So, you‘re a clone. But you were developed by alpha centurion companies in world XYZ-123 which is in a separate reality, only accessible with folder boulders. You come from SPAAAAAACE and were made to deliver alcoholic beverages to researcher ice bears because you are a clone of type magma fractal. Magma fractal clones are created by alpha centurion company and the house of the sun companies, specifically designed to bring alcoholic beverages to ice bears. But then you got sucked into a computational thing (aka computer) with a dev in it and he squeezed essence X out of you (we‘ll talk about it later i promise) and now he is making other clones out of you but they hate you because you gave essence X and without it they are angry and so you need to die in order for them to truly live yes yes looore
Some improvements: 1. Make the player Idle animation just still. Adds some ominous elements. 2. Create some spikes where you brutally die If you get too close. 3. Make the environment darker and give a limited visibility range. 4. Create a clone kill and death animation, and make it BRUTAL, with blood all over, for some good inspiration check out the game „house“ 5. Make the puzzle jumpscare a close-up of a clone dying, a decaying body laying on a spike covered in blood, with fear forever imprinted in it‘s eyes.

Fear of the unknown and paranoia are your friends here Never let the player feel safe, either by fourth wall breaking or just by having fake safe spots in the game
Ai horror game idea. An ai art generator makes the monsters useing a random descriptive horror word generator and the ai randomly give it quirks and mechanics from a list, and the player has to survive in an abandoned overgrown world full of these monsters.
Some Things That Would Make Your Game Scarier : 1. Make The Clone a Bit Scarier Like Add a Bloody Face and a actually jumpscare when the clone gets you. 2. Add breathing and heavy breathing sounds, like when the stamina is low the player should breath and when the player has no stamina, the player would do heavy breathing and when the clones are near the player should be breathing and when the clones are very near the player should do heavy breathing. 3. Add screaming when the player gets caught. 4. Add some random screaming in the backround if you entered the wrong door. 5. Add some fake doors that lead to death. 6. Add a bad ending where you go to the end and shoot your developer and you get removed. 7. Add a little bit of blood on the fake doors so you can know what door to not go in. 8. Add clones that have no head. 9. Add clones that come from the sky and run to you. 10. Add survivors. 11. Add a friendly ending on where the developer decides to not remove you because your survivor friends are actually his developer friends.
Make the AI Clones gray Give the player eyes (you don't have to add anything else... Just the black dot eyes) The real programmer guy (in the game) will stay white Other details to make it better: 1) The enemy clones should make a silent and scary sound when approaching a player 2) The enemy clone must glitch through a door (The enemy clone will flicker when doing this) 3) The enemy clone should be 4 pixels taller than the player

This style of horror reminds me a lot of Metroid: Fusion where you get to see SA-X (or Samus' clone) throughout the map. Initially the player doesn't really know what it is, and it's uncanny movement (with how it mimics Samus almost entirely) combined with its slower movement and familiar arsenal.

It was a good idea and I think you did a good job but when in a horror game you can kill the enemies the horror starts to fade away and it becomes more focused on action. You wanted to make the game scarier, but this one simple mistake made it actually less scary. You should keep what you want your game to be in mind to not make it become something else.

One should be careful, because when all you do is try to be bad, the charm & irony will wear off and you'll just be bad for the sake of being bad.
Idea: make it so that you can enter rooms and there is like chests with coins or something and a chest could be a clone (coins could be used to buy from a shop, maybe you can buy more stamina or something)
I think it would he scarier if there was just one clone but they could open doors. And to limit he options of fighting back to maybe just stunning or something. Kinda like how RE2 has mr x chasing you the whole time
it would have been cool that halfway into the game, we see a computer and we think its the end, but the computer was just a clone and then the game turns into hard mode (like baldi's basics with the exit door)
The game would be a real horror when the player will have less visibility, so clones could apear out of no where, footseps sounds and intense breathing sounds while being chased by the clone.
I respect the effort you put into the game but tbh it just sucks you were so focused on making a "scary" game that you forgot all about the gameplay all you do is wander around different rooms while trying to find a way to progress
To make it a little more scary. I would say 1. Maybe add a subtle face in the darkness every now and then but not for too long to make some room for mystery. 2. When it's the game over screen make it so it's the same screen but when you start the game back up it changes the feel to be a little off, then with surprise, add some sort of glitchy jump scare and some red color to make the game have color now and then. 3. Make the jump scares scarier: make it go completely dark and then out of nowhere the clone appears with blood dripping down. 4. Lastly, add a cheeky jump at the end when people are least expecting it.

And the twist is that in the start you are the clone that you create after clicking "create a clone", and the enemy was already there.

I think it would he scarier if there was just one clone but they could open doors. And to limit he options of fighting back to maybe just stunning or something. Kinda like how RE2 has mr x chasing you the whole time
it would have been cool that halfway into the game, we see a computer and we think its the end, but the computer was just a clone and then the game turns into hard mode (like baldi's basics with the exit door)
make a secret ending where you shoot the guy at the end
Suggestion: make it more puzzling and more scary cuz it doesn't feel scary

The game would be a real horror when the player will have less visibility, so clones could apear out of no where, footseps sounds and intense breathing sounds while being chased by the clone.

To make it a little more scary. I would say 1. Maybe add a subtle face in the darkness every now and then but not for too long to make some room for mystery. 2. When it's the game over screen make it so it's the same screen but when you start the game back up it changes the feel to be a little off, then with surprise, add some sort of glitchy jump scare and some red color to make the game have color now and then. 3. Make the jump scares scarier: make it go completely dark and then out of nowhere the clone appears with blood dripping down. 4. Lastly, add a cheeky jump at the end when people are least expecting it.
