The Woman Behind GSX Powerboats | Kruis Retherford

Filled with determination and a "don't take no for an answer" attitude, Florida native Kruis Retherford combined the love for boating she inherited from her father and the business savviness she gained from her mother to became the owner of Glasstream Powerboats in Dothan, Ala. Since growing the utility center console brand into a lineup of 20 models ranging from 17 to 36 feet long, and expanding recently to include the company's next-generation GSX Powerboats series, Retherford has stayed true to her roots as a sharp-shooting, calf-roping, sweet-talking horsewomen. In fact, the only sensation she enjoys as much as the freedom of horseback riding is that of speed on the water.

Didn't know glassstream was in business.
I've never seen a GSX boat.
And by looking at the 36' model, I'll never afford one. Nor will anybody I know either.
And I've been a Florida boater for 40 years.
Guess I'll be sticking to the brands that cater to the peasants.
