Launch. It has a super-compact but fun layout. You should have watched the video by Coaster Studios on it. You would have found out about it there. So this would actually be the world's SECOND Vertical Launch but the first one to be outside as Storm is an indoor coaster as it is inside a mall. Also AlpenFury is going to have the record for most inversions on a launched coaster as it may have the same amount as Iron Curtain but 9 is unheard of on a launched coaster So there is that unless if the new launched coaster replacing Kingda Ka is going to have more than that at say 12 or maybe even 15 to beat The Smiler's 14. Who knows with that one.
I just meant this is the first 1058m version which is a WAY different coaster than Storm even if it is the same model
@@AirtimeThrills I was talking in total as the one you showed would be number 2 of hopefully many more and it wasn't a surprise that Falcon's Flight topped the list as it is the coaster to end all coasters. I am too much of a chicken to ride them but i just find it interesting that it is breaking 3 records and one that has been held for 24 years by Steel Dragon 2000 at Fuji-Q Highland in Japan as that one is 8133 feet long and Falcon's Flight is going to be over 6,000 feet longer than that which is about the same as IncrediCoaster at California Adventure believe it or not, its like you are adding that coaster to steel dragon in terms of the length which is insane to think about. That coaster is 6102 feet long and if you add 8133 to that you would get a little over the actual length of 14,235 feet but still adding nearly the same amount of track onto Steel Dragon would take that coaster to the next level as it could have the most airtime on a steel coaster if it were 14,235 long. Hell For the record breaker that is going to replace Kingda Ka I am thinking it is going to have 5 launches, 16 inversions with one of those being a 310 foot tall INVERTED top hat making it the highest on in the world. Just think of how surreal it would feel to be upside down at the height of Millennium Force? That and i am thinking that it is going to be at least 9000 feet long making it the longest coaster in NA and Vekoma is going to the manufacturer. I dunno what you think but THAT is a worthy coaster to replace the fallen King.
Dueling raptors is something I’m surprised RMC hasn’t done already, and sounds awesome. The dueling seems a lot more consistent with Yoy, since I doubt it’s a mobius loop coaster like Twisted Colossus
Its not, it is going to be like Stardust Racers where the tracks are separate and not linked together as one side is going to be more family-friendly and the other is going to be more of a high-thrill coaster with 6 inversions which would be the most on any RMC to date so it is going to be 2 credits which would be nice.
Helios will be a Big Dipper with Stryker Trains. With a Lifthill. There are a lot of Informations abaut it.
There isn’t one coaster or list of coasters that would dare me to step foot into the Middle East right now… but I’m most hyped for Siren’s Curse being an Ohio thoosie, and Stardust Racers and Epic Universe as a whole!
8:44 OOHHHH MY GOSH MY LOCAL THEME PARK IS GETTING MORE FAMOUS
Alpen Fury 🔥🔥🔥
The Mack Water Coaster in Qiddia will be a Poseidon Clone but with the new tracks.
9:05 I thought helios will use a chain lift since i saw some videos with the same layout and it used a chain lift. However launches would be sick
I’m excited for Dizzy Dropper 1. Oh, and Wrath of Rakshasa and Falcons Flight ig
Coaster Wars or not, you can’t deny the past few years since recovering from the pandemic has felt like 1999 onwards.
If stardust racers duels i really think that is going to be a standout ride anywhere!
Me last year: Yay! My coaster is opening in 2025!
Me now: Nope! One year to go! 2026!
As for your number one, it will be very interesting to see if this park holds up. Obviously, the backers have some deep pockets and won't just close the place if it has one or two bad opening seasons. But will it be enough to either pack in enough local crowds to stay profitable or bring in enough foreign tourists. Qiddiya doesn't have the now well established advantages of the two big UAE cities but I guess this is part of an effort to build that.
From a video I saw about Saudi Arabia (I wanna say RealLifeLore), they're trying to diversify their economy and, among other things, make the country more tourist-friendly. They're doing this while they still have the oil dollars to spare.
Lets hope that 2025 is better than 2024 in terms of coasters.. this year was a bit of a crap convention lol. Though i did enjoy iron menace a lot. also turbulence is REALLY good. One of my home parks (when im not at college, those are Lake Compounce and Six Flags New England, really hyped for quantum accelerator), and while turbulence is shorter than sierra sidewinder, i vastly prefer it.
Have you done a top 10 best coasters from defunct manufacturer I don’t remember if you have
a dive for SFGAm? Thank god, this park needs a capacity machine so badly. Glad to hear it
Still need to do the 2024 good coasters so im'focussing on that this year. Altough i might extent my tripp to the vea if the park in Ryad is already open at that time.
Single rail needs LED lights on the track and cars
I would still love to meet the genius who decided to build a giant Six Flags park in Saudi Arabia, one of the most inconvenient locations for the majority of people on earth
The people who built it live there so it makes sense
not owned by six flags, just using the name
Not if you live in Asia or Europe. And surprisingly, several people do! 😂
@hazza5999 and then there is the extreme heat and harsh religious laws
@kevinkrupski246 Oh yeah...and the murder of journalists critical of the regime, lack of human rights for immigrant labourers, and funding the war in Yemen. It's not on my bucket list.
I cannot wait for Alpenfury to open at my home park!! But I hope it won't be late... It doesn't look so well at the moment 😢
ITS A WEDNESDAY! I love this!
