    I passed my PMP exam on 06/01/2025, and it was incredibly challenging with lengthy, complex questions that required careful reading. Andrew Ramdayal’s Udemy course for the 35 PDUs and his UA-cam videos were a game changer for me! His honest and effective teaching methods helped me understand the PMP mindset and prepared me to pass on the first try.
    I especially recommend his "200 Ultra Hard PMP Questions" on YT.
    While no questions on the exam were identical, the patterns and terminology were very similar. If you dedicate focused study time (21 days is ideal) and follow his resources, you can succeed. Practice the mindset and time management to handle the lengthy questions.
    Thank you, Andrew Ramdayal, for your excellent and helpful resources! 🙏

    Q15. Correct answer should be A. Training sessions are generally broader and may not address the specific scope issues the team is struggling with. A workshop, on the other hand, can be tailored to focus on the exact challenges the team is facing.
    Also, just because the word " team" is not mentioned in option A, that doesnt mean workshop is conducted without team . The term "workshop" itself represents focused collaboration with team members to solve project related- specific problems...more on technical aspect.

      Yes I agree with this as well. This from PMBOK
      A workshop is a structured and facilitated meeting where stakeholders and project team members collaborate to achieve a specific goal or set of objectives. Workshops are commonly used in various phases of the project management lifecycle to gather information, solve problems, make decisions, or develop plans.

    Q14 is the issue about the stakeholder not receiving the report or that the important aspect of the structure was not tested? I assumed the latter would affect the project hence D

      Exactly the same reasoning here.

    • @noelokello
      @noelokello 25 днів тому

      Thinking as a PM in the construction field I would raise this exact question, too. If the answer targets the missing report, hence the stakeholder register, then the statement that the stakeholder structure was not tested is superfluous and just meant to throw off candidates from the correct answer. That raises the issue of ethical testing in the PMP examination.

    Question 17 needs re-visit C instead of B , below is my understanding
    The question asks for a strategy to prevent misunderstandings in a software development project with a client who has vague requirements and communication challenges.
    Analysis of Options:
    A. Apply a phased development approach to validate the project scope at each milestone:
    This approach allows gradual validation and realignment with client expectations over time. It’s useful when requirements are unclear.
    B. Collaborate with the product owner to establish a clear minimum viable product (MVP):
    This is common in Agile practices, focusing on delivering an initial working version quickly. However, it doesn't directly address communication issues.
    C. Enhance team-client communication protocols to ensure better clarity and feedback:
    This option directly targets the issue of communication, which is essential for avoiding misunderstandings.
    D. Implement strict deliverable schedules to force clarity in client interactions:
    While deadlines can help, forcing clarity through strict schedules might not foster the needed collaborative environment.
    Best Answer:
    The correct answer is likely C: "Enhance team-client communication protocols to ensure better clarity and feedback."
    Since the root problem is poor communication and vague requirements, improving communication protocols will address these issues most effectively.

    • @ganghu9859
      @ganghu9859 2 місяці тому +3

      I think the key issue here is the 'vague requirements' from client, and then the 'challenging communication' . The answer B) collaboration with stakeholder to establish MVP would be one of the best solution for that key issue, and also from PMP mindset as Andrew mentioned in the video, don't make decision all by yourself, which make answer C) not a good choice comparing with B) in this case.

    • @ecdestroy4444
      @ecdestroy4444 Місяць тому +1

      You just have to remember that MVP is your powerful weapon, that’s why B is better, especially when the requirements are not clear, MVP can help the customer to understand what the end product they want, which is the root cause, also MVP is a tool to gain feedback so you clear 2 birds in 1 stone.

    • @Rafael-b4o2p
      @Rafael-b4o2p Місяць тому

      Why C is Correct
      Option C provides a broader, more adaptable solution that directly addresses the root problems in the scenario:
      • Misunderstandings (communication issues).
      • Unclear requirements (vague inputs).
      Establishing better communication protocols ensures clarity, improves client engagement, and creates alignment-essential for any development approach, including MVP. Why People May Choose B (MVP)
      • MVP sounds like a solution to vague requirements, as it provides a concrete way to narrow the scope and focus.
      • However, the question emphasizes both vague requirements and challenging communication, making C the more comprehensive answer.

    • @Jumanji-ds5nd
      @Jumanji-ds5nd 20 днів тому

      Once he ads they already had issues with this particular client, and we have those in the software industry, it has been apparent to us that the client does not know how to communicate or showed us what they want or need, UNTIL, they see it to test it themselves. The client is NOT a tech expert, that is why he is paying us to develop a “ something” that makes him more productive, efficient, etc. What we do in our company, is to provide him a “something” that we think might work for him, he test drive it, and then he comes back and asked us to adjust this or that. That is called a MVP. To visualize better the issue here, let us add the words not written. Add this sentence to the issue statement. “ The client does not know how to communicate, and he is not sure what he needs until he test it”. I believe those are underlying words behind the “….often led to misunderstandings…” 😉

    • @prittibythepound
      @prittibythepound 2 місяці тому +3

      I thought the same thing. I was so confused because I was so sure it was a quality issue.I had to really understand the question and I think the reason for his answer is if the project manager would have received the status report when they were supposed to, then they would have caught the important aspect of the structure that wasn’t tested earlier. So that’s how the whole issue could have been prevented. He went to the root of the problem.

