Learned alot from this took some personal notes as well i would say make it a series reviewing this type of stuff so we can avoid the fundamental mistakes
People always tend to crucify others for their mistakes, but I think she’s is already a couple steps ahead of some of us. I know I don’t speak for everyone. But I still admire the fact that she’s already having client meetings. She already knows about running ads. She just jumped into the field with no sales/communication skills, thats brave in my opinion! Jordan, I NEVER comment publicly on social media but you don’t know how much value I find on your videos, it has given me loads of inspiration. Just wanted to say infinite thanks and hopefully soon I’ll be joining the Academy. Cheers everyone! Keep up the good work.
The basic pysche of customer is - they are not experts in these technical stuff so their natural instinct is to judge the "agency owner" by thier speaking style , confidence ETC
Thanks, thanks, and thanks!!!! From all, AAAAALL the UA-cam channels I have looking for, you are the ONLY ONE who provides REAL VALUE!!! I am chewing every single video I can from your channel! Thanks my man, life is keeping you save, healthy, and successful thanks to your generosity! Thanks again Jordan!
I’ve been in sales and for her first call that’s was brilliant well done! It can be very daunting I started doing door to door and I couldn’t even say hello on my first day so really well done you can only get better!
This is very valuable Jordan! I had my first ever sales call yesterday and I gave up at an objection similar to hers. I would love to see more videos like this about sales calls and how to structure them.
Everyone on UA-cam, Is receiving so much value from just this video alone! Guys anyone can do it, believe in yourself and push forward. Thank you Jordan!🔥🔥
Realised I'm doing so many things wrong in the sales calls. Thanks a ton Jordan. Would love to see the notes too..!! Also we need more such videos from you.
you cant stop and explain enough man. i stg. im in legit in the worst spot ive honestly ever been in my life and so ready for a change. ive been a sponge!
Watching these videos is extremely beneficial as it allows us to learn from the mistakes of others. I encourage you to pause the video to provide comments; this approach greatly enhances our understanding of where improvement is needed.
The sales script being shared with the client was killing me 🤣🤣 We all start samewhere , I hope she's doing good now after 8 months. Thank you Jordan for these amazing sessions of breaking down these calls .
I have watched 100s of videos about starting an SMMA, but it wasn't until I came across your channel Jordan that I felt I truly could understand and finally start. Starting about 2 weeks ago, I have chosen a niche and gotten an extensive lead list, and cold calling will start tomorrow. :)
great video! people underestimate the necessity of basic attention to detail & professionalism like being planned in advanced. Having those Sales script pop out was a simple avoidable mistake, but I am sure she will improve ❤
As painful as it is to watch this agency owner struggle, it is extremely helpful to see your real time critique. I truly get more out of these sales call videos both good and bad, than any other instructional video I've watched. Keep up the good work.
Honestly I discovered your channel rather recently, and I think it's very valuable and informative. I'm looking forward to seeing more content like this!
This is a great video concept Jordan, one thing I think would be helpful next time is adding subtitles on what the owner and prospect are saying. Sometimes it was a bit hard to follow on with the audio. The feedback and guidance you provided was great. Good for her for being open to sharing this, especially it being only her second sales call.
I love these videos, I'm currently in the process of starting my own agency and I love when you stop the video to give feedback because the mistakes the agency owner in the video did will most definitely be the same mistakes I will be making and I love when you give examples of what to say and how you give the psychology behind the response because it gives me a better understanding on why to say a specific thing in a specific way. I really do enjoy the long in-depth videos due to their value and how much its helping me as a 17 year old who's new to this, I hope you know how helpful you are to so many people who are trying to achieve their goals.
Often us in our first few sales calls/meetings, however, it's a MUST-go-through type of process. One important keynote to take in before entering a virtual/in-person meeting, (1) watch Jordan's videos. 💯
Thank you for your detailed feedback and also how you show and tell what to say instead. Dope Content! I am really inspired by your generousity for putting this knowledge out for free!
Amazing review! Regarding your comments IMO it's best to do them at the moment, on the spot. It would be really nice to get these review notes. I'm not that afraid about tech stuff of sharing my screen etc, but more about having all sales call framework in my head clear :) Thanks, Jordan! :)
Can't blame her tho. 😂 EVERY PRO WAS ONCE A BEGINNER. Atleast she knows now what mistakes she made and I hope she'll work on them before her next meetings.❤
Great video concept Jordan! Really looking forward to more videos like this. It'd be great if I could see the notes too. Love how frequently you pause and give your advice, really learned alot!
This took me right back to my first sales pitch 😂. Well done to this woman. The first hurdle is getting in front of people. Its hard enough cold calling. I think this kind of content is invaluable for new starters. I also think its important for them to know that most of us ( salesmen/women) were scared shitless when we started. Learn your picth. You know more than they do about what you're selling. Thats something that always stuck with me. Great video as always.
I believe that if 1 is to begin an SMMA agency then he must learn how FB ads work and know how to run them themselves or at least have a very clear idea of how they work because if you don't then you don't truly understand the power of ads and you also automatically sell a product without having any strong beliefs about it. You must be 100% convinced that what you're selling is the best thing in the world. Ads are 1 of the most powerful tools of capitalism. What are your thoughts on this?
Man, they did not respect the business owner's time. 15 minutes is over and they still haven't spoken about what they have to offer. I've had calls where the business owner says, "you said 15 minutes and I need to go." That's the worst feeling because you don't even get to present, let alone close.
Jordan! Really helpful video, you provide so much value. I much prefer you continually paysing with feed back because i yhink if you waited till after it would be harder for us to remember exactly what she did and what exactly to do differently. Giving immediate feedback is much easier to digest. My two cents.
Jordan can you please do a video covering the payment side of things in detail in facebook and between your clients. (i.e where the money goes, how much is spent etc)
I suggest you watch it through once. Then go back and pause and comment. That way you have a longer video to satisfy the youtube algo and you retain a longer view time.
Hey Jordan, I've been watching you throughout this journey on restarting once again. Could you make a video for a service that surely will make a trend in 2024 one that a start up agency could possibly offer. Aside from ads tiktok and facebook also the automated google reviews. Are there any other services you think could possibly sky rocket this new year? Thanks and Goodluck!
Okey so what if our client ask us a stupid question like "what you mean with that you gonna generate us leads"? "Are you meaning you gonna offer us clients"?
Want to see a Affluent Academy Student actually sign their first client live?
Watch this video next 👉 ua-cam.com/video/nL5OUjx_lD4/v-deo.html
Nah we want to hear more critique
Let me know if you want to see more SMMA sales call critiques!
PLEASE do these are so helpful for new starting agencies
Yes please...also Jordan is the script available for us on Agency owners? :D
Of course, Jordan! Thanks so much! Live ones are the best. Specially from starting agency owners :)
Learned alot from this took some personal notes as well i would say make it a series reviewing this type of stuff so we can avoid the fundamental mistakes
thank you so much for this, would love to see more! sooo so so helpful!
This was so awkward to watch but very helpful. I like how you pause a lot and give your opinion.