Until Cota land actually opens these rides I’m not convinced lol. Sirens curse looks super fun six flags Mexico… bummer that could have used this
Chris, will a intamin LSM coaster like Veloci replace Kingda Ka and Green Lantern?
i rlly hope
Either that or a Vekoma launch coaster as there is none of those in North America yet. They could build a record-breaker with that and not break the bank too badly as I heard those coasters are pretty affordable. More so than Intamin. A custom Layout with 5 launches, 9K feet of track and 16 Inversions would be a VERY worthy Kingda Ka replacement. It would be the worlds longest launch coaster with the most inversions in the world. One of them could be a 310 foot inverting top hat beating the 240-foot tall inverted top hat by 70 feet. yeah It won't be AS impressive as Kingda Ka's 456 foot tall top hat but still would be impressive to be upside down at the height of Millennium Force.
cries in Montezooma's Revenge
Not really a new coaster, but one could argue
I think I would put Georgia Surfer a little bit higher. Not much, but a 60mph top speed on a spinning coaster with one airtime hill that could be like a speed hill if hit at max speed. That alone will probably be pretty good. Then again, I've never ridden an Intamin halfpipe, so you've got me on prior experience.
The mack ones have good airtime on the backwards hill but thats about it. The spinning factor should add a lot to it
3:15 it is a indoor ride
But where is the gci going to mer de sable and the gci going to isla magica? And the gerstlauer family coasters going to walibi belgium and jarin de aclamation?
What about Top Thrill 2 ? Or is that project going away ?
That opened in 2024 so not a new for 2025 coaster really
How can you rank these coasters when they aren't opened yet
I mostly agree, just lower alpenfury down to just above yoy imo
Do we know if the Sky Rocket at Steel Pier will have vest restraints or not?
I havent seen anything, or if itll be a 2-car or 3-car
Not to be picky but you forgot a new mountain coaster coming to west virginia!
I don't think it's open yet but I could be wrong
Hmmm that one shows up as 2024, that's why I missed it
@@AirtimeThrills yeah no worries, It's not your fault at all
Just looked at the Facebook though, I thi k they delayed it and rcdb didn't pick up on it
4:49 That concept art can’t be Southport, you can see the sea. It’s on an estuary so unless the tide is In you can’t see it.
It’s not meant to make the sea look hyper realistic lol it’s just concept art focusing on the coaster not the landscapr
@iliketrains3546 it’s a joke.
@@katashworth41aren’t jokes meant to be funny?
@ for anyone who knows the area it is. Not all jokes are funny to all people.
IF!!! The Six Flags company gets the fastest and highest record back with the revange from Kingda Ka, i have mad respect! Still hate them for doing this, but is they are going for these 2 records.... Ka would not be that mad
Wow dude, obviously journey to Atlantis at SeaWorld San Diego getting reimagined should’ve been number one. I’m so totally right on this one, right guys.?
Avix opened earlier this month actually
so chain lifts are no longer a thing??
So there are 2 big problems with the georgia surfer coaster. 1. It will have extremely low capacity, like less than most flat rides low. And 2. You won't get wet while on the ride. This is my home park and they have said several times, the splash down spot is jets that face away from the train. The only way anyone is getting wet is standing in the splash zone off the ride... not an acceptable replacement for the shoot the chute they took from us.
Yeah that capacity is gonna be brutal
@AirtimeThrills it will be and if people really don't get wet on the ride... it still looks like fun
I'll put down a bet right here that Mattel Adventure Park never sees a single day of operation
As far as theyve gotten and plan on opening several more parks, i think theyll be fine
Kinda unrelated, but do you guys count the 2 sides of a racing/dueling coaster as different credits, like Red Racer and Blue Racer?
I dont unless the sides are very different
AlpenFury is the frontrunner for Best coaster of 2025.
airtime thrills beats me to a video idea episode 45
I released it before the new year which is a new strategy
Honest theme park question. Do people really really enjoy water rides when they go to theme parks or have they become obsolete over time?
The GP sure do
@ thanks for the clarification I don’t know why I thought to ask this maybe because I’m just not a fan of them but will go on them occasionally. It could also be because the thought of walking around with wet clothes doesn’t sound appealing to me 😂
Will you be at holliwood nights for 2025 👀
Nah
no big bad wolf?
He probably forgot or left off most of the family coasters as he also didn’t mention Snoopy at Carowinds
Yeah i wasnt considering family coasters for this list
@@AirtimeThrills ohhhh my bad
I’m still not convinced falcons flight is going to actually open, and if it does no way it’s open long
In czech theres more than 16+ alpline coasters
It's difficult to put a roller coaster on my bucket list that resides in a country where I'm breaking the law by entering and existing.
Honestly surprised that qiddiya didn’t get a intamin prefab instead of colossus
Yeah, that would have been amazing
Like and subscribe if we're not on New Year's Eve yet! 2025 is next year
Where's top thrill 2
That did open this year...only for a few days but it still doesn't count as 2025 if it opened for a bit in 2024
What about speedboat at walibi belgium
I left out anything considered a "family coaster"
@AirtimeThrills ok :)
how does alpenfury tie the inversion record steel curtain has 10, even if it is kinda bad it`s still a coaster
curtain has 9, or 8, depending who you ask
Not sure I agree with alpin fury being so high. Yet to see a premier match any of the big boys in terms of quality. I have way more faith in the Mack’s at epic universe and the one in Austria after riding Voltron. Also while the tilt coasters feel gimmicky I think new gen vekomas are quite good as I was impressed with lech coaster and FLY. Looking forward to fonix in 2025
So after Falcon's Flight operates for 1 week and then shuts down forever we give the Golden Ticket Award to Alpen Fury right?
I doubt falcons flight will win regardless
Watch falcons flight be the next Goliath (MM) 🤣
haha i wouldnt be that surprised
No Big Bad Wolf 2?
I was only looking at coasters with a thrill or extreme level, BBW is listed as family
7:46 not the worlds steepest drop and not the most times upside down? 7:58
Where the old Wiener Looping is going, no one knows.
Wolf’s revenge not infact mentioned 😔
No family coasters on the list, according to rcdb.com