    Mr. Andrew I believe Q14 writeup isn't clear about the "situation" to address, whether it is " missed test" or about the "stakeholder" him/her self having received such type of correspondence/feedback..

  • @KiNGMe21
    @KiNGMe21 16 днів тому

    The problem I have with question 14 is, even if you informed all the stakeholders, you still would have missed the structural testing. This question doesn't come across as a communication stakeholder mishap, it reads more of a quality managment issue. The preventable measure should have been to thorougly go over the Quality managment plan to ensure all testing was performed.

    Hello Sir, for Q.No:14, it was also asked "one of the important aspect WAS NOT TESTED". So why not the Quality Management Plan can be the right answer? He might have used this to check if all aspects were tested or not and take the action accordingly either by asking the QA team to intervene.

    • @AditiRawat-rw5qh
      @AditiRawat-rw5qh Місяць тому

      The question here shows that stakeholder missed an important information, when he received he noticed that some thing has not been tested. Now they ask- that how the PM could have avoided this situation?
      If the stakeholder got this info on time, he would have told well on time that this XYZ thing has to be tested. So the actual issue (root cause) here is - uninformed stakeholder- which led to another issue. So to make sure that stakeholder got this info on time, PM should have checked the stakeholder register, which has all the details about which stakeholder should be updated with what project related information.
      I hope I could explain it well.
      However, Stakeholder Register is not a tool, it is a document. ;)

      The manager chooses to experiment with the new tool on a small scale within the project as a first step. This helps evaluate the tool's effectiveness and impact before fully implementing it, reducing potential risks and ensuring the tool's suitability for the team's needs. The answer C Option

    • @Jumanji-ds5nd
      @Jumanji-ds5nd 20 днів тому

      It is a strong argument for option A that in agile time is one of the constraints you are running against. Evaluating how the time is going to be affected sounds like a better choice, then have the team test the tool, with the knowledge of how using that time affects the project. Example, if the team already planned to use e-mail, as a communication tool that everyone is familiar with, introducing a “specialized” tool that the team might need training, or the IT department might have to install in the computers, etc. might affect the timeline already planned. C might be a great second step after knowing the impact. On the other hand, the question is not what the PM should do first or next.

    Hi, Andrew .
    I think the answer to Q19 is B .could you please recheck it again and confirm whether Iam right or wrong ?

    • @sergeilavrentev7468
      @sergeilavrentev7468 2 місяці тому

      Yes!!! Invite them on a regular Sprint Review wirh Product Demo will help a lot. Option A (adjusting future release timelines) - focuses on scheduling (NOT ADAPTATION) rather than directly addressing the need for alignment and collaboration. While this might help, it doesn’t address the root cause-stakeholders were not fully engaged in the release planning and feedback process. Option B - In Agile, sprint reviews are a regular opportunity for stakeholders to see the latest product increments and provide feedback. By inviting stakeholders, like the Vice President of Marketing, to these reviews, the project manager can ensure they have a platform to observe progress, engage with the team, and provide real-time input. This approach enables the project manager to clarify expectations, refine the product incrementally, and adjust based on direct feedback. It looks like the best case, HOWEVER one NO, inviting the Vice President of Marketing to every sprint review may not be practical due to their workload and the team’s comfort with high-level management presence at each session. But finally one YES - a modified approach could be to invite them selectively, such as for key milestones, major functionality demonstrations (and this is still inline with definition of answer B approach). Really tricky question :)

    Disagree with 14. The biggest issue is the omission of a testing requirement. What difference would them having the report matter if the test was still incomplete/incorrect? Seems like the issue is related to quality requirements, no?

    • @Rafael-b4o2p
      @Rafael-b4o2p Місяць тому +1

      I agree C is not correct The question specifically asks which tool could have prevented the situation where:
      1. A stakeholder did not receive the structural integrity test status reports.
      2. An important aspect of the structure was not tested.
      This highlights two issues:
      1. A communication gap with the stakeholder.
      2. A failure to ensure that all required structural tests were completed. The stakeholder register helps identify stakeholders and their needs, but it does not track whether specific requirements, like tests, have been completed. It primarily ensures stakeholders are recognized and engaged but doesn’t provide a mechanism to prevent missed requirements or incomplete tests.
      • While it can ensure the stakeholder is informed, it wouldn’t directly prevent the structural test from being missed, which is a core issue in this scenario.the CORRECT ANSWER IS B

    • @Jumanji-ds5nd
      @Jumanji-ds5nd 20 днів тому

      The issue seems to be that this is a “key” stakeholder, which implies he seems to be a subject expert in the matter of the structures, sort of like no one else knows more about the product than him. The check and balance of this project appears to be that this “key” stakeholder is supposed to be that checker/balance that assures that the structural integrity tests are being conducted properly, etc. Are the tests being conducted properly? Only this key stakeholder is the one that can assure you of that. If we are not holding that important “seat” for this “key” stakeholder our project will be derailed by bad quality. This needs to be corrected first, before we can address the quality of the testing. The Stakeholder Registry, is where we can make the appropriate correction, identifying, and classifying what this key stakeholder or how to interact, and incorporate this key stakeholder. The matrix, might not even hold information about the how to do testing on structures, it does not contain all the details of every single part of the processes little details of constructing a whole building. The matrix might just say, structural integrity needs to be tested. That was my understanding of this, I been known to be wrong though. 😅
