The manuscript which was found was Surah Taha, the 20th chapter, which I memorized. I read it and can clearly state there’s no difference Alhamdulillah.
Another awesome interview and frankly as a muslim revert I find that there's no comparison between Christianity and Islam when it comes to being sound in both history and theology. Still to each his own. In a way I'm glad I wasn't born muslim and had the chance to scrutinize Islam before I wholeheartedly accepted it. Alhamdulillah I haven't looked back since. Plus the quran continues to put everything into perspective.
Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur’an and indeed, We will be its guardian. (Al-Hijr 15:9)
The proofs are there, but as always hidaya comes from Allah.
I feel sorry for people like David Thomas who just won't accept the truth, but cling to their cognitive dissonance and desires
I swear…all the parts that i’ve read from it are the same of our todays quran…a tunisian here✌🏼
Brother Paul May Allah reward you the highest. I have read the oldest Quran pages. It is absolutely the same, no difference what we read today. It is a miracle. SubhanAllah.
When I was in 9th grade I was studying about compilation of the quran and how the companions of (prophet Muhammad peace upon him صلى الله عليه وسلم) wrote the words of Allah on leathers bones, and such and after seeing this the oldest manuscript of the quran makes me so honored and happy,, thanks be to God that I'm Muslim 🌷❤️
So it's interesting that the Professor, through his study of the Qur'an and the Ahadith, accepted the Prophet Muhammad SAW's integrity as a believer, but basically says that he (SAW) was lying when he said he was the last Messenger & Prophet. How do you reconcile that? I thought this was a beautiful, nuanced and respectful conversation, and I could even see where Professor Thomas was going with the idea of the Second Coming, but it did seem to me that he was refusing to see the wood for the trees, ultimately. But I respect him for his level of understanding, anyway.
I was fortunate to be one of Professor David Thomas students back in the early 2000s at the University of Birmingham. Back then he was a lecturer of Islamic Groups and Sects. I still remember most of what he taught.
I’m glad the ummah has someone like you
Brilliant Paul!..... He is a learned and respected scholar! 👍🏼
Thanks Paul for doing this. I was waiting for this analysis for a long time. Let me prepare my coffee and watch.
Thank you Paul for sharing these amazing interviews.

Prof. Thomas is an extremely sophisticated and learned scholar. His concluding statements however, are suffused by uncertainty; clearly a struggle between knowledge and methodology on the one hand and life long convictions on the other. May Allah guide him to the true message of Abraham, David, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon them all. Another great podcast by BT. Thank you Paul!
Thank you to both brother Paul and Professor David Thomas. The discussion was very enlightening.
Honestly sir thomas was the most open minded christian scholar I have have ever seen amazing interviews great highlight ✨👍🏻
A huge thank you to Brother Paul, for doing the real God's work, engaging so many scholars and asking those point-blank questions.
Have watched some videos from Brother Paul, but for this, I have to say thank you brother Paul.
