    The grounds of Hokokuji are so lush and the ajisai are so beautiful. The bamboo forest reminds me of Arashiyama and the movie "House of Flying Daggers."

    That bamboo forest is amazing. I'm a New Yorker in a constant concrete jungle, so seeing something that simply natural took my breath away. Thank you for sharing this experience.

    I absolutely loved it here! I actually prefer it to the famous bamboo forest in Kyoto. Although it’s smaller, it’s so much less crowded so there’s a lot more atmosphere, and you feel like you’re really going through the forest on the stepping stones.

  • @killerfunghoul3948

    looks like a lovely serene place to be in. tbh i wouldn’t care if it rains at all, just because of the atmosphere it creates.
    some of those other visitors were wearing beautiful yukatas in the background. guys, where’s your yukatas? please do a vid wearing them if you have them (i know it’s like asking a scottish guys to wear his kilt even though us scots don’t usually own them, unless for a wedding the guys have been asked to be best man or is the groom)
    and yes those hydrangeas are nice, i do prefer azaleas though.

    Hi Sinichi wow that was absolutely amazing not to much forest left in the world to enjoy since everything has to be destroyed to make room for condos and shopping centers. I wish I could fit in your pocket so I could be there to see it for myself. ( I'm only 4ft 8 so it's possible I could fit) 🤔🤔🤗🤗🤗😊😀😊. I love you guys. Every time I get a notification of a video from you I run to the closest device to watch. Please say Hi to Sitoshi for me. 🤗🤗🤗🤗.I hope to visit Japan one day and maybe get to meet you 2

    It brings me back to the bamboo forest I visited in Arashiyama, but it was in April, so no hydrangeas in bloom. The red camellias, however, were in full bloom, and they looked gorgeous.

    I would love to visit Japan and go to places like this, but I fear that I wil have problems with my wheelchair. Most places don't look like they are accessible with wheelchair, is that true? Is it complicated for persons with handycaps generally in Japan?

    • @TabiEats
      @TabiEats  6 років тому

      It isn’t too complicated but it could be better. Riding trains should be no problem because the staff at tram stations will help you get on trains and also to help you get off. However it is not as wheelchair friendly as in the US unfortunately. It’s definitely easier if you have someone to with you on your travels.

    • @QuiltingCrow