"Can you nutshell me" part sent me 😂 but I know these things happen to even the best of us! At least she's taken the steps that many chickened out of
accidentally screen sharing the script is FUCKING TRAGIC 😭😭
Pause as much as possible! It’s consistently helpful.

Jordan really went into the 5 stages of grief throughout the video 😂😂😂
I have watched 100s of videos about starting an SMMA, but it wasn't until I came across your channel Jordan that I felt I truly could understand and finally start. Starting about 2 weeks ago, I have chosen a niche and gotten an extensive lead list, and cold calling will start tomorrow. :)

Very valuable. Pausing and explaining at the right moment is the right way to go in my opinion.
Looking forward to seeing more like this!
This is really good ! As you said being on receiving end it's so easy to spot when sales person have no idea what are they talking about 😆

Great video. The pausing isn't an issue. Every time you paused you dropped some knowledge!
Glad to hear it!
Keep these vids coming, Jordan!
100% helpful. I spent 2 hours watching this video and doing notes🤭
Very helpful to see this @JordanPlatten. I wouldn’t buy from her not because she’s new, but because of the complete lack of enthusiasm/energy.

You must stop more and give more feedback. Want more of these!

If your sale process long it will become more complicated! SECOND IT IS NOT SHOWING PRICE CONTRASTING AND REBUTTALS...
2. IRESSITABLE OFFER
Okey so what if our client ask us a stupid question like "what you mean with that you gonna generate us leads"? "Are you meaning you gonna offer us clients"?
If this chick got clients SURELY I can get some
Absolutely!
This is SO helpful! Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Hey Jordan, as a seasoned SMMA owner, what do you think of the the niche: psychotherapists/mental health clinics?
